The Mt. Suspension Bridge tour option requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If the required minimum is not met, we will inform you of the need to revise, change, or cancel the tour.
The itinerary and details may be adjusted in response to unexpected changes such as DMZ military schedules, traffic, or weather conditions.
No changes or refunds will be given for those who fail to arrive on time for departure, regardless of the reason.
DMZ is military area and can be closed suddenly without any notice. If it happens, alternative tour will be provided and no refunds.
Visiting the 3rd Tunnel is not recommended for those with heart conditions or other serious medical issues due to its physically demanding nature.
Tour duration time might be changed depends on site and traffic condition.

Good day out from Seoul

Jackie was an amazing tour guide. He was calm, friendly, and funny, and had good knowledge of the history of Korea, especially the war. The tour lasted most of the day, but there were well planned out break times so we never felt tired or hungry. My favourite part was the observatory tower where we could look into North Korea (no photos allowed unfortunately!). We also did the optional suspension bridge visit, which was very picturesque. The third tunnel was interesting, but when we were entering it was very busy and had to wait stooped over in parts of the tunnel for a few minutes here and there. The walk back up feels steep, but there are benches along the way if you need to rest. If you want to learn about the Korean War, or just see the countryside, I would definitely recommend doing this tour.

Jackie was our guide and he did a great job explaining the timeline and history of events that led to a North and South Korea. All of the sites were great, and the tunnel was incredible! Caution: if you are tall and have a bad back (like me) take some ibuprofen beforehand because you are bent over for most of the way in the tunnel. Would recommend this tour for history buffs and those that want to learn more about Korea. If you can get ‘Jackie the Storyteller’ it’s worth it!

Wonderful and educational trip, the family loved it! The DMZ is a special place and not many people can say they went there to experience and learn about the culture and history of the Koreas. You get an opportunity to speak to a North Korean defector which was a once in a lifetime experience my family will never forget. Jacky the Story teller gave us all the pertinent information for an overview that we will always remember! Jackie was really great about interspersing a really serious topic with humor and frankness. I appreciate that he didn’t shy away from the human cost of war while being realistic about the prospects of peace. The tour didn’t feel rushed and I learned a lot. I’m only rating 4 rather than 5 stars as the time spent in the Dora Observatory was a bit rushed and chaotic. I wish we had had the room to ourselves, rather than talking over 2 others. However, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour for anyone looking to learn more about the history of the Korean Peninsula.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable DMZ Tour with Jackie “The Story Teller” This DMZ tour was an incredible experience from start to finish. Jackie, our guide—aka “The Story Teller”—was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and kept our group organized and informed throughout the day. His storytelling brought history to life, and he was always happy to answer questions with warmth and insight. One of the most powerful parts of the tour was the discussion with the North Korean defector. Hearing firsthand accounts added a deeply human perspective to the experience—absolutely worth it and highly recommended. A couple of tips: bring your own snacks or lunch. The Korean buffet stop is brief (about 20 minutes), so having something on hand helps. We also opted to do the suspension bridge, which was stunning and well worth it, but be aware it adds about 3 hours to the tour—so plan for a long day. Overall, this tour was eye-opening, well-run, and truly memorable. Don’t miss it!

worst operator I’ve ever encountered

One of the worst tours I’ve ever encountered. We didn’t get there in time for the operator to secure the DMZ tickets. There weee tickets on the day, but we were too late. The tour took no responsibility and after waiting for 3 hours in a car parc deciding what to do next they gave us the option to return to Seoul but without getting our money back guaranteed (which is insane) or stay for an alternative trip where we won’t see anything promised but go to a cable cart to the people control zone (not DMZ) and an absolute tourist trap where you don’t see anything. I’ve asked for my money back via viator but the operator refused to pay them back. Not only that but the tour guide confronted me in front of everyone and started having a debate of why I should not get my money back since they’ve offered a really bad cable cart experience that no one wanted. The whole bus was kind of fuming and shocked by their approach and the guide became viable uncomfortable so the rest of the trip was just awkward silence. We ended up traveling for 9h and have seen the cable carts and an observation deck when there was so much fog you couldn’t see past 50m. Clearly nothing thought through, just a checking list to not give people their money back while not delivering on ANYTHING from the ticket. Still can’t believe this happened and that this is legal in Korea. stay away, once you paid you’re not guaranteed anything from this operator but the fact that your money is gone

Worst tour ever!

