Had a fantastic experience on today’s tour! Ash was an excellent guide—friendly, professional, and genuinely engaging throughout the day. He kept us entertained and made sure to highlight all the important sites, along with some hidden gems along the way. Would happily join another tour with Ash if I get the chance!

We had a fantastic day trip to the Kelpies, Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle, with stunning scenery at every stop. A big shoutout to Adam, who made the whole experience even better with his great knowledge, hilarious stories, and excellent Scottish playlist – not to mention rocking the kilt brilliantly. Highly recommend this tour for a fun and memorable day out.

We visited three very different attractions in the countryside. The trip had great pacing with just the right amount of time at each location. Loved listening to Alistair’s Scottish artist playlist on the bus.

Our family had a wonderful time exploring beautiful Scotland with tour guide Holly and her little helper Harley! Even with a very full bus of tourists, Holly was an expert at navigating and creating a fun, lively experience for everyone. What a well-spent day!

This was an awesome excursion!! The Kelpies and Stirling Castle were fantastic!! We were enthralled with the majestic beauty of the Kelpies and their place in Scottish lore. Stirling Castle didn't disappoint either! The well laid out path throughout the castle made the history more entertaining and we learned much about the history of Scotland. The trip to these two spots was filled with beautiful landscape scenery! Our guide/driver was polite, friendly and knowledgeable!

Our guide, Graham Gordon, was a big part of helping to make the tour awesome. We enjoyed his dry sense of humor. He took us to a couple extras such as seeing some hairy coos and a photo stop next to a lake up the Duke's pass road. It was a great day!

Adam was a great tour guide he was very entertaining and nothing was too much trouble he even got the whole coach to sing happy birthday to my dad who is turning 89
His jokes were true dad jokes which made them even funnier all of the places were stunning best way to see them and learn the histories he even gave us the histories of things and places along the way
We had a great time even with the rain but it’s hard to book the only 3 summer days Scotland has but that’s why we love it xx

Castle Stirling was awesome. But if you’ve seen one castle you’ve probably this one. The vistas were awesome from the battlements. It was well worth our time, if nothing else the actual palace was highlighted. Amazing.
Loch Lomond was well worth the boat tour. A quick ride around with beautiful views. A good rest and seeing where the lowlands meet the highlands.
The Kelpies were amazing. You might think they’re meh from the pictures, but up close these are pretty epic structures. Pics will not do it justice.
Lastly, I hope you get Adam. He had great stories that filled in the holes. His dad jokes are groan worthy, perfect for all of us. He was a great driver and could wend a story while weaving all these crazy roundabouts!
Thanks Timberbush, it was a great time.

Loch Lomond is such a stunning part of Scotland and the cruise there is definitely a must! We are happy you had such a good time there!
We are glad you enjoyed visiting the Kelpies, since their completion in 2014 they've been a favourite amongst tourists and locals alike.
We hope that we will see you again in the future!

Wonderful way to see more of Scotland from Edinburgh. Jaime, our narrator and driver, did a great job of giving us the history of each location along with tidbits of fun facts too. Even on a rainy day, the Kellpie’s were amazing, we enjoyed relaxing on the Loch Lomond boat ride and the Stirling Castle experience was stunning with so much history. We recommend this tour to see Scotland’s countryside, exceptional structures and even more history!

The destinations were spectacular, wear your walking shoes and maybe do some history reading before hand because our bus driver wasn’t very talkative. Good driver though. Got us there and back alive.

Gregor was fantastic! Loved his commentary, Facts and stories. It was really entertaining and made the tour better! Emma, our driver, was terrific. Got us everywhere safely and timely.
HansHermann_S, May 2026
A long day but interrupted by breaks in the right moment of time. The bus was quite cosy with 16 passengers and all the information given by the driver, Emma, was very interesting. If you dispose from knowledge about history you will even better understand
Lee_H, May 2026
Good tour with excellent tour guide. Lunch was rushed. Suggest leaving Edinburgh earlier and giving an hour and a half for lunch.
Denise_S, May 2026
This is a great tour with the perfect time (castle could have been longer as it took a bit to get started setting up the audio tour and there was a lot to see) for each event. Our guide, Gary, was very knowledgeable and gave us information all along the way. It was a long day but didn’t seem too bad with his commentary and stops.
Response from Host, Jun 2026

A long day, but good to get a sense of things, a bit rushed.
The bus driver was excellent. The bus was comfortable.
Rick_G, May 2026
George did a fantastic job. Helpful and kind and lots of extra knowledge. We enjoyed the trip immensely.
Marilyn_Z, May 2026
The Kelpies were amazing to see. The scenery is beautiful. The Castle was definitely less exhausting than Edinburgh simply due to its size. Felt a little rushed at the sites but alot was seen. Driver had interesting stories about the history of Scotland. Schedule is tight and they seemed overly concerned about the times at each stop. We received a scolding in front of everyone for being 10 minutes late returning to the bus at the Castle. We actually arrived back to the beginning 10 minutes early.!!
Steve_E, May 2026
The itinerary was great although I think they should add a stop at Falkirk Wheel, considering that the Kelties are very close by. Be warned that the 19 seat coach was way too small for 19 adults! Everyone’s knees were jammed into the seat in front. And our guide had to be reminded to turn the air on EVERY time we left a stop. It was a chilly day and only needed to have outside air come in but not until someone asked.
