What are people saying about Venice

Great tour of Hidden Venice
The guide provides lots of insights and history of that portion of Venice, that we wouldn’t have gotten walking through on our own. She was very friendly and answered lots of questions. She also had restaurant recommendations based on personal experience.

Excellent experience...
Excellent experience touring Murano & Burano. Silvia Piubello was exceptional guide sharing insights of beautiful history of all Venice islands and also Murano, Burano lifestyle. Glass making experience was informational and amazing to see beautiful creations made right in front of our eyes. Highly recommend the tour.

The one and only walking tour I recommend in Venice if you want a small group and a specialised route!
Majid has been a great host for us. We took the tour as a family of four and there were only 2 other ladies in our tour. Being a small group really made the conversations much more tailored and we were able to ask lots of questions.
Majid knows a lot about the history of the city, the architecture, the culture and ‘why’s of the city. Why are there many arcs between the buildings? Why are there small bowl-like structures by the wells? Why we don’t see many detached buildings? etc..
We learned so much not only about the attractions of Venice, but also the life in Venice.
The icing on the cake was a visit to the chocolate and lemoncello-tastings in the dedicated shops!!
I strongly suggest this tour and Majid as a guide. Make sure you pin each location visited as it is difficult to find later on as you’ll want to visit again!!

Francesca - perfect tour guide
This entire experience was terrific. The check in staff were helpful and thorough. The tour itself was the perfect length and absolutely must do when you visit Venice. Francesca, our tour guide, was maybe our favorite part though. Her English was nearly perfect. She was friendly and knew her history very well. She did a terrific job sticking to a few common themes that were present throughout the tour. She was perfectly on time as well. We’ll never forget this tour and our time in Venice!

Great tour with Great Guide.
This experience was worth the price paid, just for the stremlined entry into the sites. Our guide offered excellent commentary full of humor, history, and highlights. He was definitely the icing on top of the cake. Great tour, would recommend highly. Length was just right to hit all of the pertinent points of each location.

The best tour guide I've ever had, on any tour anywhere.
THE FOOD:
I really liked that at each place we had selections. So if you're not an adventurous eater or you have dietary requirements there were options. And for those who wanted to be adventurous could be. All the food was tasty and a nice variety.
FOOD INFO:
She gave great tips on how the Italians eat a meal, the differences between some of their food and other cultures as well as differences between Venetian food and other Italian food.
CITY INFO:
We did more than talk about just food, she gave great tips on the city itself and some of its history. I myself sometimes get bored with too much information, but in this case I found all the information super interesting and/or useful.
THE GUIDE & OTHER INFO:
The tour guide was literally one of my favorites ever. She really set a solid expectation at the beginning of what we can be expecting. For information was interesting and useful. She made sure ahead of the tour to note where all the restrooms would be located on our tour. She definitely pointed out places where we can refill water bottles. And she was happy to answer any questions that did not necessarily pertain to food. At the end of the tour she gave us a link to her recommendations of other places we could try. A++++++
LOGISTICS:
There are minimal amount of bridges to cross. And the largest being right at the beginning. The rest of the tour is pretty leisurely and set at a good pace (not too fast or slow). It should be noticed that most of the places are very limited on seeding and so you will be standing a large part of the time (this may be helpful to know for those with mobility issues).
WHAT TO BRING:
Do suggest bringing a water bottle so that you can refill at the local funds instead of buying water. You can't purchase drinks at each location if desired.

Alice gave our group...
Alice gave our group fantastic insight into what makes Venice so unique, with a great combination of old history and current events included in her tour. She was interactive and friendly throughout our walk, and provided information even while she kept us moving from one area to the next. Highly recommended.

Would 100% recommend!
Stefan was a great guide. He was professional and shared his knowledge with us throughout whilst giving us time to look at things ourselves without rushing us. It was a really enjoyable experience and the Gondola ride at the end was the icing on the cake.

Awesome casual walking tour of Venice
We had a great time. Guilia was a fantastic host and guide. It felt like we were hanging out with friends all afternoon. She took us to five amazing spots, and the history and culture that she shared along the way was also fantastic. Each spot had a food selection and a drink selection to share with us the amazing culture from Venice.
We would highly recommend this tour to others.

Beautiful City/Beautiful Day!
My family would highly recommend Noemi to anyone visiting Venice! She gave us a thorough and engaging tour of this beautiful city, answering all of or questions with thoughtful and detailed responses.
Noemi was especially patient and accomodating with our 80 year old father who has mobility issues, making sure he was comfortable throughout the tour. Her kindness, knowledge and professionalism made3 our experience truly6 memorable. Thank you Noemi!

Boat ride with interesting stops
Only go if you like boats. The boat ride was a bit choppy and fairly long, about 25 mins each way. Plus about 15 mins between Murano and Burano. Murano was a stop at a glass factory. About a 10 min demo and then 45 mins in the shop which was lovely like an art gallery. Burano was really amazing. We stopped for a snack and a cold drink and didn’t get much time to wander the streets and look at the shops. The lace demo was interesting, I could have used even more time there. The boat ride took up a good amount of time so consider that part of the experience. I would avoid if you are prone to motion sickness.

Great walking tour
Giada was truly a great and informed tour guide. Loved hearing about the history and architecture of Venice, and while they promised less than 10 people (we had 12 and 2 don’t show which means 14), but it was ok. Giada was great with taking us places slightly off the beaten path. Venice is very very busy though.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Venice is completely closed to traffic, but its maze of alleys and canals is almost impenetrable to a first-time visitor. Skip the hassle of following a map and see the A-list sights and quiet neighborhoods far from the tourist crush with a walking tour of Venice. Choose an express tour to get your bearings or a longer half- or full-day tour for a deep dive into the city’s history and culture with a private guide or a small group. For the full Venice experience, explore the city by land and water with a combination walking tour and gondola ride.
