She gave us a really comprehensive explanation at every part of the experience, making sure to explain the different opinions that both North and South Koreans have on issues like reunification, and weaving in her great sense of humour at the appropriate moments. Our family of 12 enjoyed a memorable day sightseeing in beautiful Busan with our tour guide, Linda. As our cruise ship was only docked for a limited number of hours at the port, she was flexible in changing the itinerary to accommodate our schedule. She was a wealth of information, gave in-depth overviews of the culture, the sights and personable…she connected with each member of our party, including our grandchildren! She recommended a wonderful fresh seafood restaurant as we wanted to try fresh octopus and crabs for lunch and helped us with our orders. It was the best seafood lunch we’ve had. Excellent tour! A great way to get an overview of highlights of Busan. Joe was an engaging and energetic guide, answered all of our questions and ensured people were able to find what they were looking for (specific food, beauty store, photo spots). Very good communication in days leading up to tour, just know that you need to be off the ship and on the bus before 8am. Time at each stop felt adequate. Joe was even able to remember all of our names - group of 9 - and many more people on the bus.

Jacob is FIRE!

A great food tour! Jacob, our tour guide, was amazing! He brought really great energy and did a great job getting everyone to socialize together. The food itself was great! We especially liked the mung bean and pork pancakes. Delicious! I also never thought I'd eat live octopus. He later taught us a few Korean drinking games that I will definitely bring back home. One other important thing is that we were late to the meet up point due to a problem on the subway. Jacob did his best to let us know where we would be, and then later came to grab us so we could join the group. He went above and beyond for us and quickly gave us a recap and a taste of what we missed. Honestly, so blown away and so grateful that he did that! Thanks so much Jacob! Katie was a blast! My friend and I had a fantastic time on this tour. It was nice learning about the history as we road to the tour location. Katie is a very friendly guide and times the tour very well. We did not feel rushed but also didn't feel like we were there for too long. Guide brought better binoculars 👍

Joo-ee did a great job showing us around, teaching us the history of the area and keeping us on schedule. She seemed pretty rushed and stressed in the morning, but that was to secure the first tickets and shuttle of the day. The rest of the day she was relaxed and fun to be around. She went above and beyond to bring high quality binoculars for each of us to view North Korea. They were better than the high zoom kiosks on the roof! So that was awesome and very appreciated. I highly recommend this tour! And doing it in a small group is much better 👍

Fantastic Tour of Historic Seoul

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful day exploring historic Seoul! Our guide, Sookhee (Veronica), was knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly patient, especially since we somehow managed to get separated from the group more than once! She shared the fascinating history behind the royal palaces, explained Korean history in a very engaging way, and answered all of our questions. We also visited a beautiful Buddhist temple, which was one of the highlights of the tour. Sookhee took us to an excellent Korean restaurant where we enjoyed delicious traditional food. She also showed us many hidden corners and interesting details of Seoul that we would never have discovered on our own. My favorite part was the traditional market. I wandered off to explore it and ended up discovering so many hidden little shops! First, I found beautiful hats, then I stumbled across an off-price beauty store, and finally I even found the perfect Replica fragrance for my son. It turned into a fun little adventure, and I realized that getting "lost" in a traditional Seoul market is actually one of the best ways to discover the city! Thank you, Sookhee, for such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the history, culture, and charm of Seoul with an exceptional guide.
