Nathan Best Shibuya Food Tour
Nathan was awesome! It was a great tour and we enjoyed all of the cultural references he explained. The food was amazing and delicious and we are planning on going back to our first stop for dinner tonight! Thanks again and we would love to come back for another tour in the future.

Yes, this is a very...
Yes, this is a very "tourist" experience. And I was a bit worried. But it was SO much fun. Very international crowd and yet everyone had a smile on their face and was having fun. And we learned a lot about Sumo wrestling. I definitely recommend. If you want to watch a true/real sumo match, go elsewhere. If you want to learn some things about sumo, eat/drink and be entertained in the process, go here. We had a front row sofa seat and definitely had more interaction with the sumo wrestlers and emcee (and a really fun bag of gifts), but the entire venue is small so any seat is good. Enjoy!

Traditional Japanese boat with dinner cruise -Tokyo
Lovely restoration of a traditional boat used by royalty in the past Years ago only the rich could enjoy this life style. Host crew and renown Japanese musician were very informative and engaging Sadly we had bad weather but it was still a very enjoyable night

Koko was absolutely...
Koko was absolutely fantastic and made us feel super welcomed! Her English is very good and her teaching method is super simple and easy to follow.
I’m super happy we booked this (last minute btw). We also were the only ones doing the sushi making at that time so it felt private for us :)
The place is designed for these classes yet also served as a functional sushi restaurant with patrons inside.

Beautiful and so welcoming
Going to the show/dinner was a great experience for someone who is new to Japan. I enjoyed myself and love the games we played and the traditional dance we watched was beautiful! I love that the women are very social with you and you can ask them anything. I truly do appreciate the women who was with us tonight because they made it a wonderful experience!

Unforgettable experience! Highly recommend it!
I had an excellent experience with Emi's cooking lesson. From the first moment, her communication was excellent, her instructions to find the studio were spot-on, and her poise, personality and knowledge were amazing. I learnt how to cook three recipes, some tricks and alternative ingredients available in my country and we chatted over a shot of sake. Time flew, because her personality is magnetic. Do not skip this activity! It will be the highlight of your time in Tokyo!

A wonderful introduction to Japanese cuisine
This was one of the best cookery classes we have been to but it is a difficult building to locate. Aya and Hidemi were excellent instructors. The food we cooked was amazing - I couldn't believe that we cooked so much in such a short space of time. I would highly recommend this cookery class for anyone visiting Tokyo who has an interest in Japanese cuisine.

Best cooking class!
This is the second cooking class we have taken on our current Japan trip and this one is the ONE! We learned so much and had fun at this class. The food was so good. Our friends did the first class with us and not this one and we are so sad they missed this experience. I can not recommend this class enough!

You are missing out if you don't book this now!
Just fantastic. If my grandmother was Japanese and had a cooking class in the middle of Tokyo, yet in a very quiet and peaceful residential area, this would be it! Class is 10 people, very clean informative and friendly. I've taken similar courses in other cities but this was my favorite!

Mr. Hoshi an old world master
Mr. Hoshi is an amazing pottery master, even though he is so modest. Very thorough and patient teaching brought the plate maker out of my wife and the cup maker out of me. We both layered the rice bowl as well. Unfortunately, due to uncertainty in tariffs and shipping, we were jot able to take our creations home. But we will return and do this again. The class size was small and you get a lot of help, attention, and praise from Mr.Hoshi. bravo!!!

Delicious, Fun, and High Quality – A Must-Do Tokyo Food Tour!
This was one of the best food tours I have ever done. Kato was our fabulous guide. He was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Japanese food and culture. His communication before and after the tour was exceptional. We knew exactly where to meet and when, and he answered questions ahead of time. Afterward, he sent us photos and even shared extra recommendations.
The food was excellent and truly all-you-can-eat, which is rare for a food tour, especially one with this level of quality. We had takoyaki, dorayaki, and obanyaki, followed by a generous yakiniku dinner and an incredible sushi feast at a local izakaya. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well-paced. The tour also included fun stops at Daiso, Don Quijote, and Miyashita Park, which gave it a nice local feel beyond just the food.
We also appreciated seeing some sights and learning about the culture along the way, including spots like Hachiko Square, Shibuya Crossing, and Nonbei Yokocho.
This is definitely a pricier food tour, but it is worth every penny. The amount and quality of the food, thoughtful itinerary, and outstanding service made it one of the highlights of our trip.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality, memorable evening in Shibuya.

Become a Certified Samurai
I would love to give 10 stars. Jyro and his assistant got us dressed up as samurai warriors. Full costume. Sword handling was demonstrated with real swords. Next, Sword handling and combat technique was demonstrated with actual size, plastic swords which were close to the real ones. We practiced sword moves and fighting. Really. Next, with wooden sword replicas we did some actual combat. Remember when you were a kid and played sword fighting. This was the real thing.
The costumes were real.
Lots of photos were taken with our own cameras and theirs. Got a SD card with their pix.
This was an amazing experience. We were amazed at how much technique was taught and demonstrated.
I have a photo ID that shows I am a “certified” Samurai.
