Overview

Most evening entertainment options in Seoul lean toward K-pop concerts or dialogue-heavy theater that's hard to follow without Korean. "The Painters" show works around the language barrier entirely, building large-scale recreations of works by Michelangelo, Van Gogh, and Klimt in real time on stage through painting, dance, and 3D projection. Your prebooked ticket includes a seat at Gwanghwamun Theater plus a Lotte Mart voucher to spend during your stay.
  • Easy-to-find location near Seodaemun subway station
  • Bypass the language barrier with a performance of music, dance, and art
  • Prebooking your experience guarantees your seat at the theater
  • Evening show time leaves the rest of your day free for exploring

    Good clean fun for anyone

Entertaining! Fun performers and visually beautiful media artl. I believe this show was on Asia’s Got Talent. Location a bit hard to find. If it were in a more touristy area I think they would fill the theater consistently.

Good fun with very talented young guys. They are artistic, can dance, and look good. It was an easy show to follow along to even if you don't speak Korean. Expect goofy and lighthearted humour infused throughout. The only thing I would say is that the venue was very cold, and the audience participation got a bit awkward at times.

    Outstanding show.

What a fun show and these guys are shooting talented. We LOVED it. I won't spoil it, but you'll have fun. Pay attention to which theater. They have 2.

I recently attended a Korean performance art show that completely blew my expectations away. It’s a vibrant fusion of high-energy K-pop dance routines and live painting, performed entirely by a group of incredibly talented male artists. The show is a visual spectacle from start to finish — imagine synchronized choreography, dramatic lighting, and music blending seamlessly with artistic expression. Each act was unique: one moment you're watching a dynamic dance number, and the next, you're mesmerized as the performers create large-scale paintings in real time using unconventional techniques — think paint splashes, handprints, even acrobatics! The reveal at the end of each piece was genuinely thrilling and often earned gasps and applause from the crowd. What makes this show stand out is how it bridges pop culture and fine art in an accessible, entertaining way. Whether you're a fan of K-pop, live art, or just something new and exciting, this show is a must-see. It’s creative, fun, and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. A true celebration of Korean pop culture and talent!

    K-pop meets live painting

Very family friendly and interactive. Artists are very approachable and pose for pics after the show.

    Great entertaining Show

Had very low expectations for this show, I thought it would be cheesy. I work in Hollywood and have seen every live show you can think of. The show was visually appealing, entertaining, and fun. Pleasantly surprised.

    Great show!

I was scrolling through all of the possible tours/experiences to do in seoul for awhile and, if you're like me, you've noticed many many of them are either duplicate listings or they're the same thing offered by a different party. I wanted something unique... something that wasn't like the other listings and that I could make a memory with. This show fit the bill perfectly! It was an awesome show with lots of talent and humor. If you care about family-friendly, it also works for that. Definitely recommend!

    Must Try

Entertaining evening with a fun and high energy crew painting, dancing and engaging the audience throughout the show. Crew photo op at the end of the show. Recommended!

It is the last activity booked on our last day in Seoul, it’s totally worth it. The show is creative and full of fun, energy and excitement. We really enjoyed it.

    Fun, High Energy Show

Fun, high energy show featuring 4 painters/dancers demonstrating several unique, fast paced artistic mediums and a bit of comedy.

    So much fun!

The Show was so much fun to watch!! It had music, dance, art, and comedy all together. It has a K-pop vibe to it, so teenagers would love it. The performers were super talented and charming. They engaged with the audience and even chose members to go on stage with them. I had a great time and enjoyed the show despite the toddler yelling behind me. I really enjoyed it, I would watch It again and recommend it. The performers stood outside after the show for pictures, which I thought was cool. About the Theather: This show is sold to big tour groups, so you might get trapped between a big group that knows each other and interacts. Two to three tour groups filled 98% of the theater. *****There should be an age restriction. A toddler behind us spent THE ENTIRE SHOW screaming, running, and talking NONSTOP. The seats are very close together, so he was yelling in people's ears and bagging against their seats/heads when moving around. The parents did absolutely nothing to control the child, and neither did theater personnel intervene despite guests looking back at the parents, expecting them to do something. Children should be old enough to sit on their own and control themselves since they ruin it for other guests****

    Great Show

Fun show with audience interaction, dancing, comedy and cute performers. Voucher was easy to redeem. Staff was very nice to old lady with walking Difficulty. Hard to get taxi after performance unless you have ability to call for one.

    Pick me! Pick me!

Humorous, entertaining, energetic, incredible artists with impeccable comic timing. It’s a fast-paced 80 minutes of fun.

Affordable entertainment in Seoul for a couple of hours

    Aleksei_V, Aug 2025
To make your stay in Seoul as full as possible insert a trip to this show in your plan - it is a quality and very affordable product, as the show is played 3 times a day with different lineups. Yes - it is not perfect, but it is well worth its money, as it reflects k-pop culture and at the same time does not put up a language barrier.
