- Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your tour's departure time.
- If you are driving, we recommend parking at the Old Town Rose Street Multi-Storey Car Park, 24 Rose St, IV1 1NQ, conveniently located next to our departure point.
- Please note: from 22nd December to 1st February 2025, Eilean Donan Castle will be closed. We will still stop at the castle for photos and access to the bridge will be available. However, the Visitor Centre and toilet facilities will be closed.

My daughter and I were visiting Scotland in early May, we decided to book a day trip to Skye. This was our absolute favorite day trip from all 4! The sites we visited were absolutely breathtaking! Our driver Willie was the best! He was funny and knowledgeable of the area history and recent events!
I highly recommend this trip to anyone!

We took this bus tour from downtown Inverness to the outermost point of Isle of sky with Alex, our amazing bus driver! He grew up on the island so he was super informative about everything we were going to see that day. He added great historical tidbits as well as his own unique humor! Really enjoyed the experience and all the little stops along the way!

I was initially hesitant to book a 12 hour tour, but this tour was well worth it! Alex was a wonderful guide, and the Isle of Skye is such a gorgeous place! The tour was well paced, which made the twelve hours absolutely fly by!

While it is a lengthy 12 excursion from Inverness to Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye and return, it is well worth it! Scenery is spectacular! Laurence (our coach driver and tour guide) was knowledgable, humourous, patient, and overall top notch!

Lawrence was a great tour guide, knowledgeable, funny, and was great about managing challenges during our tour. Be prepared for variation! Weather, crowds, wrecks on tiny highland roads can cause changes to the itinerary, but we were well taken care of and the tour made it so we saw as much as we could. Scotland in May is such a pretty experience, rain never lasted more than 15 minutes.

Had a great time touring with Alex of Timberbush Tours! We hit up a massive number of spots around Inverness and the Isle of Skye. Alex was really knowledgeable and funny, providing fantastic commentary throughout the ride, which made the travel time fly by. He gave great insider tips on how to approach every stop: where to get the best photos, where to grab food, or where the toilets are. I felt really comfortable the whole ride. I would definitely tour with Timberbush again!!

Alot of bus time so wear layers. It does take the full 12 hours so plan accordingly. Don't wear any strong scents as it close quarters most of the trip.

First off - a lovely and super responsive private tours specialist who helped me curate a 2 day tour for my family of 12 - SANDY! Shout out to Sandy who helped me adjust, gave restaurant recommendations and answered my forever questions. I felt that our tour is in good hands right at the beginning.

Long ride. Sometimes limited bathroom stops. Our driver was great! None of our issues were her fault.
Isle of Skye was amazing. Castle was really interesting. All of the stops are worth the trip.
However, we were stuck on the back row of a 19 passenger van. My wife and I were stuck in the middle 2 seats. Since the tour is 12 hours long, a significant amount of the sights are along the way without an actual stop. We were unable to see most of the things being described. At least the other two individuals were by the windows. I was stuck dead middle of the aisle and could barely catch a glimpse of anything based on the seats and people in front of me. I should have just gotten off the van when we started. I knew we were not going to enjoy the ride. IMO, the back seats should not be sold, or at least should be sold at a discount. Secondly, the first 3 rows of seats should be offered at a premium price. I would have been more than willing to pay more for a better seat. If you’re the last group on, turn around and walk off if the only seats available are the last row. My wife said 3 stars was too generous. ;)

This was one of the best experiences I have ever been on. We saw so many unique spaces with a guide who had many stories and history to back them. We learned so much, and our tour guide Mike was so kind and a great story teller.

This was hands down the best tour of our holiday. The route is spectacular and includes a good number of stops which makes it possible to engage with the views up close. Our guide and driver, Lawrence, was simply one of the best hosts we could have. He was warm, funny and completely dedicated to ensuring everyone on the bus was at ease and made the most of their trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better host!

Incredible tour! Jack S. was the perfect guide. Great stories and history along the way. Views were breathtaking. Had it all, rain, sun, hail then 2 rainbows. Two teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the tour as well. Would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was honestly an amazing experience. I traveled with my two daughters and we had so much fun hearing about the ancient stories of the isles and seeing lots of beautiful scenery. Our driver Doreen and guide Marita were both wonderful and I would 100% recommend this tour.
