This was one of the most enjoyable things we did while we were in Italy.
Our guide Nino and his two sons were excellent. They provided a lot of great information about the area in general and specifically the areas we were hiking.
The views were absolutely incredible and the farm to table lunch was wonderful.
The farmer provided some great entertainment after lunch.
FYI - Parts of the hike can be challenging but very rewarding.
We highly recommend this experience.

Don’t need to be a pro athlete to do this hike. Even if you are afraid of heights you can easily do it. This hike was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Italy!!!! 😊

Nino was a great guide, and very knowledgeable of the area. The walk itself was very manageable (and we did the “harder” walk) and had fantastic views. Then to top it off with the Shepards lunch was perfect.

Overall, this was a very fun experience. Antonino and his father are outstanding guides who have been leading hikes along the Path of the Gods for years. Their knowledge of the trail, local history, and the surrounding Amalfi Coast made the hike even more enjoyable.
The views are stunning all throughout and the lunch stop at the Shepherd’s Hut was a great addition. We enjoyed a selection of fresh bread, vegetables, fruit, goat cheese, water, and wine while taking in the scenery.
10/10 would recommend!

Excellent day out, my nephew and I loved this hike. Antonino and Michael were fabulous guides, so knowledgeable and experienced. They were excellent hosts for our hike, passionate about the path and the region, thoughtful, friendly and very conscious of the high temperatures so made sure we were all safe. The stop at Antonio’s shepherd hut was a highlight of our trip.

If you want stunning scenery this is the trip for you. It’s not always an easy trek however there are two routes, same views but one less strenuous than the other. I did this today with my 69 year old Mum, she is active and fit for her age but obviously slower in pace. We all started together and then the group split into two, one doing the higher route and we did the lower one. The shepherd hut lunch was simple but delicious, they are so friendly and kind. A huge shout out to Monica, one of our guides who was so kind, encouraging and patient with mum. She was just lovely and so knowledge. It was a day trip to remember and I’d recommend the trip and company to you everyone.

This is a fantastic hike beautifull views and interesting insight on how people lived and worked the land, with many stops going out to take pictures, we started at a high level making our way down to a shepards hut, but on the return it was up hill all the way with many steps and no stops for rest or photos which made it very tough, I consider my self quite fit but not at speed going up hill with many steps, very hard on knees.

I’ll start by saying we really loved this experience, we don’t drive so doing the trail another way would’ve been harder for us to get to. Meeting point is in the main square but was easy to find, we were divided into groups of 8 people and sent off with our guides. The trail itself starts from Bomerano and the route this tour takes is a circular back to the same point, with a viewpoint of Positano. The trail isn’t massively strenuous and there is a small bit of uphill walking.
I’m unsure why but when we arrived we were given a different guide to the one who drove us, we were told usually we keep the same person. So we joined our new guide who was already with an Italian couple, the entire walk this couple led the way with the guide and kept overtaking everyone to be at the front which wasn’t a problem apart from at the overlook at Positano we stopped for no more than a couple minutes to take some photos. The guide set off ahead with the couple and left us and another couple from our group behind, the trail was busy being a weekend and we got stuck behind another tour group, another guide from a different group told us to hurry up but we explained we got stuck behind a group of walkers and he admitted that our guide should’ve waited to make sure where we were. This was on the way to the shepherds hut, the other guide then proceeded to leave us and take his group via another path and we had no idea whether to follow or stick to the path our guide took which was essentially a dirt path up a hill. We completely lost sight of our guide (and he clearly hadn’t looked for us) for a few minutes up to the shepherds hut. Other than that though, it was an enjoyable experience

We had the most amazing experience hiking with Tony and Daniela. I'm so glad we had this experience as it was one of the highlights of our trip to Sorrento. We were blessed with very good weather and the views were incredible, I would highly recommend it as long as you are fairly fit as it can be a little challenging in places but the hiking stick comes in very handy!

The experience was fantastic from the start to the end. The hike was less difficult then I expected but catered to multi levels of hikers so that was great. The views were breathtaking, our guide the son Nino was informative and entertaining. Lunch at the Shepard’s hut was an unexpected delight with great food and interactive music. They even catered to gluten free. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it.

I did not realize that this hike was more arduous than I anticipated. But we were able to do it, even though we’re both in our late 60’s. The views, the camaraderie with other hikers, the stop at the shepherd’s house all made for a most memorable experience. Definitely do it, you’ll never forget it.

