Fantastic day with Giuseppe. Here was extremely was so knowledgeable & knew exact amount of time to spend in each location We were amazed at the scenery & history with each location that Giuseppe was able to elaborate on.

The scenery, Castellon, Taormina, Isola Bella are stunning. Had a great day exploring the villages, the "special bar" and seeing Mnt Etna.

Disappointed, usually Viator does better

The operator went to the wrong port for our cruise ship. I had emailed them in advance the correct location. After calling Viator for assistance the driver and interpreter arrived about an hour after the promised time. After a short time we discovered this was transport only to our destination. The Viator web site advertised it is a “Tour” but I would not call simple transport a tour. The driver and interpreter were good at what they did but from the website I expected more.

Hello, We asked you several times to specify the city where the ship would dock, but your answer was "I don't know", you only told us the pier number of the ship without specifying the city, and that pier number on Google Maps was in Syracuse, so I sent the car to the port of Syracuse, but the ship arrived in Catania! It's not our fault if you go on a cruise without even knowing the places where the ship will stop, and honestly I don't think it's normal...!! So don't blame us for this inconvenience! Regarding the service, the driver usually take the clients around giving information about places, but you had very short time and the driver could not provide the usual service we do.

One thing you should know, is this is not a guided tour. However, it was still AMAZING! Guissipe {I hope I'm spelling that correctly} was fantastic and I really felt I was able to fully enjoy myself without feeling rushed at all. He took me to many key points, I enjoyed this very much!

Expensive taxi service is all it was

It was not a tour at all but an expensive taxi service. We were dropped off at Castemola pointed in two directions; to the right is Castemola and to the left Taormina. Taormina was down below and we spent most of our time wandering around Castemola. No tour guide, no stories about Castemola nor Taormina. We finally were dropped off in Taormina and again spent time walking On my way our own, but no tour.

We apologize for what happened, you are right! Unfortunately the driver who had to accompany you on the tour that morning was sick and we had to replace him with one who had started working with us a few days before and only deals with transfers, so he was unaware to carry out the tour properly. The alternative would have been to cancel the tour that morning and refund you the amount, but we thought that between the two alternatives, letting you go anyway, even if with an unprepared driver, would have been better. I hope you will understand our position. unfortunately these unforeseen events can happen, and we are not always prepared for the optimal solution. Regards Taxi Catania NCC

Nice journey

Armando did a great job of getting us up and down the narrow streets and sharing life in Sicily as well as historic sites. Taormina is a nice little town with a Roman amphitheater and plenty of tourist shops and cafes. Castlemole had a nice view, but not really much else up there to do.

We had a wonderful driver named Armando!! Best driver...even in a crazy downpour. Took us where we wanted to go and explained so much along the way as well. Gave us the time we wanted and never rushed us.. wanted us to enjoy the day....and we did! I recommend him highly and had a beautiful day in Sicily!,

Our tour of Taormina and Castelmola took our breath away. Our driver/guide Alex was wonderful. He got us to sights along the way and gave us great recommendations on where to go when we were on our own in both towns and also had a bonus stop in Messina. I would highly recomend this small group private tour.

Taxi but Not custom tour

On time, well presented, excellent vehicle. Driver explained while driving. Not a walking guided tour. Loved Castelmola the best. Arrive there first so not crowded. Views are the best. Taormina of course busy. If you want to go into Theater plan for possible long lines to purchase tickets. Allow time for the leisure walk through the town and viewing time in the theater. 1 1/2 -2 hrs total. Driver also took us for a driving tour through Catania. A nice bonus.
