Visit both Peles Castle and Bran Castle (aka Dracula's castle) in just one day with this small-group tour from Bucharest. - Please note that entrance fees for Peles Castle and Bran Castle are not included in the tour price
- Please know that Peles Castle is closed to the public on Mondays through the year and on Tuesdays from August 1st 2024 to May 1st 2025. Should your tour fall within this period, the itinerary will be adjusted to include an exterior view of Peles Castle, with extended visits to Bran Castle and the city of Brasov. Please note that the itinerary may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as changes to castle policies.

- Children under 7 years old are not allowed.
- Please refrain from consuming food, hot beverages, alcohol or smoking within the vehicle
- Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the tour in order to participate
- IMPORTANT! 1) If you want to visit Peles Castle please buy tickets in advance only for the time slot (10:00-11:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-11:00) because there is a maximum capacity of 500 tickets per time slot. 2) If you have your trip on Friday, Saturday or Sunday please check the availability of the time slot in advance. 3) If you made the booking but the tickets are already sold out you can buy tickets to Pelisor castle, which is also worth to be visited. The time slot that you have to choose here is (10:00-12:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-12:00) 4) The guided tour will be just in Peles Castle. 5) PLEASE DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR OTHER TIME SLOTS THAN THE ONE MENTIONED ABOVE! 6) The pick up point is ONLY at University Square at 7 AM, you will receive a message with all the details regarding your guide phone number and bus plate number one day in advance.

The experience gives a chance to see more than Bucharest in a single day. The town of Brasov is particularly beautiful.

The tour guide doesn't really gives you his attention. You have to either know how to navigate or have someone who knows the city. During Christmas they don't give enough time to visit the castles and the city and everything happens in a rush. So if you wanna see everything you don't have time for food or shopping. During spring the trip is better because the program is more well organised.

The guide was direct and at times came across as rude. Whilst some elements were outside of the control of the guide it took over 90 minutes to get into Peles Castle, it was VERY disorganised and it was a free for all regardless of where your group was, we were criticised by the guide for being too far away from the entrance when everyone else had been pushing in. Our friends had to tell him that we could not get in and to not start the tour as he would never take a head count! There were improvements at the castle which we were not told of in advance of getting on the bus. Toilets are non-existant and there are non on the bus, where there was a toilet the queue were large and the guide would get frustrated if you were late back to the meeting point, it was a no win situation all day!!!
Draculas Castle was very touristy and busy.
The 20 minute walk about Brasov medieval town didn't do it justice and there was no time to rest, explore or sit down to absorb the atmosphere of this beautiful town.
The coach driver was dangerous, overtaking on corners and at speed. Whilst the coach did have seat belts the passengers had to comment to the guide about the drivers driving and how unsafe we all felt.
This tour needs some improvements. Whilst the sights are impressive we had very little time to enjoy them due to the distance you have to travel.

My experience was terrible!!!
They cancelled the tour because the bus didn't started.
No plan B, what a disappointment!!!
Eastern European Experience is giving you a bad name.
The answer was "It's not my fault"
What kind of company give you this answer???
I had only that day to finish my trip and fly the next to the USA.
I'm extremely disappointed and they even have not refunded my my money.

It was a long day mostly sitting in terrible traffic which was worse than my expectation. The guide was a nice person, but he wasn't very clear with his instructions and stories so I personally felt that I missed out a fair amount of details. We spent just one hour at Peles, about 1.5 hours in Bran, and less than an hour in Brasov, and didn't get back to the hotel till 9pm. With a full coach of people, much time was wasted waiting for people coming back from toilet break as the ones in Peles Castle were out of order and the guide didn't know.
However, we paid a fair price for the day. The tickets to the 2 castles were not included but you can pay by credit card online in the coach. Touristy Bran Castle, privately run, was more expensive than Peles but it was good to see them both to tick a box.

Dana was such an amazing and funny tour guild! I really appreciate all the information she gave during our trip. I hope she is your tour guild! :) Also, the driver was awesome as well, taking us through busy and narrow roads. Keep in mind that this tour did run about 14 hours.

It is an express tour since there is too much to see just in one day. But it is worth it ! Specially for those who don't have too much time as me. The time in Bran and Brașov is enough, but I would stay longer in Peleas (with the possibility of visiting the 2nd floor).
Concerning the agency, everything was as planned, they communicate well and the guide Marius was wonderful!! I really recommend it!

We had a good tour guide and visited several beautiful sights. However, this is not a small-group tour as we were in a bus with 30+ people. The tour operator also refused to pick up from my hotel which was in the drop-down list so I had to take a bus to get to the pick-up location.

The tour operator never picked our group up at the JW Marriott grand Hotel in Bucharest. We had to hire a private driver to take us on the trip and discussion with the tour operator. They were very curt and rude to this point. I’ve had such a good experience with Via tour used and recommended them all the time if we don’t see a complete refund for our trip along with our friends Anderson and Brocato’s . It’ll probably be our last time.

Our guide, Vlad, was exceptional and extremely knowledgeable and informative on our tour. He kept everyone in check,sent us all whats app messages the evening before and so made the day run smoothly and comfortable.The coach was clean and well maintained,and the driver drove well.Bran castle was extremely busy with long queues as it was Halloween week, but Vlad had given a history of the castle during the journey.It is a good trip to book and well worth the money

The description is off - instead of a small group of max 8, it was a huge bus of 40! And instead of hotel pick up, they informed you a day before of the changed location. I'm not sure who is at fault, the guide was not aware of this as big group+specific pick up were their modus operandi. The good thing is Alex the tour guide was patience and good, weather was extremely nice and we had good traffic coming and going.

This is a long day tour and the traffic conditions can make it longer. We loved Peles castle and Brasov but felt that Dracula's Castle was over rated and over commercialized. Certainly in our opinion Dracula's Castle is NOT a must see. In saying that the tour was good and the guide very knowledgeable , with good English.

The tour was excellent. Vlad the tour guide made a group with all of us at WhatsUpp the prvious day and send us all the details, including pickup location. He did his best to avoid the crowed period at the Dracula Castle and re-schedule the tour to visit first Brasov and avoid the the Castle's rush hour. We felt comfortable with him and he is a very good proffesional .
Tips : Be aware of the exact pickup locations at the morning; check the weather and take an umbrella with you as the visiting locations have totally different weather than Bucharest.

Really great day trip. Vlad was really helpful throughout the trip making it easier to explore and return to the meeting point. Highlight was exploring Brasov as it was beautiful. It was a long time on the bus but it was comfortable, had usb chargers and stopped regularly enough to break it up ☺️
