Great Experience.
After a discussion with our guide Beatrice we had already done Constanta and the Black Sea on the cruise ship we had just left and being extremely creative Beatrice decided we should see some of the mountains. She took us to Snow Island and to Peles Castle (?) which we absolutely loved. We had a delicious meal in a local restaurant which she highly recommended and saw the monastery’s which we found very interesting. We found that Beatrice’s knowledge of the area and Bucharest was extensive, she was delightful company and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day in her company. I could not recommend her more highly.

Highly recommend booking this tour!
We enjoyed this tour despite the rainy weather. Communication from the moment we booked was prompt and clear. Our tour guide Mario was very accommodating and picked us up from our hotel that was further from the meet up point. He was very knowledgeable and explained all the history of the places we were visiting while on route to the locations. Mario gave us tips ahead of time on which ticket time slots to purchase for Peles Castle to ensure we have it before the start of the trip. Highly recommend coming with this tour group to allow skipping of lines and a personal guide for the Peles castle tour. We heard people that tried to go solo and waited more than 2 hours at the queue. We had plenty time for all the locations we visited, and having Mario as a guide and driver made this multi-destination tour pleasant and easy! Totally recommend Mario and his company for your visit to Brasov!

Rich Cultural Experience
Great day trip to northern Bulgaria out of Bucharest! Our visit enhanced our vacation and provided a more nuanced understanding of the region, including 20th century history and local interpretation of the communist era. Be prepared for several hours of driving, including some stop and go. Bathroom stops were available as needed. We strongly considered driving this ourselves, something we have done in other European countries, and at the end of the day we were very glad we went with a driver. Seban Riga was our guide and took incredibly good care of us, enriching the journey with both historical facts and local perspectives. He was energetic, engaging, and thoughtful to ensure the trip exceeded all of our expectations. It is wise to have some Euros on hand, as the modest entrance fees to some of the sites may not take cards. We also paid gratuity in Euro, and could have paid in Lei.

Our guide, Charlie, was...
Our guide, Charlie, was super personable and informative! We had a wonderful time exploring Peles, Bran, and Rasnov. The timing was great with plenty of time to stop for a coffee and breakfast. We also had time for a wonderful lunch with a view of Bran castle. We did a lot of walking so definitely wear comfortable shoes and bring some cash for vendors and shops. So glad we did this tour-a highlight of our trip!

Discovery Transylvania
Traian was very knowledgeable and took great care of us on our tour. He ensured we were given important information on the history and culture of Romania and in particular, the region of Transylvania. We were picked up promptly in a convenient location and travelled in comfortable transport, spotless inside and out.
His expertise in guiding us through the 3 castle visit was invaluable in making our trip one to remember. I could not recommend it enough! He also had a great rapport with the secretaries of the places we visited, gaining us private access ahead of the queues to make our trip extra special.
Excellent opportunities to stand and wonder at some of the region's most beautiful sites, Traian also took the time to take our pictures to ensure we kept the best memories of our time there.
An excellent service, 5 stars!!

Christmas Weekend Away
We chose Brasov as a weekend adventure for Christmas to visit the markets but on the Sunday morning wanted to do a tour to Bran Castle and to the Bear Sancturary. I’d done loads of research on the different tours and settled on this one. It didn’t disappoint at all! Alin got in touch the day before to double check a pick up point right next to our hotel. Alin was punctual, friendly and had lots of information/facts to share whilst driving to the bear sanctuary. He also gave some great tips for when we visited both places. we were picked up around 8:30 and were back around 2pm’ish. It was quieter because we came in December but didn’t skip anything out.
The bear sanctuary was the highlight and something you should visit and support if you can! The tour has its heartbreaking moments, explaining why the bears are in the sanctuary, but you spirits are lifted when you see all the hard work and dedication from the team working there! You learn so much and get to see the bears up close safely, before they head back into their vast habitat.
Alin even took us at the end, to a great view point overlooking Brasov for some more facts and to take pics, before dropping us off.
I fully recommend this tour if you’re visiting and well worth the cost and experience! Alin is a great guide and driver!

Great tour and the guide is willing to customize
This is a great tour if you have limited time in Romania.
As I have heard a lot about Sighisoara and Sibiu I felt like I had to see both places and I highly recommend the tour if this is the case.
It would be more relaxing only seeing one if you don’t need to see both.

Fantastic Day Out - exhausting but worth it!
Fabulous trip and a very entertaining guide. I loved being on a minibus rather than a coach.
We had a toilet stop at a garage which was a nightmare because you have to buy something to use the toilet and the place was absolutely packed. I could happily have skipped this.
The monastery in the rock face was so interesting and the more modern monastery at ground level was beautiful. Please note that the climb up to the original Rock Monastery is steep and the ground is very uneven. Definitely worth going though.
Veliko Tarnovo was also beautiful. The scenery was breathtaking. We had an enjoyable walk along the fortress walls and up to the Church and then another steep walk uphill to a gorgeous paved street of shops selling all sorts of tourist treasures and hand made crafts.
We couldn’t do the last of our three stops because the road had been closed but, to be honest, we were exhausted by then anyway. I would have preferred to have longer at Veliko Tarnovo and not had to rush.

An Excellent Way to See Transylvania!
Alex was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, accommodating and very kind. His sense of humor lightened the mood and made historical facts even more interesting! His restaurant recommendations were spot on, delicious, quick service & reasonably priced.I highly recommend taking this 2 day tour of Transylvania with Alex. Great Job Alex! Thank you!

Highly recommend
Toured with Florin, who was exceptionally knowledgeable. Castle Bran has a decent inclined path to reach the castle. Pelles Palace was the most beautiful castle I have toured ever. It is a must see and well worth the time. Interesting to see both in the same day. Florin did a flawless job of translating between two languages, but actually speaks four. He made our day entertaining and informative. We enjoyed this day trip very much. Also, the tour takes you on a winding mountain road with some start and stop traffic for parts of it. I took some dramamine-it would have not been pretty without it! Just a heads up to people who may have motion sickness!

Bucovina Monasteries Tour
A great day exploring the Bucovina monasteries. Sebastian was a very knowledgeable & accommodating guide & driver. The information shared at each stop made the day so much more memorable than just our photos. The lunch stop for local cuisine was the perfect opportunity for us to try some new Romanian dishes. The countryside is beautiful. Highly recommend taking the opportunity explore this region (or further afar) with Sebastian. Thanks for a most wonderful day.

One of the few places where you can see happy bears
Great place to see bears! They are a sanctuary helping bears and also educating people on the struggles of captive bears in Romania.
On our visit we've seen 25-30 different bears of different ages from little ones to full grown massive ones as well as deer, wolfs, and a fox.