First and foremost it was incredibly beautiful and you will finish with a strong sense of accomplishment. HOWEVER I read a ton of reviews prior to going and none of them laid out the reality. 1. You must be in AT MINIMUM moderate shape. Any review that says it is “easy” or “a light hike” is someone who hikes professionally. 2. It is steep and can be very slippery at times. 3. Can feel incredibly dangerous. 4. The bathroom at the shepherds place is not an easy situation for a woman 5. There is a lot of uphill 6.The “easier path” is not easy, it is still a challenge 7. You need and want that walking stick. It is a huge help 8. I would not do this at the height of summer. It is physically challenging and adding summer heat would have made it 10x harder. 9. The scenery is breathtaking 10. If you can physically do this, it is an incredible once in a lifetime experience 11. Wear really good sturdy footwear and know, you will get dirty. 12. Wish the guides gave more historical context 13. Enjoy yourself.

We did the Path of the Gods tour from Bomerano to Positano and back and I can not express enough what an amazing experience it was! Our tour guide, Nino, was not only very knowledgeable, funny and kind, but you could also tell he absolutely LOVES his job! In fact, this isn’t a “job” for him. He genuinely seems to find peace and contentment in the stunning surroundings. I am a lover of the outdoors and I have to say his true love and passion for what he does made my love for the outdoors even greater! His motto is to ‘be a traveller, not a tourist’ and this hike does just this! He stopped and showed us all the indigenous herbs of the area, showed us authentic shepherds with their goats, etc and we even got to have a stop for a quick lunch at one of the homes along the way - which was an added bonus we didn’t know about! This was by far our favorite tour in Italy and would 100% recommend to everyone!
This was such an amazing experience and if you are fit and like adventures this tour is for you. Nino was our tour guide and he was SUPER! In this tour you stop at the house of a shepherd and their hospitality was great.
Great organisation from the guide. Good communication before hand. 1 hour drive to the start of the walk. The walk itself was pretty easy. 3.6 miles with a few gentle climbs and descents. No great exposure, the path was wide and well maintained. The walk can be easily managed in trainers. The guide was very well informed and provided interesting information and local incite. The walk stops at a Shepard's hut for a light snack with wine and some folk singing. A tip is expected so bring some cash. The walk also paused at a second hut that sells cold drinks, again only cash. The views are spectacular but all very similar - Positano with Capri in the background. 1.5 hours of walking. 2 hours of travel. 2.5 hours chat and breaks. Overall a very pleasant stroll, with great views
It's a relatively easy walk that is enjoyable. Nino is a good guide with local knowledge.
If you are a seasoned walker the pace may be a bit too slow.
This was one of the best parts of my entire trip to Italy. The views are spectacular. Our guide was a local, born and raised, so he was packed with information and had many extra surprises for us. I would do this again. Be aware, this is not an easy hike.
This is our second time doing this tour. We had the same tour guide as before, Nino who is clearly passionate about his job, had a wealth of information and very attentive to the group as a whole - would recommend this tour, great value for money and stop at the shepherd hut was superb with great wine and food!
This tour group needs to do a better job informing people that they do not do the full hike. Had we realized that we would have arranged for a different way to the trailhead. Luckily we were able to leave the group mid tour and finish the hike on our own but this tour was not worth the price.
Outstanding hike with Antonio and Nino. We enjoyed their knowledge, patience, light lunch and stops along the way. Views were amazing!
Walking sticks are included and therefore no need to take them. Which would have been helpful to know and save us not only having to buy some but also having to find space in our luggage allowance. Would suggest people wear walking boots. This is a Hike and the path is uneven. A lot of waiting around at the start and at the end. Which again more combination wpb;d have been helpful. Overall an enjoyable experience.
Well-organized and amazing views! Once-in-a-lifetime experience! Be sure to wear good walking/hiking shoes and sunblock and bring plenty of water!
The day started with a nice mini bus ride to a quait village where the hike started. Our guide was brilliant and so informative about area and the people who live there. The hike itself was a bit challenging at times, mainly due to the heat and my short legs! One highlight was lunch at the shepherd's hut with an impromptu song! Would definitely recommend this hike, views spectacular.
The view is stunning and the trip was a really nice experience. Being used to hiking, my opinion is that the "upper" path, that we god the option to take, really is not very hard or challenging, but of course it depends on your skills. However, I would say the view from the "upper" path is significantly better. Our guides were good
I want critizise one point in the description of the tour. It says something like "....walking on the path between Bomerano and Nochelle....". This gives the impression that you walk from Bomerano to Nocelle. But, you also end up at the startingpoint in Bomerano, walking more or less the same path both ways This was very disapointing to me when I found out. It is clear that the startingpoint is Bomerano in the desciption of the tour, but it is not clear that you finish in Bomerano. If you want to walk all the way to Nocelle og Positano, you have to organise transport back to Sorrento on your own. Having read about the big troubles with public transport back to Sorrento in the afternoon (especially if the boats do not run due to weatherconditions), I decided to go for this tour anyway.
