Eilean Donan and Skye day trip.
Even on a rainy day, as it was today, plenty to see and hear about. Ben our driver and tour guide was excellent. He kept us well informed throughout, shared stories he had researched himself. Easy to speak too, friendly and always smiling.
As Scots who have been to Skye and surrounding area often, we chose the tour because we didn't know the history and of course we could relax rather than do the driving.
We weren't disappointed. Thanks Ben.

Learn About the Beauty & History of Scotland
This was the highlight of my Scotland visit. Graham - (just kidding!), GRAEME was our driver and tour guide. He taught us a lot about Scotland’s history - it was like listening to a storybook. Some stories had a related song he would play as we enjoyed the scenery and beauty in that moment. He even found us Highland cows. I will remember this tour for the rest of my life. Thank you.

Great sense of the highlands and guide (Nick)
Great tour of the highlands to get a sense of the area. Nick was a fantastic driver and guide. He navigated some tricky driving situations well and entertained us with helpful historical context and stories about the areas that brought them more to life. There’s a lot of time on the bus, but the day flies by, particularly with a good guide like Nick.
There is a lunch stop with a McDonalds, grocery store, and a few cafes.

Outlander Filming Locations Tour from Edinburgh
An absolute MUST for any fans of Diana Gabaldon’s OUTLANDER series. This has been on my bucket-list for some time now, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! It’s a full day’s coach tour (9hrs) which stops off at many of the locations where the TV series was filmed including: Midhope Castle (Lallybrock), Blackness Castle (Fort William), Linlithgow Palace (Wentworth Prison), Doune Castle (Castle Leoch) and the stunningly beautiful village of Culross (Crainsmuir). Our coach was relatively small (16 people), clean and fully air conditioned. Seat belts are compulsory in Scotland. Our driver Jack was absolutely incredible! A true Outlander fan and a history major to boot … so as well as getting the low-down on all things relating to the show, we also got to learn lots of other historical facts about the places we visited and passed through. Passing the Kelpies on the motorway was pretty spectacular too! Highly recommended … in fact I plan to do it all over agsin when my sister in law visits from Canada!

Scottish Highlands is a must!
So happy that we booked this tour to the Scottish Highlands! Stevie B navigated us safely on our journey while giving us great information along the way. His humor and kind manner made what could have been a very long day a truly wonderful experience for our family. We did not have many days in Edinburgh but sacrificing one city day was well worth it. The Highlands are so beautiful-don’t miss it! If you are prone to car sickness-don’t forget the Dramamine as you are on the bus for a long time.

Hairy Coos and Loch Ness
The whole day was brilliant
Our driver Steven B was lovely
Be aware of the first stop and the Hairy Coo with wicked red eyes , he was beautiful but don’t get too close
Loch Ness is beautiful do yourself a favor and do both the boat and the castle- loads of history
Oh and on the boat have the highland hot chocolate it left me warm for the rest of the day
(Whiskey and hot chocolate who’d of thought)
Perfect combination
Also take your lunch or buy a sandwich at the first stop the castle cafe was out of control
Unfortunately for us due to a car accident we couldn’t finish said tour, Steven our driver back tracked and took us to a beautiful village on the way home
Even though we didn’t see all of what was in the tour we had a brilliant day
The highlands are beautiful

Perfect day trip
This tour itinerary was exactly what I was looking for and the pacing of each stop was perfect! My family doesn't like to be rushed and have time to see the sights and also relax a bit. Stirling Castle was the highlight of our day, but the Kelpies, Loch Lommond/Luss and Falkirk Wheel were all great too! Highly recommend this tour!

Ultimate Highland Experience
If you’re visiting Inverness or the Scottish Highlands, this tour is an absolute must. With such limited time in Scotland, we wanted to experience as much as possible… and this tour exceeded every expectation. We were able to see and learn about so many of the Highlands’ most iconic sights while also gaining a deeper appreciation for Scotland’s rich history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
A huge part of what made this experience so memorable was our guide, Martin. His knowledge of Scottish history was incredibly impressive, but what truly set him apart was his personality. He was funny, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Every stop came with fascinating stories, local insights, and plenty of laughs along the way. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish.
This tour allowed us to accomplish everything we had hoped to see during our short stay, and we left feeling like we had experienced the very best of the Highlands. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day.
10/10 highly recommend this tour, and if you have the chance, absolutely request Martin. You won’t regret it! Thanks so much again Martin!!

Amazing day full of Scottish beauty! We love tour guide Holly (and her little helper Harley!)
Our family had a wonderful time exploring beautiful Scotland with tour guide Holly and her little helper Harley! Even with a very full bus of tourists, Holly was an expert at navigating and creating a fun, lively experience for everyone. What a well-spent day!

Fantastic trip to Isle of Skye
Sonia was a fantastic guide. She had the right mix of humor, storytelling and history. The beautiful scenery speaks for itself but she added her gift for storytelling which made the whole experience that much better. If I could change one thing it would be to have fewer stops but stay longer at a few like Portree and Eilean Donan Castle.

Wonderful Highland Tour from Inverness
If you are looking for a train to be part of the tour, that didn't happen due to a last-minute change from the railroad operators. HOWEVER, our tour guide, Louise, was fantastic and safely drove us around the Highlands to visit some beautiful places, and we saw everything that we would have seen on the train (which I have experienced before). She was a beast at handling the bus on those "wiggly-squiggly" roads (as she described them), and I was happy to take a break from driving on the left side of the road and let her navigate us. As a native Scot, she told us many wonderful tales of Highland traditions along the way. She even quoted poetry! I always felt safe while she was driving, and she was professional and lots of fun.

This tour was amazing, we...
This tour was amazing, we had Cara as a driver and she was phenomenal! So knowledgeable and hilarious. It wasn’t a 100% Harry Potter tour but both Cara and the train staff was absolutely incredible at pointing out every Harry Potter point of interest. Bus was also comfortable.
