A Perfect Food Tour & a Special 60th Birthday Celebration

We had an amazing food tour in Sorrento this week, and I couldn’t recommend it more. Loris was a fantastic guide who took us to authentic local places that we would never have found on our own, each serving incredible food and drinks. It was also my mum’s 60th birthday, and Loris went above and beyond to make the day really special. He even surprised her by bringing out a candle in a plate of gnocchi, which was such a thoughtful and fitting touch for Sorrento! The whole experience was relaxed, fun, and full of delicious food and local insights. If you’re visiting Sorrento and want to experience the real local food scene, this tour is a must. The entire day was exceptionally well organised, with transport included, making everything completely stress-free from start to finish. The family who welcomed us were incredibly warm, genuine, and hospitable, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Our children absolutely loved every minute of the experience. It was engaging, hands-on, and a wonderful way for them to learn while having fun. It was also the perfect escape from the busy streets of downtown Sorrento, allowing us to experience the beauty, tranquillity, and authentic charm of the countryside. If you’re visiting Sorrento, this is an absolute must-do. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the must-do experiences in all of Italy. Overall, this was a very fun experience. Antonino and his father are outstanding guides who have been leading hikes along the Path of the Gods for years. Their knowledge of the trail, local history, and the surrounding Amalfi Coast made the hike even more enjoyable. The views are stunning all throughout and the lunch stop at the Shepherd’s Hut was a great addition. We enjoyed a selection of fresh bread, vegetables, fruit, goat cheese, water, and wine while taking in the scenery. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience! Book this now! Was a great way to spend an early afternoon in Sorrento. Pick-up from town was super easy, and the hosts were so kind, helpful and funny. Watched a mozzarella-making demonstration, sampled olive oils, then had the pizza-making class. Luigi was awesome and made this a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you for a great time and great pizza! (Also appreciated the cold water and Coke!)

If you’re considering this cooking class in Sorrento, book it—you won’t regret it! This was easily one of our favorite excursions of our entire trip and an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. The transportation was seamless, the food we made was absolutely delicious, and they kept the wine, prosecco, and other drinks (along with plenty of water) flowing throughout the experience. Chef Ana and her best friend were truly the stars of the day. Their energy, kindness, patience, and passion made the class so much fun. They even had the compassion and sense of humor needed to teach my husband how to cook, which made the experience even more entertaining! They created such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that it felt like cooking with friends rather than taking a class. If you’re looking for an authentic, fun, and memorable experience in Sorrento, I can’t recommend this enough. We’d absolutely do this again the next time we’re back!

Not to be missed!

This was the perfect day with my adult daughters. From the moment they picked us up until they dropped us off everything was fun, informative, and interactive. Madda and Chef Michele took excellent care of us and made us feel like we’d known them forever. So many laughs with the 2 of them and the family of 4 who were also in our group! The food was awesome and we left not able to eat another bite. Highly recommend this experience for novice and experienced cooks alike!

Fabulous!!!

Ciro our foodie guide was excellent. He was entertaining and showed us wonderful restaurants. Loved the lemon sorbet abd lemon delight among some of the highlights. It was very fun and informative! Lovely tour by local family

We spent our first day in Sorrento with Elsa and Benedetto in their lovely village of Schiazzano in Masa Lubrense. We enjoyed a tour of the lemon farm, sampled fresh lemonade and even got to pick a lemon as our souvenir- everything is organic and so fragrant! Benedetto then took us on a crazy and fun Tuk Tuk ride to a mozzarella and olive oil demonstration and tasting. We then got to visit their family run restaurant and make our own pizza - kids loved tossing the dough- in the volcanic stone pizza oven! This family is lovely and kind and you can see the pride in their heritage and businesses shine through!

Tamara and food tour-a great combination.

We were 2 couples from Manchester,UK spending 10 days in Sorrento. There were around a dozen of us on this particular tour. The lovely Tamara was our guide who was fabulous, chatty, friendly and informative. We were taken to some eateries we probably would have walked past but these places were the best places to try. We went back to 1 little pizzeria the next day down a tiny side street and had the best pizza during our entire holiday, so tasty. A trip to a Limoncello factory with numerous samples to try and of course, we had to buy one, but not particularly expensive at all. Tamara was a real star, we probably had lots of stories to tell each other as we were both sort of involved in the rock n roll business back in the past. Thanks Tamara, hope to meet up with you again sometime in the future. XX

Nona Flora Pasta Class in Sorrento - one of the highlights of our trip

It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Anna made us feel like family, she was so warm and inviting and patient. We had so much fun preparing the 3 different pastas, sauces and tiramisu. We enjoyed different wines while enjoying the meals we prepared. And with the tiramisu we enjoyed the different Italian liqueurs. We made new friends in the class. We got to take our Apron's home to remember this special day.
