Excellent Vintage Taiwan Tour

Bessie was an excellent tour guide. This was a good tour to learn about the vintage history in that section of Taiwan so do not expect to learn a lot more about other areas of the city. You can take other tours to learn more. This is a tip based tour so there is good value. My only recommendation is that we are provided earbuds so that we can always hear what the tour guide is saying.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the neighborhoods and places we visited. Our group was very well managed and we learned a lot as well as had fun time. Highly recommend this tour !

Tour guide talked too fast. I have taken numerous “free” tours and never have I been told several times what the expected tip is. If guide or company is that worried customers won’t pay enough then charge for tour. Super tacky and turn off.

An interesting afternoon with Bessy learning about the local history and the trade around the old port. We were also introduced to some local foods and customs including the old Chinese medicine shop and pineapple cake.
