A great day trip from the city!
Great information from our guide (Stefan) about sights along the way! Lots of stops with clean bathrooms. Ability to get food/drinks as needed at most stops. A nice way to see multiple sites outside of city in a day. Bus was a 16 passenger van not a large bus which was great! Trip was a full 12 hours. Only recommendation would be to ask passengers to be scent free.

I chose what turned out...
I chose what turned out to be the best tour with Timberbush Tours. I’m usually someone who listens to music while travelling, but from start to finish, our guide Marita kept everyone engaged with her storytelling and insights. I was travelling solo, and she truly made it feel like a special and memorable journey. I would highly recommend anyone planning to explore Scotland to choose Timberbush and if you get the chance, go with Marita, who is an excellent guide.

Beautiful Tour with an Amazing Guide, Chazz
The locations on this tour were absolutely lovely, and Stirling Castle was a definite highlight, so impressive and 100% worth seeing. The whole day felt well planned and gave us a great mix of scenery and history.
Chazz was an incredible guide, so knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience really fun and engaging. She even made a stop so we could pet some Highland coos, which was such a special touch!
I would definitely recommend this tour, and if you get Chazz as your guide, you’re in for an amazing day 💕

Great Tour with a great guide
My husband and I had a wonderful day with Seana exploring Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan castle. We very much enjoyed all the history, stories and Scottish folklore she shared as well as the Scottish music played along the way. We highly recommend this tour! Seana, thanks very much for a great tour!

Brian and Grieg's grand day put.
It's a great day out. The Kelpies are magnificent. The boat trip on Loch Lomond was pleasant, however I think it would have been better if the sun had been shining. Stirling Castle was impressive. We had a quick stop off on the way home to admire the three bridges over the river Firth. Our driver Brian was excellent, and kept us entertained through out the journey. His knowledge of Scottish history was amazing and he imparted this to us in an entertaining way. You will not be bored, especially with his funny jokes. Grieg another staff member on board, was also a great guy, sharing his interesting historical story on the way home. The size of the group consisted of 16 people, which was really nice. We actually saw Brian's mum on the way home, so we all gave her a wave. A fun experience, and we will always remember singing the national song of Scotland on the way home, which actually sounded like the Proclaimers' 500 miles song. Uncanny.

A Perfect 5-Star Highlands Experience
Our full-day tour of the Scotland Highlands was absolutely incredible! The landscapes were breathtaking, and every stop along the way felt like something out of a postcard. From dramatic mountains to beautiful lochs, the scenery alone made the experience unforgettable.
What really made the tour special, though, were our guides, Kyle and Brian. Both of them shared their own personal stories about the region, including memories from their childhoods, which added such a unique and authentic touch to the tour. It felt less like a scripted tour and more like exploring the Highlands with locals who truly love where they live.
The banter between Kyle and Brian kept everyone laughing and made the 9-hour tour fly by. It never once felt long or tiring because they kept the energy fun and engaging the entire time.
Kyle also did a fantastic job making sure everyone was comfortable on the bus. He regularly checked in to make sure the temperature was just right so the bus was never too hot or too cold.
Brian’s knowledge of Scottish history was impressive. As we passed different landmarks, he shared fascinating stories and context about the places around us, which made the scenery even more meaningful and interesting.
Another highlight was the size of the tour. With a smaller group of about 12–16 people, it felt very personal. The guides actually took the time to get to know everyone, greeted us by name, and had real conversations throughout the day. It created a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
They also recommended a fantastic lunch spot during one of our stops, and we never felt rushed at any point during the day. The pacing of the tour was perfect.
Overall, this was an amazing experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Scotland. The guides truly made the trip memorable.
5/5 stars for both the guides and the tour!

Exceptional tour
John from Glasgow was an exceptional tour guide. His knowledge, his sense of humour, his kindness all shone through and made this one of the best tours we went on during our visit to Scotland. John went out of his way to try and find some hairy coos and gave us plenty of time for photos in each spot. His passion for Scottish History and sharing his love of the Highlands was evident and you couldn't help but also feel a lot of love for Scotland. He also gave us an amazing opportunity to get some fantastic shots at Glencoe. He also provided us with tips on capturing photos, particularly of stalker castle.
Oban was a beautiful town and the seafood there was fantastic. We visited Norries and would highly recommend.
We did tours with two tour operators and Rabbies was our favourite for their flexibility, their humour and their striving to provide the best tour for the travellers on the bus. Highly, highly recommend this tour. Thank you, John!

I had a lovely time. Jeff...
I had a lovely time. Jeff C from Glasgow was phenomenal (not to be confused with Jeff from Edinburgh, I don’t know that guy). He knew so much history which was much appreciated and he was also really funny. I really wanted to see Highland Cows and he made sure that I got to. We covered so much of the Scottish countryside I would’ve never got to see otherwise. Would 100% recommend for anyone!

Exceptional
We had an exceptional experience, our tour guides name was Craig and he was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. On the bus he was talking about really interesting facts, I’ve personally travelled Scotland 5 times before (however my Australian partner had never which is why we went on this tour), and I never knew any of the facts he stated.
He was a really safe driver and was considerate not to talk the entire bus journey, only when passing interesting sites etc.
I’ve been on many tours which come across as ‘cringe’ and I was a bit nervous when I booked this, but it massively exceeded my expectations.
There was no rushing when we stopped off, if people were late to the bus he wasn’t annoyed and waited (obviously try not to deliberately be late from me saying this!).
The tour was exactly 12 hours, we got back to Edinburgh around 7pm- 7:15pm.
Check in was promptly 6:45am, we arrived bang on this time and almost everyone was already there. Bus arrived promptly at 7am.
Couldn’t be happier honestly! The landscapes were breathtaking, and environment was positive:) highly recommend!!!

Great experience
The tour was very insightful and beautifully organized. Every stop felt meaningful, and the landscapes were absolutely stunning. Scott, our driver, made the experience very pleasant, his knowledge of Scottish history and local stories was impressive, and he shared everything with real passion. I learned so much while enjoying every moment of the trip. I 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Highlands!

An excellent day out exploring the Western Highlands
This is a long day, with a lot of ground covered. However, it is well paced and the Jacobite steam train ride in the middle of the day is a definite highlight and a comfortable ride. Ian was a great guide who was very knowledgable about the area and had many stories and local lore to add. He gave us plenty of time to explore various areas we visited, and adapted when one location was full and we couldn't park as planned. I highly recommend a fresh fish lunch in Mailag.

Would absolutely...
Would absolutely recommend this tour and the tour operators. Our driver/ guide was very helpful and kept me interested and entertained with the information that they gave us regarding each of our stops on the itinerary. Additionally, as we were the only people on our particular tour, we had a bit more flexibility in the places we stopped and managed to also fit in a few additional highlights and discover a new spot or two they had not previously seen. I had a very enjoyable day.
