An excellent trip with our guide Llona. Picked up on time at the hotel, and then the long drive to the Alba fortress. Spent some time there with the very knowledgebale llona. Had refreshments there. Then on the way back stopped for lunch at the beautiful village and then on to the salt mine. However when we reached Salina Turda it was already 3:30 pm but we did manage to spend time there. We did not have time for the boat ride as there was a long queue.
Overall a nice trip with a nice friendly guide who was very accommodating to all our requests

The day started off with a prompt pick up from my Hotel. Roxana was my guide and the day was such a pleasure! The amount of knowledge Roxana shared was great! A great overview of the History of Romania while driving, and deep information of each location visited. I highly recommend if you have the time. Bring a Camera as each site has soooo much to take in!!!!

I had Jeda not sure how to spell! as my tour guide. She was outstanding!
Because I had a private tour, I was the only one with Jeda. She was prompt, professional, friendly. I must have asked a million questions about Romania not just about Turda Salina, or Remitea or Alba Iulia but about Romania's history, communism, gypsies, culture, food, lifestyle, relationships, family life, vlad the impaler, dracula, everything I ever wanted to know and she was more than willing to answer and educate me. Was just incredible. She was ofcourse also extremely knowledgable about the sights that we saw. Highly recommended!

One of the best day trips I've ever been on! I have not been able to stop talking about it since my return home. My guide Ilona was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about the sites we visited and the history of Transylvania. Ilona picked me up on time at the hotel and the trip lasted roughly 9.5 hours. It had been 14 years since I visited the Turda salt mine and I was impressed with the renovations and addition of the amusement park. Alba Iulia was by far my favorite place: the history of the location and beautifully-restored buildings and fortress were a real treat! A shame it was Monday and a few museums on site were closed. The village of Rimitea was very quiet due to it being a Monday? We weren't sure but the architecture of the place was certainly interesting. Besides taking me to one of her favorite Hungarian restaurants, Ilona also gave me great pointers for places to eat and buy souvenirs during my stay in Romania. I would certainly book another tour through this company during my next stay in Romania!

A fantastic tour through an incredibly beautiful part of the world! The tour guide Loredana and driver Alex were both extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating even though I was quite sick. Loredana was a fountain of information and loved explaining the history of all the places we to as well as ones we didn't. Turda is absolutely amazing, and Rimetea and Alba Iulia are gorgeous! I couldn't recommend this tour enough. It was great having tour guides who were so passionate about their giving me a glimpse of their beautiful country. Thank you!

The Turda Salt Mine was amazing, definitely worth seeing - much more than we had expected. The fortress was OK, I think included because it was in the area. Our tour guide, Ilona, was great - on time picking us up at our hotel, very knowledgable, spoke English very well, and quite pleasant.

This tour was amazing. The salt mine was definitely the highlight of the day and the tour is worth going on just for that. My guide was amazing and super knowledgeable about the areas we visited. She went out of the way to help me find good souvenirs and even showed me a few extra things not originally included in the tour since we had some extra time. She showed me all the good areas to take pictures as well. I feel this tour gives you a great overview of the surrounding areas of Cluj and teaches you much more about the history and life in this area.
