Enzo and his staff made this experience wonderful!! He was engaging, funny and made the time we were there enjoyable. I would definitely recommend booking this class. We learned how to make dough to make pizza and breads and how it can be used many different ways by adding different ingredients. Then we made ravioli from scratch and homemade tiramisu. All made from Enzo‘s place using his fresh and homegrown ingredients. It also included homemade red and white wine and limoncello. Then we all sat down and ate the delicious meal we made while overlooking an absolutely SPECTACULAR view.

I’d like to start off by saying that Enzo’s house was beautiful and the food tasted fantastic - HOWEVER, there was some very misleading information.
1) The class states there is a max of 15-18 people and there were 27 people in our class
2) The site fails to state we require a 20-30 minute ride to Enzo’s home, this cuts almost an hour off the class on windy roads
3) The assistants were great but did not speak much english. It would have been fine if Enzo taught us everything but there were way too many people for the class causing us to feel crammed and unable to fully learn how to prepare the meals. We expected a more intimate learning experience but instead were greeted with the assistants taking over and mixing the dough themselves with little verbal communication.
4) The food portions were decent but left us hungry still by the end.. which shouldn’t happen after a $150 cooking class.
Overall Enzo was great but there are some critics that should be taken to heart. I understand he is running a business but sometimes you must sacrifice the quantity of participants if you want the quality of the class to be high and memorable for everyone.

Wonderful experience and learned a lot from Enzo. He is such a kind person with decades of experience in the industry. I enjoyed how I actually learned about the science of cooking— why we need certain ingredients to make the dishes and how altering the technique can completely change the dish. The food was absolutely delicious, but everyone at the table was left hungry and felt like they didn’t get to eat enough. I think given the amount we paid, it would’ve been nice to get more food (we’re also Americans so we naturally have bigger appetites).
My only other thing is that we were promised the recipes and I had reached out to get them but it still been a week and a half and I have not heard back. We were told not to worry about noting the recipes, so I was really hoping that I’d receive them as promised.

So much fun!!! The recipes/instructions were easy to follow and we left with new techniques we can’t wait to try at home! We got to eat all the yumminess we made after and it was by far the best pizza (amongst other things we made) that we had while in Italy! Definitely recommend for anyone visiting!

The food was amazing! The knowledge provided was awesome! Our chef was a kind and funny guy it was a great experience! Chef made our group homemade wine to welcome us which was a sweet touch! Wish we could dine in his kitchen daily.

We had high hopes for this excursion, but ran into several issues throughout the evening. We left almost an hour after our scheduled meeting and departure time due to a bus breakdown. It happens.
We arrived at the chef's beautiful villa, where he welcomed us to a tented area overlooking the sea. Gorgeous views, cannot be beat!
The cooking class was not difficult at all, was hoping to learn more about how to make authentic pasta. We did make pasta but it was not very informative. Hospitality was wonderful, the pizza amazing, but we did not use the pizza dough we made because it would not rise in time. That was fine because the pizza served was the best we had in Italy after traveling to various cities over the past couple weeks. The evening extended an hour and 45 minutes longer than scheduled, which normally would not be an issue, but we had a very early 3:00 a.m. departure the following morning, and needed to get back to Sorrento to pick up handcrafted goods by 11:00 p.m. We made it but not without a lot of pressure and drama involved.
Lastly, four of five in our party did not feel well the following day. Lots of trips to the restroom on a hectic travel day was not a welcomed situation. Something we ate or drank on this cooking excursion had to contribute to the upset stomach issues by 80% of the family (the 5th did not drink the champagne or wine).
32 people in one cooking class made it very hard for the chef to contain the enthusiasm by this large group of strangers. With wine flowing freely and lots of fun conversation, guessing parts of the cooking education was eliminated from the itinerary.
I would recommend checking it out but beware of no regard for scheduling, and you are not going to take back a ton of knowledge to chef it up at home.

Hi, I'm sorry about the minivan mishap, unfortunately, and the beauty of the live broadcast... as for the feeling of being unwell the next day, it's the first time I've heard of these things, perhaps they overdid it a bit with the wine, given that it's a self-service store, and that evening they finished over 40 liters..In any case, you were the only ones among 32 people to experience these problems, so I think the problem was caused by something else that did not depend on us. for what we teach, I'm very proud of it, and it's true that they make me proud with the photos of the pizzas, ravioli, and tiramisu they make at home. After my experience, what can I say? I hope to have the pleasure of having you back as a guest, offered by me again.

Enzo and his sisters were amazing! We had such a wonderful time, and the food was absolutely fabulous. Being Italian, seeing a pizza oven that old was incredibly special and so fascinating. It made the whole experience even more memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic evening!

Awesome experience with chef in beautiful setting. Just do it, worth every penny. Only complaint and not chefs fault, when booking 2 months in advance we were told to meet at 5:00 then at 3:30 on the day of the event i get an email saying dont be late meet up at 4:30! The booking still said 5:00 and we made the days plans based in 5:00. Maybe if the meet up time changes give people more than an hour to adjust.
Enough gripes, the chef was awesome, the experience and scenery were worth every penny. Don’t hesitate book this experience.

I don’t have enough words to say how amazing this class was! It wasn’t just a cooking class, it was a whole experience and I would do it again and again!
Enzo was equally fun and passionate the entire time and everyone in our group said multiple times throughout the class how cool everything was! The view, the atmosphere, the staff, the food — all of it was wonderful! Will be recommending this class to everyone visiting the area for sure!

Beautiful views from the private home of the host. He was very engaging and knowledgeable. It was a fun night meeting new people, working with the pasta and pizza dough, and making lemoncello tirimasu. Everything tasted fantastic.
