Top Scotland Day Trips

We (my parents and I) booked this trip from Edinburgh as we hadn't much time in Scotland to visit the Highlands on our own. It turned out to be a superb decision! The tour was well organised with a collection very central to the city, we walked about 15 minutes from our hotel. We were absolutely on time and had the estimated stops without any real delay, as driver John gave it all on the pedal. At every stop we had a few minutes to let the view sink an and to take photos while our guide Charlotte explained every bit of history along the route.You could clearly hear her enthusiasm, as she infused her stories with little jokes and personal notes on highlights and mentionable points. Even with just a little knowledge of the English language, my parents understood quite a lot because of Charlotte's way of storytelling. For experienced English speakers, this was no problem at all, you don't need to be a native speaker to get most of it. Would highly recommend this tour for everyone who wants to get a good glance at the highlands in a fair amount of time. Behold the long hours of sitting, though. I was really glad to walk back to the hotel ;)

Full-day trip to the Highlands which are absolutely a "must see" when in Scotland especially if you are short on visit time. Tour guide Steve B was great and a wickedly skilled driver. There are some add-on experience options at Loch Ness which we chose to do, but not required.

Our Isle of Skye tour from Inverness was so beautiful. Great way to see many sights if you’re short on time or not driving yourself. Our driver and tour guide Lawrence was fantastic! He was cheerful, enthusiastic, and funny, and went out of his way to make sure we got to see special spots along the way. Thank you Lawrence!!!
