Itinerary
After pickup from central Seoul, travel about one hour north to reach the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a 2.5-mile (4km) wide piece of land that divides North and South Korea.
Stop first in Imjingak, a park with war artifacts and artillery from the Korean conflict. Continue to the Freedom Bridge, where nearly 13,000 Korean POWs were exchanged at the end of the war.
Next up, see the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, believed to have been built by North Korea for a military invasion. Discovered in 1978, the tunnel was blocked by the South Koreans at the border’s military demarcation line. Afterward, check out artifacts and photographs from the Korean War at the DMZ Museum.
Continue by coach to the Dora Observatory, where you can use the provided binoculars to scope out North Korea. Observe a North Korean model village called Kijongdong as your guide explains the backstory of this surreal border region.
Wrap up your visit to the DMZ by passing the Unification Village, a small farming community that models the daily life of a typical South Korean farm community.
If you choose the half-day tour only, you are dropped off at City Hall in Seoul after a brief stop at a ginseng center en route. The full-day tour visits the DMZ in the morning and then makes a stop at the Majang Late Suspension Bridge or Gamaksan.

What an amazing tour! It is really interesting and informative of what happened and still sadly going on today..
My guide tour was Sadie, she is so good, nice and knowledgeable.. Easy to see that she loves her job

I recommend it especially if you like history and to know what le going on between south and north
But be ready for a couple hiking, sometimes a little intense but quite fun
Jun was excellent. Knowledgable, funny, and kept a good energy throughout the day. Would recommend!!
Our tour guide Dragon Kim is very knowledgeable and explained the area’s history in detail. Also an add on bonus that he resembles a very famous person. Very enjoyable tour.
Erica was amazing, full of knowledge, engaging and we would highly recommend her and the tour to everyone and anyone!
Our tour guide was fabulous. Amazing Grace was well-informed, excellent at making sure the large group was well taken care of and kept us on schedule. The highlight was speaking with a N.Korean defector and walking through the tunnels that put us very close to the border.

The tour was very significantly different than what I anticipated. The guide staff Hana was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was fun and nice to everyone else.

Felicity did a great job with a large group. She explained the sites and kept us on time.
Note lots of stairs, walking and hills. Felicity gave options But realize that Korea is not disability friendly.

The tour itself was okay and the Q&A with the defector was interesting. However, I felt the tour guide’s manners and sense of humour could be improved. Some of his comments towards guests came across as unnecessary and could have been handled more professionally. At times, his responses felt more dismissive than helpful.
Dora was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible experience on the DMZ tour with Yeoni Jin as our guide! From the moment we started at 7:30 AM until we got back to Seoul around 4 PM, Yeoni was professional, knowledgeable, and so approachable — she made the whole day feel personal instead of just another tour stop.
The itinerary was packed and well worth it: the suspension bridge, a talk from a North Korean defector that was honestly moving and eye-opening, the 3rd DMZ tunnel, and a stop at the Peace Park. Every stop added something different, and Yeoni's explanations gave real context and depth to what we were seeing — she clearly knows the history inside and out.
If you're looking for a DMZ tour, ask for Yeoni Jin. She made the day informative, engaging, and genuinely memorable. Highly recommend!

This tour isn't really worth it now that you cant even go to the DMZ. Tour guide was also condescending and discriminatory so that wasnt great. A couple stops were specifically designed as tourist traps to get you to waste money.
Katie went above and beyond on our tour! She is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful and informative. I felt very welcomed and had a great time! I definitely recommend booking with Katie.

Hazel was a wonderful tour guide. During travel time she struck a great balance between giving us time to rest and also telling us entertaining and informative context that improved the overall experience. Her English was natural and fluent, not stiff and script-like. From beginning to end her expertise, enthusiasm and desire for us to have a great tour experience was evident.
When my friend and I spoke with her a little while in Korean (still learners) we couldn't have asked for a more encouraging or kinder reaction.
I'm sure other tour guides can do a good job, but I, personally can only recommend Hazel🌰
