Fabulous!

The experience was amazing! Enzo was a great guide and so knowledgeable and passionate about Etna, we were so pleased we chose to stick with him during our time there. The tasting was a great opportunity to experience real Sicily and the Alcantara river was stunning. I’d definitely recommend getting some water shoes for that experience but they do sell them at a small kiosk at the entrance too!

Fantastic experience.

Carmelo the tour guide was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge of the film is incredible. He even tells you why they chose the locations and little tricks they used to shoot the scene. He introduced us to the Baron at the house and when we got to Bar Vitelli there was a table waiting for us. He even shows you a clip from the film at every location on his phone. I can't thank him enough for a fabulous day and if I could have I would have done it again the next day. Thank you Carmelo for making a Godfather fan a very happy man.

Amazing experience

We had a wonderful experience on our Mount Etna tour, and much of that was thanks to our guide, Simone. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history, geology, and culture of the region. The scenery was breathtaking, and Simone ensured we had plenty of opportunities to take in the views and capture memorable photos. He was attentive, patient, and happy to answer questions. After Etna, we made a stop and had a tasting of many different local products, which was also amazing. If you're planning a visit to Mount Etna, we highly recommend this tour. A Must Do if in Sicily!

This was such a great experience in a small group! Alessandro took us to great places that were very local and not touristy at all. He was well prepared and well equipped. He was also very funny and told great stories. We got to know Mount Etna very well from him. If you can, book this tour.

Say hello to a great experience

What a great tour. So convenient as you are picked up and dropped off at your hotel. The van is roomy and air conditioned. Marcello is an amazing guide. He gives you an insight into the Godfather movie better than anyone can. The tour walks you through various scenes from the movie as you walk the same steps as they did. Such a cool experience. Marcello provides both perspectives, the director and the perspective of the Italians and their traditions. You learn about the region as well as the two villages you visit. I loved these small hilltop villages as it shines the beauty of Italy. It was a nice break away from all the hustle and bustle of Taormina. There are plenty of spots for beautiful pictures. The views are breathtaking. There is no lunch, but at the second village you can buy small bites. We bought some freshly baked bread with olives in it, so delicious. We also bought cookies that were freshly baked and olive oil. The prices were all reasonable. Marcello is Italian and can be hard to understand his English sometimes, but that’s what I loved. The true Italian experience. My only suggestion is if you haven’t watched the movie or it’s been a while since you last watched it, try to watch the movies (there are 3) before the tour. The tour and information will be more meaningful. If not, you’ll still enjoy it. The amount of time is perfect. After the tour you still have you’re whole day ahead of you. Thank you Marcello for your passion for the movie and it’s history, your sense of humor, and your amazing driving skills.

Alex had a great deal of...

Alex had a great deal of knowledge on volcanoes and Sicily he shared. It was have been great to dive more into the wider history of the islands and diversify the information. Gambino winery was excellent and they were generous with food and wine, but ren minutes to have an espresso outside after a meal and enjoy the grounds would have been appreciated. Lastly, please include the inclusions on the trip in the booking like F&B as we all packed snacks and share an itinerary with timings once we are all on board

Fantastic tour

Our entire group loved this tour. Our tour guide could not have been better, he was knowledgeable and interesting. It was a perfect combination of Godfather movie details, local mafia history and seeing a quieter side of Sicily. The two little villages were charming and the lunch was one of the best meals on our trip both for the food and stunning scenery. Memorable day!

Great tour

We had an amazing day with Ricardo. He was much more than a driver, and explained many things during the entire tour. He also helped guide us through different areas to ensure we knew where we were going before he left us with time to explore. We particularly enjoyed the archaeological park. We did that first and it was really nice to see before the crowds descended.

Great tour!

If you’ve never been to Sicily or the Mt Etna area, this is a must do tour. Omar our guide was great. We were picked up from our hotel in Taormina and drove up the mountain for one of the most amazing hikes I’ve ever done. The weather was a bit fridges and cold so we were not able to ride the cable car higher up. But we were able to hike around some of the lower craters and experience a lot of the same scenery that we would’ve seen higher up. Omar had some extra jackets, but make sure to bring good footwear and be prepared with cold weather clothing. We then made a stop and a cute little honey and olive oil shop. Delicious stuff. Then we made our way to La Gelsomina winery and were treated to a lovely antipasto platter and 4 glasses of wine. Jessica at the winery was great answering our questions and took us on a little walk through the property. Beautiful place! Highly recommend this tour!

Decent sampler of opera

I should start by saying that I'm not knowledgeable about opera. This was a perfect-length sampling of operatic songs sung by a duo. The performance was the right length, at around an hour and 15 minutes. The singers sounded good. I'd have preferred it slightly if all of the pieces were really popular. As it was, I recognized maybe half. At $36, I'm giving it 5 stars.

A perfect day in Sicily!

This was my favorite tour. Sara our guide was the best. She was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We were able to see so much. Being on the boat was amazing. We swam and saw breath taking views. We also had time to shop and eat ay a wonderful restaurant over looking the ocean. It was perfect!
