What are people saying about Sorrento

Great taster for the Path
I’ll start by saying we really loved this experience, we don’t drive so doing the trail another way would’ve been harder for us to get to. Meeting point is in the main square but was easy to find, we were divided into groups of 8 people and sent off with our guides. The trail itself starts from Bomerano and the route this tour takes is a circular back to the same point, with a viewpoint of Positano. The trail isn’t massively strenuous and there is a small bit of uphill walking.
I’m unsure why but when we arrived we were given a different guide to the one who drove us, we were told usually we keep the same person. So we joined our new guide who was already with an Italian couple, the entire walk this couple led the way with the guide and kept overtaking everyone to be at the front which wasn’t a problem apart from at the overlook at Positano we stopped for no more than a couple minutes to take some photos. The guide set off ahead with the couple and left us and another couple from our group behind, the trail was busy being a weekend and we got stuck behind another tour group, another guide from a different group told us to hurry up but we explained we got stuck behind a group of walkers and he admitted that our guide should’ve waited to make sure where we were. This was on the way to the shepherds hut, the other guide then proceeded to leave us and take his group via another path and we had no idea whether to follow or stick to the path our guide took which was essentially a dirt path up a hill. We completely lost sight of our guide (and he clearly hadn’t looked for us) for a few minutes up to the shepherds hut. Other than that though, it was an enjoyable experience

Pizza School
Definitely recommend this tour. The tourist operated by a small family up in the hills outside of Sorrento. The family gave us homemade cherry juice which was made from their trees. Then onto making our own pizza dough with tomato sauce from their farm tomatoes and fresh mozzarella from their cows. We put the pizzas into the oven and got to enjoy our creations. Wine and water were served and we had a meat/cheese tray after the pizza. Homemade panacotta for dessert and ended with a shot of limoncello. Great experience.

Giovanni was a great guide for the tour. Every spot he brought us to had great food, he taught us history about Sorrento and each of the locations we went to, and he was incredibly nice and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone going to Sorrento

Authentic taste of Italy
This is an authentic taste of Sorrento and real Italian pizza and pasta. (Also limoncello, tiramisu and wine) Everything we cooked was locally sourced either from Vincenzo’s home or nearby farms. He was patient with our family and we actually learned some skills we can now take home with us to make raviolis and pizza!! This was a truly memorable experience we won’t forget.

Tamara and food tour-a great combination.
We were 2 couples from Manchester,UK spending 10 days in Sorrento.
There were around a dozen of us on this particular tour. The lovely Tamara was our guide who was fabulous, chatty, friendly and informative. We were taken to some eateries we probably would have walked past but these places were the best places to try.
We went back to 1 little pizzeria the next day down a tiny side street and had the best pizza during our entire holiday, so tasty.
A trip to a Limoncello factory with numerous samples to try and of course, we had to buy one, but not particularly expensive at all.
Tamara was a real star, we probably had lots of stories to tell each other as we were both sort of involved in the rock n roll business back in the past.
Thanks Tamara, hope to meet up with you again sometime in the future. XX

Amazing and breathtaking views and great value for your money!
Absolutely fantastic time! My partner and I arrived to the cooking class and were blown away by the cooking view and atmosphere! Great value for your money! We were very fortunate to have Chef Anna as our teacher and she was amazing! Great teacher who is patient, kind, funny and really shows you the behind scenes of Italian cooking. She is also very considerate of dietary restrictions and makes sure you feel comfortable with the different ingredients. We also enjoyed the wine served at each course and the conversations with other people around the table. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for a fun evening out but an experience that you will remember forever!

What’s not to love about making pizza in Sorrento?
This is really a great class! It was fun, informative, and what’s not to love about pizza and wine! The chef was wonderful. She gave us so many tips and tricks not to mention wonderful recipe for pizza dough; we take cooking classes and most every country we go to and honestly, this was just a lot of fun! Highly recommend

Nona Flora Pasta Class in Sorrento - one of the highlights of our trip
It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Anna made us feel like family, she was so warm and inviting and patient. We had so much fun preparing the 3 different pastas, sauces and tiramisu. We enjoyed different wines while enjoying the meals we prepared. And with the tiramisu we enjoyed the different Italian liqueurs. We made new friends in the class. We got to take our Apron's home to remember this special day.

Pazzo Cucina for our family from New York and New Jersey
Tony was an excellent teacher! Everything we made was great but my favorite was the fresh fish, pasta and tiramisu. Nico kept everything moving in the background while we cooked, drank delicious wine and ate. The kitchen space was private and comfortable. Amazing experience for my family which included my husband, mother-in-law, cousin and I. I would highly recommend this cooking class!
