What are people saying about Sorrento

Wonderful tour
I took this tour with Vincenzo who was absolutely wonderful! It ended up being a private tour which was unexpected but lovely. Vincenzo provided a ton of history about Sorrento and pointed out areas of interest in addition to it being a food tour, which was very appreciated! He also provided great recommendations that I used over my next few days in Sorrento. The food itself was amazing—eggplant Parmesan, meatballs, gnocchi, lemon sorbet, and a variety of other lemon products. So good! Highly recommend this tour with Vincenzo both to try some amazing food and to get a good overview of Sorrento!

Great taster for the Path
I’ll start by saying we really loved this experience, we don’t drive so doing the trail another way would’ve been harder for us to get to. Meeting point is in the main square but was easy to find, we were divided into groups of 8 people and sent off with our guides. The trail itself starts from Bomerano and the route this tour takes is a circular back to the same point, with a viewpoint of Positano. The trail isn’t massively strenuous and there is a small bit of uphill walking.
I’m unsure why but when we arrived we were given a different guide to the one who drove us, we were told usually we keep the same person. So we joined our new guide who was already with an Italian couple, the entire walk this couple led the way with the guide and kept overtaking everyone to be at the front which wasn’t a problem apart from at the overlook at Positano we stopped for no more than a couple minutes to take some photos. The guide set off ahead with the couple and left us and another couple from our group behind, the trail was busy being a weekend and we got stuck behind another tour group, another guide from a different group told us to hurry up but we explained we got stuck behind a group of walkers and he admitted that our guide should’ve waited to make sure where we were. This was on the way to the shepherds hut, the other guide then proceeded to leave us and take his group via another path and we had no idea whether to follow or stick to the path our guide took which was essentially a dirt path up a hill. We completely lost sight of our guide (and he clearly hadn’t looked for us) for a few minutes up to the shepherds hut. Other than that though, it was an enjoyable experience

Saved the best experience for last
If you’re anywhere near Sorrento, do not miss the pizza-making experience at Agriturismo Primaluce.
From the moment you arrive, it feels special. The experience starts with a sour cherry tasting that sets the tone perfectly—fresh, unique, and a little unexpected in the best way. Then comes the limoncello, wine, and of course…the pizza.
After spending a full week traveling through Italy, I can honestly say this was the best pizza I had the entire trip. The difference is in the ingredients, everything is incredibly fresh. The pomodoro is vibrant and flavorful, and the mozzarella is made right there on the farm from their own cows. You can truly taste the care and authenticity in every bite.
I’m actually glad I saved this for the end of my trip—because it may have ruined pizza anywhere else for me afterward.
What makes this place even more memorable is that it’s a family-run business, and you feel that warmth throughout the entire experience. Everyone involved was welcoming, passionate, and genuinely invested in making it unforgettable.
If you’re planning a trip to Sorrento, add this to your itinerary. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience you won’t forget.

Great Experience!
This was a great experience that we highly recommend! They offered a pick up and drop off service that was a great perk. The chefs taught us all about what goes into making the dough, the cheese and how to make our own pizza. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. This is a must do if you are looking for a fun event to do while in the area.

Great cooking and learning experience
Great cooking experience in a converted convent outside of Sorrento. The chef (Michele) and hostess (Madda) were wonderful and very friendly. We learned a lot about Sorrento, southern Italy, gnocchi, tiramisu, and limoncello. A fun 4 hours! We made a meal that was enormous and delicious.

Giovanni was a great...
Giovanni was a great guide for the tour. Every spot he brought us to had great food, he taught us history about Sorrento and each of the locations we went to, and he was incredibly nice and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone going to Sorrento

Authentic taste of Italy
This is an authentic taste of Sorrento and real Italian pizza and pasta. (Also limoncello, tiramisu and wine) Everything we cooked was locally sourced either from Vincenzo’s home or nearby farms. He was patient with our family and we actually learned some skills we can now take home with us to make raviolis and pizza!! This was a truly memorable experience we won’t forget.

What’s not to love? Delicious fresh pizza, handmade by us and our family, informative fun and friendly hosts and a beautiful authentic location and atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone. All I will say is, skip breakfast and arrive hungry.

A Great Way to Spend an Afternoon/Night in Sorrento!
Chef Tony and the whole cooking class experience was wonderful! Tony was warm, wecloming, insightful, patient, and - unexpectedly - funny! The location is warm and well-adorned and just the right ambiance for both learning some great cooking secrets and enjoying a fun night with friends - existing ones or the one you meet there. I have done an Italian cooking class before (Chianti), which was good, but this experience was great. It was a tremendous way to round up a fantastic vacation to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast!

Nona Flora Pasta Class in Sorrento - one of the highlights of our trip
It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Anna made us feel like family, she was so warm and inviting and patient. We had so much fun preparing the 3 different pastas, sauces and tiramisu. We enjoyed different wines while enjoying the meals we prepared. And with the tiramisu we enjoyed the different Italian liqueurs. We made new friends in the class. We got to take our Apron's home to remember this special day.
