Itinerary
Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Sorrento and head to the town's dock to meet your skipper for the boat ride over to the island of Capri. Set off with your small group, as Sorrento slowly disappears from your view. On the ride there, indulge in some snacks, such as sandwiches and beverages. Then take a short break at Marciano or Mitigliano to jump off of the boat to go swimming or snorkeling.
Once on the island, explore the coast for a while, and say arrivederci to your skipper for a while as you'll have some free time to explore Capri as you wish. During your free time, perhaps go to the famed Blue Grotto or take the chairlift up to Monte Solaro for an incredible view. Perhaps sit down for a fresh seafood lunch or stroll around the Gardens of Augustus. All food, drinks, activities and entrance fees are your own expense.
When the time comes, head back to the designated meeting spot on the dock, board your boat and relax on the journey back to Sorrento.

If I could give this experience 100 out of 10 stars, I would. Our private boat tour to Capri was the absolute highlight of our trip to Italy.
From the moment we stepped on the boat until we returned to the dock, Guido and Salvatore exceeded every expectation. They were warm, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and made us feel like honored guests rather than tourists. They shared fascinating information about the coastline and Capri while making the entire day feel effortless and relaxing.
What truly set them apart was how wonderful they were with our five-year-old daughter. They were patient, kind, and made sure she felt included and comfortable throughout the trip. That level of genuine care meant so much to our family.

The tour was excellent. We were picked up at our hotel in a shuttle bus and brought to the pier. We had 12 people in the small group. Rafael and Tony were fantastic guides. We first went to Capri and walked around for about 4 hours. We returned to the boat and did a tour of the island and grottos by boat (exterior only). We had 2 swim stops. It was a full and amazing day - and Rafael and Tony made the experience excellent! Do not hesitate - the experience was amazing (and we traveled with 2 teenagers)!

WOW, an absolutely fabulous day on our boat tour from Sorrento to Capri. We had a fabulous time on the island, but the afternoon trip around the island, swimming, and sightseeing from the water was absolutely fantastic. Our guides were amazing and we had the best time aboard!! We loved stopping to swim and 4 hours was more than enough time in Capri to shop and eat. Would definitely recommend. They also provide beverages and snacks.

My two friends and I booked for the boat trip to celebrate my graduation. We had an amazing and unforgettable experience. The pickup and drop-off was seamless. On our boat we had Rosa and the two Tony's (Antonio & Antonino). They really MADE the experience what it was and ensured we had as much fun as possible, even playing the music we requested, dancing with us on the boat, taking pictures and videos for us etc. It' too bad the weather was not ideal that day but besides for mother nature everything was PERFECT and I could not recommend this enough. Also - with just over 4 hours on the island it was such a relief as we had enough time to shop, explore AND have a lovely lunch. Thank you !

Wonderful time!!! The best crew! The tour around the island of Capri was phenomenal! Semi private bus for 22euro pp was perfecto!

Very glad we booked this excursion!! It was so convenient being picked up and dropped off right at our hotel. We had 6 couples and Tony the captain and Tony the tour guide were both amazing. We loved the up close and personal tour all the way around the island, then we had plenty of time on Capri to explore, shuttleup to Anacapri, eat lunch, do the chair lift, etc. It was a great day!

Our host/skipper was very nice and accommodating. Overall, I enjoyed swimming in the sea and most of the boat ride itself. I'm also glad that the pickup from our hotel was included and very organized.
As a part of this activity, we were dropped off in Capri to explore the island on our own for four hours before rejoining our host on the boat. I felt that this part of the experience was hectic. Quickly learned that Capri is overrated, overcrowded, and has some of the worst-looking food I've ever seen. Didn't eat while I was there. Snacks were served when we got back on the boat, but they did not have sandwiches available as advertised.

Pick up to the location was a breeze, shuttle picked us up a block away from our hotel. Sarah and Antonino were lovely, so friendly and knowledgeable. The entire experience was well organized, great vibes and amazing scenery. Perfect for a small group! 10/10 experience!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour! Our captain and assistant were wonderful they even serenaded us all with a song! The ride was very smooth and we had plenty of time on the island to explore. They gave wonderful suggestions of what to do and see and the best way to travel on the island. We ended our day with a shot of limoncello and a fun chant to cheers to a beautiful day! I would recommend this tour to anyone going to Capri!

Our guides Tony and Tony were very entertaining, and masters of navigating the very busy areas to stop and swim, as well as dock at the Marina Grande. They found the best stops to see the caves and enjoy a swim and snorkeling. Take their suggestion for the 4 hours on Capri - shuttle bus to Anacapri, fun and exhilarating ride up to the top! Hop on the chairlift, and lunch at the restaurant at summit. Chairlift and shuttle down for shopping - it was perfect amount of time for the excursion and an overall fantastic day.

Nice day. Started at 10:30 (maybe could have been a little earlier?). Had a nice tour around island with a couple of swim stops (one of the highlights). Crew were great (Guiseppe and Tony). Both were personable and engaging plus informative. They made for a great day. Only thing that I would change is maybe a little earlier, a little less time in Capri (4 hours was a lot - in my opinion) and maybe another swim stop on way home. Still had a GREAT time !

Highly recommend this boat trip to Capri. Italo and Antonio were fantastic on board, giving us lots of history about the places we were passing and were very accommodating. Italo was great when we got to Capri, making sure we were all happy with where we were going and showing us the shuttle bus.

My husband and I took the Capri tour and it was wonderful. The pickup and drop off at our hotel was great; less stress trying to figure out transportation. We had a wonderful crew on board who went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Our skipper even assisted in us in figuring out transportation while we were on the island. A lot of tours only provided a short time on land while this tour allotted 4 hours. It was a perfect amount of time to do the things we wanted! I highly recommend this tour!

I’m so glad we did a small group tour instead of the larger ferry boats. We went most of the way around the island seeing things from the sea and then landed at Marina Piccolo which is a small marina and not at all crowded. Public busses took us to Capri from the marina and from there we took another bus to Anna Capri. The chairlift sounds daunting but it’s not, we all loved the view! Then a bit of shopping and lunch and back to the marina for the boat ride back. Tony and Tony were our boat drivers and treated us to a great tour.

This boat cruise was such a fun day and the perfect start to our weeklong trip to the Amalfi Coast! The crew, Viviana and Tony (the Captain!) were great - telling jokes and entertaining us with stories throughout the day. The crew gave us great insider tips on the best ways to get around the island to maximize our time and see the sites we were interested in. We also enjoyed Giovanni's mini-tour to Anacapri - he was highly entertaining! We spent four hours in the morning on the island. This ended up working out perfectly because the island was so busy by the time we left. We then spent a couple hours cruising around Capri to see the various sea caves, Faraglioni Rocks, etc, and had time for a short swim. The water temp was perfect! Book this cruise if you can - you will meet fun people and get an experience that you can't get with larger boats!