This tour was a total waste of my limited time in South Korea. It should have never been offered when the tour provider knew that the majority of the itinerary would be closed or could not be visited due to all of the limited tour slots already being filled by other companies. I’m deeply disappointed and wish I could get my day back.

Loved the tour a lot, Our guide SP was very enthusiastic, funny, and very informative. I especially loved the Defector Talk, an inreresting experience. Only downside for me is that you are not allowed to take pictures in the Tunnel, or on the Observstion Deck, but that is understandable since it is militarry area. Don't forget to bring your passport! (Happened to me, but SP Managed to resolve the Situation at the checkpoint😉)

This is such a great experience. However, you have to keep in mind the walk down and up the tunnel is extremely difficult and tight. Be mindful before you go! We had limited time to get lunch due to people not keeping track when we stopped at certain locations. JJ was a great guide!

Not in English and rushed!

For context I booked this tour in English with the bridge add on. The day started out good, although the bus did leave 35 minutes later than scheduled, but that is excusable as we were waiting for some late passengers. Once we arrived at our first stop the group of people who booked the bridge add on were told we were getting on another bus with another tour guide and had to wait an additional 30 minutes, also fine but odd. This next bus was not an English tour but fully in Korean so unfortunately I had no idea what was going on. The bus driver/tour guide seemed annoyed to have to accommodate non Korean passengers. Once we started getting to the actual locations in the DMZ we had a tour guide who spoke English and was extremely kind and knowledgeable but we were on the time of this other tour. Everything felt extremely rushed and we had to skip several halls and exhibits as to not miss the bus and it leave without us. There were other English speakers on the bus who were given headsets to understand what was being said but that was not offered for people on this tour unfortunately. Finally we were put on a third bus and taken to the bridge which was closed due to weather, which resulted in an over hour detour for no reason and not actually getting to see what we payed extra for. I will say, our English speaking tour guide was FANTASTIC and I have no complaints about her, but while on the bus she was unable to actually talk to us because we couldn’t interrupt the Korean tour going on at the same time. The logistics and organization of this tour was a real joke. We booked and payed for an experience we just simply did not receive. We kept catching up with our original tour who seemed to have more time at locations and wasn’t as stressed out to make the bus and it leave without them, because the rest of the group had their own bus. The only reason this isn’t getting one star is because the guide, when she could guide us, was fantastic and tried her best to make us feel comfortable despite the absolute gong show of a day! I cannot recommend this your company in good faith at all.

The trip was just ok (nothing spectacular), but when I asked whether we were going back straight away at the end of the tour, the guide confirmed. Luckily, I waited until the end to leave a review. Despite confirming we were going back, we indeed stopped at this jewellery shop which was conveniently not mentioned until after reviews were asked for. Scam attitude. Waste of our precious holiday time in Seoul.

A Fascinating Must Do Tour

This tour provides a wealth of information about the Korean War, SK and NK current status, and life in NK. The interview with NK defector, Mrs. Lee was enlightening and insightful. There was sufficient time for each of the stops with a surprise stop at the end. SP was a great tour guide full of historical information and a great help. He’s also good at wrangling wayward participants so that we remained pretty close to on time. The most intriguing part was the third tunnel. The monorail was not functioning during our visit. Very strenuous but worth the minute or two at the end of the tunnel to understand how important this find was.

Wow. What a great experience. The best part was the North Korean defectors story of her escape. She was very open about answering all our questions. Very sobering. The tour went well. Our guide, Molly, was amazing, well organized and enthusiastic. We recommend the tour.
