Alessia is the best guide!
Loved our guide Alessia, so knowledgeable and so kind. The time with the glass maker should be less to allow enough time for lunch and to visit Torcello. The glass on the boats needs to be cleaned to be able to view the islands. Loved visiting Murano and Burano to see how the residents live. Great tour with Alessia - she is wonderful!

How to do Venice in 1 Day
Pretty comprehensive tour, split in 2 parts. Murano was a sales tour of the glass making factory, but Burano was quaint. Nice to walk around and get a coffee or gelato

Fantastic tour!!
This was so much fun! Even my kids had a great time seeing the glass being made and exploring Burano. Our tour guide Carrie was fantastic! She told us so much information about both places and made sure she was available for any questions or to give any suggestions for food or shopping. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Murano & Burano
Murano and Burano islands, a must to booked sites. Beautiful experience. Our guide tour, Ms Francesca Gin, the best.

Great Half Day Tour
Half day tour was the perfect amount of time to get a feel for both islands. If someone is really into Murano glass or lace making, you might want more time but for most, I think this is sufficient. Burano was a nice surprise. The town is colorful and cute. Our tour guide, Gaia, was knowledgeable and personable, sharing stories, history and answering questions with enthusiasm during the boat rides.

Highly recommended
A great trip with private boat and guide. Torcello is very green and cosy, Burano is so colorful and less busy than the main parts of Venice. Murano with it’s beautiful glass factories is also well worth visiting. The guide picked us up at the hotel and took us to the boat (witch was too big to enter the canals). We had a very good experience. Highly recommended!

Murano, Burano, Torcello Tour
This was our first time to Venice si we wanted to see Murano, Burano, and Torcello.
This was a lovely tour. It said small group, and we did end up breaking into small groups but all in all, there were over 89 people on the boat.
The glass-blowing demonstration was fun to watch in Murano. The colored buildings in Burano were beautiful and bright! The medieval feel in Torcello was true to its claim. I would do it again and I would come in the summer. It is the end of March and it is 50° F.

Really cool tour of...
Really cool tour of Murano and Burano.
The host was friendly and knowledgable, we learnt a lot and had a good time.
The highlight was the Murano glass factory visit, where we saw the glass masters creating a vase and a horse from scratch.

A wonderful morning
We had a wonderful morning visiting Morano and Burano. Everything went smoothly, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. My 8 year old son even got to help drive one of the boats.
We enjoyed watching the masters create a beautiful vase in Morano. Then, we saw some beautiful homes and enjoyed a short stroll, local cookies and lace.

Great tour
Such a great deal! We were visiting a lot of different cities in Italy and this tour helped us see such a large swath of Venice with minimal effort on our part. Gaia (spelling?) was a fantastic and friendly guide to Murano and Burano, and Marco was our expert around the city. Highly recommend!

We loved our day on the islands!
Wonderful day excursion! Not too long or too short. We enjoyed the boat ride to the islands. Each island has a very different look and feel. The glass making was much more intriguing than I thought it would be. We saw them make several items including a horse! I appreciated that they gave us some time to shop in both locations. We had a wonderful lunch sitting outside in Burano. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. This was one of the favorite activities of our trip!

When to visit

A boat trip to Burano is a must for photography buffs, who will love capturing the vibrant colors.
Venice island tours require getting on and off a boat, so confirm wheelchair and stroller accessibility ahead of time.
Burano lace, like Murano glass, is made entirely by hand and is very expensive. Don't be fooled by cheap industrial knock-offs sold at many souvenir shops.
The island's main street is lined with souvenir shops, cafés, and restaurants.
