A very comprehensive and informative tour of historical, political and cultural Taipei. We covered the most important sights with Winnie and Will who were both very knowledgeable and interesting

I loved this tour so much! It was a very well paced 3 hour tour about the chronological timeline of Taiwanese history. I appreciated the organization/way it was presented and having some free time at each location to look around independently, while also learning a lot from our guides Frances and Teresa. Frances and Teresa were awesome and helped ensure our tour group felt like a group of friends! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Taipei, especially on your first or second day, to get a sense of the city!

The historic walking tour was a very good experience especially for those coming to Taiwan for the first time. Luke and Mabel had a good grasp of the history of the places we visited and entertained all of our questions. The tour was also designed very well as it went through in chronological order key points in Taiwanese history.
What I didn't like: It was hard to follow the stories at certain points where the voices did not carry well depending on the venue. Mabel carried a mic but it still wasn't consistently audible. The tour isn't designed well for kids (ours were pre-teen) because it didn't provide places to sit even at the rest spots so that's a watchout for those considering to bring kids along. Other than that they liked hearing the stories so I would still recommend it -- maybe just give the kids a heads up so they're prepared.

We loved our walking tour with Eric and Mabel! This tour was a great way to see historic and important parts of Taipei and get the inside scoop from locals. They were excellent tour guides who gave us lots of context on the culture, architecture, food, religion, and history of the city. We were only in Taipei for a brief time but we learned a lot thanks to this tour!

Enjoyable and well-timed walk through the city of Taipei, touching on some of the major historical sites. Impressive and picturesque buildings and sites along the way- ticked most of my bucket list. Pleasant hosts, they speak good English, and the directions to the meeting point are clear.
