Top Seoul Day Trips

Wow—what a fantastic tour! It was a big day, with so much to see and do, and I truly felt like I got a great overview of Seoul. Our guide, Jenny, was amazing. She shared so much interesting information at each destination and kept everything engaging throughout the day. Her humour and wit made the experience even more enjoyable, and she made everyone feel welcome and safe. We loved Jenny!

Reese made it very enjoyable and gave clear instructions to help us enjoy the day. All the attractions were exceptional experiences. We were offered a restaurant to have lunch but food was available throughout the day in the locations we visited. We would do this experience again.

This as a great trio of sites to visit. Expect to do a lot of walking! The Garden of Morning Calm was a delight; the perfect start to the day. A mini botanical garden of sorts. Our driver and guide, Sean, was the perfect host. From helping taxi drivers navigate so we arrived on time and at the correct meeting spot, expertly driving us to each location, and taking photos of us to remember our visit, he couldn’t have been better. Sean took us to a great restaurant for Korean BBQ lunch; this was an experience! Great food! Nami Island was beautiful. Great place for kids too! The ferry ride was nice; wish I’d done the zip line. Lastly, the rail bike ride. Great way to end the day. Just the right distance and each tunnel was different and fun. I’d highly recommend. It’s a long day, but we had the best time. Great big kudos to Sean for explaining and giving us time to enjoy!

We really enjoyed our tour with Ms Sookhee who was an excellent guide. She provided much insight into the history and culture of Korea. We would have preferred more time at the museum instead of visiting the Ginseng shop which felt like it was mainly designed to sell us the product but otherwise it was very interesting day.

What an awesome, and informative day! Erica was a phenomenal guide and made the tour even better! The 3rd Tunnel was quite the workout to get down to, but worth the effort! The views of North Korea from the Dora Observatory were clear and so interesting. The stop at the suspension bridge above the reservoir was also a great addition to the day.

Suwon has an impressive fortress and old city walls well worth the trip out of the capital city of Seoul. You also get to visit a large and modern shopping centre for lunch - and this building also houses a wonderful library stretching over three floors!!

Amazing tour for a kdrama fan like me. The tour brings back scenes from my fave shows like Mr. Queen and Alchemy of Souls. Rachel (our tour guide) made the tour very note and enjoyable at the same time. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves to watch dramas.

What an amazing tour. I've booked tours through Viator many times, all previously large groups. This group was only a group of 7 and it was so much more personal. Stella was our guide. She picked us up from Namsan Yejang Station just outside of Myeongdong. I was pleasantly surprised that we went to Eobi Ice Valley and even had time carved out for lunch at a stir fried chicken restaurant outside of the Nami Island parking area, in addition to the actual itinerary of Nami Island and the Garden of Morning Calm. Being in a small group was such a game changer. Very minimal crowds - unsure if it was because it was -5C and lower or because it was a weekday, but either way it was great to enjoy these sights without the hustle and bustle of large tour groups. Overall, Stella was so informative. She spent the entire 3 hours chatting with my dad in the front seat, bless her for being patient with him. This was our first tour experience in Seoul and it was truly a great one thanks fo Stella!
