We did the tour on 6.10.2025 our tour guide was George he was very friendly knowledgeable and kept us entertained during the tour even though he was in a lot of pain with an injury. We visited Skara brae which has a cafe on site which would recommend staff friendly and the fresh sandwiches were delicious. We also went to Scapa flow and learnt about the Germans sinking a ship and the fleet had left was so informative. We also went to ring of Brodgar, Yesnaby cliffs unson chambered Cairn, standing stones of Steness. We were a bus of 7 strangers and we all had an amazing day. Would highly recommend George as tour guide.

Our guide was able to pick us up and deliver us back to the guest cottage we were staying in. My mother was using a transport chair and our guide was super helpful in getting her to where she could get to everything that she wanted to see with ease. He was amazingly knowledgeable about the area and the history.

Excellent tour of the West Mainland with Garry. Really informative and plenty of time to get a really good overview of the history of the Island.
Company was really professional, pre trip information provided, pick up point was easy and the vehicle was clean and comfortable.
Garry had fantastic knowledge historical, local and ceremonial!!
Would highly recommend this trip and tour company to anyone visiting the mainland.

Weather was poor but the guide was good. Although a small tour, the vehicle was crowded and a little difficult for people with mild mobility issues. The 10:30 start meant that you didn’t really have time to do anything else that day. Honestly, I think we would have been better off hiring a car and driving ourselves around. We did that on our final day and found it easy touring.

There were 8 of us in the van plus Ron our guide. He did a wonderful job explaining the history and the sights of Kirkwall Scotland. We visited neolithic sites dating back 5000 years as well some not so old sites including several with standing stones. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kirkwall Scotland.

our guide was so knowledgeable about most aspects of Orkney life and archeology and managed to weave in a few experiencesof his own to illustrate some of the points he was making. The minibus was comfortable and everything went according to schedule

Wspaniała wycieczka, która pozwoliła mi zwiedzić najważniejsze miejsca na wyspach. Na początek niespodzianka- nasz przewodnik zabrał nas do Yesnaby, z którego mogliśmy zobaczyć The Old Man of Hoy. Mieszkańcy wysp nazywają siebie Orkadianami, co przywodzi na myśl starożytną Arkadię- krainę szczęśliwości. I taką się wydaje Skara Brae. Trzeba tam być, by poczuć ten klimat, tę błogość płynącą z otaczających widoków. Sama osada i pobliskie kamienne kręgi zrobiły na mnie wrażenie trudne do opisania. To trzeba samemu przeżyć.
