Fabulous tour - would highly recommend

This was a fabulous day tour, with lots to see and do. Our tour guide, Isabella was fantastic, very detailed and easy to understand. We loved the sky lanterns and the Geo Park. My only suggestion is It would have been nicer if the group could have eaten lunch together at a nice restaurant since the tour took 9 hours and not much time to each. The tour provided water and the coach was very comfortable and great AC.

Great day in spite of rain

Our tour guide, Nana, was so much fun and completely flexible about our itinerary, so we had an amazing day in spite of the rain! Instead of visiting temples and shrines, Nana took us to Shifen Village to send up lanterns, and to see the Geopark which was just gorgeous. We then went to Jiufen Village and the crazy shopping area there. We got to sample so many local goodies and then had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant you have to access through a cave like passage. A day that could have been ruined by the rain, turned out to be one of our best thanks to Nana.

Perfect day trip to Pingxi area from Taipei!

Perfect day trip from Taipei to Pingxi area to see Shifen, Jiufen and Yehliu in one day. These are must see places and this tour allows all to be visited in one day from Taipei with the convenience of a driver and guide. Walter was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who kept an excellent schedule and ensured everyone was on track with timings, food, and toilet breaks, and we all had a great time. The Shifen waterfall was beautiful including the walk to it, with plenty of time to admire and take pictures. The sky lantern experience at Shifen old town was a highlight of my whole Taiwan trip, writing on the paper lantern and releasing it into the sky on the train tracks. Juifen had lots of great food shops and also the Spirited Away teahouse. Yehliu Geopark was something different with very interesting rock formations.

We are a family of five on a private tour. Tony, picked us up at our accommodation bang on time. He also communicated with us a day before the tour and gave us instruction what to bring. We didn’t feel rushed. We had been given ample time to enjoy the sceneries. Tony took us to a seafood restaurant. We didn’t have enough cash so Tony paid part of it and I paid him back after finding an ATM. This day trip is worth it. You feel relax with enough space to sit not feeling cramped. Tony treated us to Jiufen’s local delicacy of peanut ice cream wrap. It was delicious. I wish I had more. We missed the waterfall. It was our fault that we ran out of time. Tony was kind enough to compensate it, he allowed us to stop at Taipei 101 for a quick picture taking. I highly recommend booking your tour with Aviator. They are reliable.

Excellent, very informative tour - especially because Reina, our guide, was like a walking history book! Her knowledge was very impressive, as well as her people skills. Casual drive through the mountains just south of Taipei. Saw local tea fields over looking the thousand island lake. Guide was helpful, especially answering questions about the fauna. The highlight was the tea tasting with a tea master: three teas of which two were locally grown.
