What are people saying about Venice

We had the best guide
We had the pleasure of having Zahra as our guide in Venice, and she truly made our experience special. With a degree in Literature and Art and a wealth of knowledge about Venice, she brought the city to life as we walked.
Our three-hour walking tour took us through hidden gems and lesser-known corners of Venice. Zahra shared stories and insights along the way, and we learned so much while exploring the city. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
Zahra was also incredibly kind and thoughtful, even taking some lovely photos of us along the way. She was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about Venice.
We would highly recommend Zahra to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience in Venice!

Best to in Italy so far !!!
Moses was an amazing guide . full on excellent & often humorous information about both buildings & the historical culture & events of the time. I would give it a 10- perfect score - the early morning tour was great as well were alone & it was not too hot yet. We had a break to grab a drink to cool off in the middle. Perfect tour..Loved Moses!!!

Great way of exploring Venice
Gloria was lovely, attentive and informative. We visited 5 barcalos, in 4 we had a savoury snack and a drink and in the last a gelato. There were good options to cater for all needs and dietary requirements. A great way of visiting parts of the city you may not find and trying the Venetian ciccchetti.

Does it worth it Murano & Burano Islands?
Murano & Burano Islands Tour I am questioning if it worth it at all. Visiting the glass making is the highlight of the trip but other than that I am just wondering if it is best to do it individually. If you join this tour please make sure not to sit the back of the boat the smell of the engine is horrible.

Wonderful start in Venice.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience meaningful. She included many insights to the tour and even brought samples of the mosaics that were used in the basilica we were visiting.
The other note worthy comment is that we were stressed with a delay in our flight and almost missed the tour. But they waited a few extra minutes for us to arrive and couldn’t have been nicer.

Don’t miss this tour and come hungry
Lorenzo our tour guide was awesome. He was able to describe the food, wine and culture of Venice in an entertaining way. Definitely come hungry for this tour. My daughter and I along with another couple on the tour are not big fish and seafood eaters. Lorenzo was able to offer alternatives to the tasting as needed. All of the food and wine were delicious!

Great tour of Hidden Venice
The guide provides lots of insights and history of that portion of Venice, that we wouldn’t have gotten walking through on our own. She was very friendly and answered lots of questions. She also had restaurant recommendations based on personal experience.

A great way to spend a morning
This was a great way to spend a half day exploring the islands just outside of Venice. I love glass so it was fun to see the Murano Glass factory, although that part feels a little commercial (not pressured though). I could have spent more time in charming Burano - the colorful houses and charming lace shops were fun to visit. I bought a beautiful wrap, and tablecloth with matching napkins, I can't wait to use them all.
The boat ride was a nice way to see Venice and the surrounding canals. It was an extremely hot day, so the breeze was really appreciated. Serena was an excellent tour guide with a nice balance of knowledge, clarity about meeting times, and friendliness.

Abigail was a great guide...
Abigail was a great guide and very knowledgeable, we learned a lot! Advice for all is to leave yourself extra time to get to the check in place so you can be in time. If you need to take a vaporetto, and your timing is off, you may wait 20 minutes. If you can walk, it's a nice walk. Be sure to know the route so you don't get lost on your way!

The best tour guide I've ever had, on any tour anywhere.
THE FOOD:
I really liked that at each place we had selections. So if you're not an adventurous eater or you have dietary requirements there were options. And for those who wanted to be adventurous could be. All the food was tasty and a nice variety.
FOOD INFO:
She gave great tips on how the Italians eat a meal, the differences between some of their food and other cultures as well as differences between Venetian food and other Italian food.
CITY INFO:
We did more than talk about just food, she gave great tips on the city itself and some of its history. I myself sometimes get bored with too much information, but in this case I found all the information super interesting and/or useful.
THE GUIDE & OTHER INFO:
The tour guide was literally one of my favorites ever. She really set a solid expectation at the beginning of what we can be expecting. For information was interesting and useful. She made sure ahead of the tour to note where all the restrooms would be located on our tour. She definitely pointed out places where we can refill water bottles. And she was happy to answer any questions that did not necessarily pertain to food. At the end of the tour she gave us a link to her recommendations of other places we could try. A++++++
LOGISTICS:
There are minimal amount of bridges to cross. And the largest being right at the beginning. The rest of the tour is pretty leisurely and set at a good pace (not too fast or slow). It should be noticed that most of the places are very limited on seeding and so you will be standing a large part of the time (this may be helpful to know for those with mobility issues).
WHAT TO BRING:
Do suggest bringing a water bottle so that you can refill at the local funds instead of buying water. You can't purchase drinks at each location if desired.

Alice gave our group...
Alice gave our group fantastic insight into what makes Venice so unique, with a great combination of old history and current events included in her tour. She was interactive and friendly throughout our walk, and provided information even while she kept us moving from one area to the next. Highly recommended.

Great walking tour
Giada was truly a great and informed tour guide. Loved hearing about the history and architecture of Venice, and while they promised less than 10 people (we had 12 and 2 don’t show which means 14), but it was ok. Giada was great with taking us places slightly off the beaten path. Venice is very very busy though.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Venice is completely closed to traffic, but its maze of alleys and canals is almost impenetrable to a first-time visitor. Skip the hassle of following a map and see the A-list sights and quiet neighborhoods far from the tourist crush with a walking tour of Venice. Choose an express tour to get your bearings or a longer half- or full-day tour for a deep dive into the city’s history and culture with a private guide or a small group. For the full Venice experience, explore the city by land and water with a combination walking tour and gondola ride.
