Tudor was an excellent guide. Not only is he passionate about his country, which I love he is also very knowledgeable and able to explain everything in an easy to digest way. He cares about the people traveling with him and is very safety conscious. I'd 100% go on one of his tours again if I get the opportunity!

Our tour guide Alin was great. Very professional but also fun and knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the country from his perspective and understanding the history he shared on each part of our tour. The Bear Sanctuary was a nice surprise. We are thankful for the memorable day. Highly recommend!

The whole trip was very interesting, and Andrei, our guide, was both informative and helpful. It was clear that he genuinely enjoys his job, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Although it was a long day, I would have preferred the final part of the tour to be scheduled on a separate day. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a wonderful day overall.

The driver is on a schedule so you must be on time meeting outside by the taxis on the boulevard by Hotel Bucharest. They stop 15 minutes on the way there and also on the return (2 hour drive each way).They only play a short 2 minute video so you need to read about the mine when you get there. Bring a jacket it’s about 50 degrees inside you will get cold. There is a gift shop, interesting salt sculptures, tools that they used in the mine, a cafe, large children’s play area, and some games like ping pong, pool to play. It takes about 10 minutes to drive you down into the mine which is quite spectacular to see and is very large. You can do the tour in under 90 minutes which leaves you time to get back to the van for the return. There is also a cafe outside if you need a place afterwards. Very worthwhile to see it.

To anyone not sure whether they should spend the extra money on a private tour, I would say absolutely yes! Dinu, our guide was absolutely fantastic. We arrived to Brasov by train from Budapest and had to leave again for a very specific train to continue to Bucharest that night. He monitored our train's progress and was there to greet us at the station as we arrived and he made sure that we were back in time for our evening train too. At every step, he was happy to customise our tour to our liking including taking us to a couple of food spots to try out some traditional dishes. The tour has quite a bit of driving, but there was never an awkward moment between him telling us about the history of Romania and the castles, answering our questions and just sharing stories from our lives. He offered to take lots of pictures of us and patiently waited (and joined!) when we wanted to say hi to the local cats 😅 Dinu made sure that our tour was a memory that will last forever and we wish him all the best.

We had a fantastic day exploring several beautiful medieval Saxon villages, and the whole experience was absolutely delightful. The weather was perfect, the scenery was stunning, and our guide, Charlie, made everything even better with his great sense of humor and his clear, engaging explanations. We had a wonderful traditional lunch in Viscri — the food was incredibly delicious — and the pace of the tour was relaxed and comfortable. With only two couples in the group, we had plenty of time to explore each place, enjoy the atmosphere, and even sit down for a coffee without any rush. It was a truly lovely day, and we left feeling enchanted by the region. We highly recommend this tour and our guide, Charlie.

Bianca is an excellent guide. She was on time, very polite and engaging. I was the only person in the tour and I am a photographer… So, she was able to take time to help me get some great photos and take extra time when needed. Extremely knowledgeable and we had great conversation about the historical past and current events. For me this was about immersive as a tour gets. Of course the locations were very beautiful. I would definitely hire this company again and ask for Bianca as my guide. Thank you
