Don't Miss This Excursion
We were provided a private SUV with a driver, who was flexible to add a stop at the Chocolate Factory, even though it was not listed on the excursion. She was very friendly, informative, helpful and mindful of the time for each activity and the return to the ship. The Monkeys and Sloth experience was terrific. It is a once-in-a- lifetime experience to be so close and personal to the animals. The private beach club we were taken to next, Brady's Cay, was perfect; white sandy beaches, plenty of lounge chairs with mats and umbrellas, full bar and lunch available, waiter tended to us at our beach chairs, cocktails served in a pineapple if desired, Caribbean music playing, and clean bathroom and shower facilities. Finally, we were taken on a boat for snorkeling. The boat and snorkeling staff were very nice and concerned with our safety. The snorkeling equipment was modern, new, and clean. There was not much to see at the reef, but the boat ride, the water, and the experience was still very enjoyable.

Great time in Roatan
My family had a great time with Jiml. He was knowledgeable about the area, friendly and kept us on ships time! I would prefer not doing the chocolate tasting to have more beach time. It's really just a small chocolate store, but otherwise a good experience. I recommend.

Monkeys, sloths and birds, OH my!
We were on the Carnival Jubilee cruise ship. Our pick up point was outside the port. It is quite a walk and it was very hot and humid. Hopefully someday the operator will be allowed inside the port gates. Our driver was Joe. He was a very kind man and got us to the animal sanctuary, about 15-20 minutes away. We waited a little bit for our group to be called. It was entertaining watching the chickens, lizards and monkeys close by. Kelab was our tour guide. He was awesome! He took us to see the sloths 🦥 first. I thought the description said we could pet the sloths but we were not able to do that. There was a law passed that you can't hold them. We got to see one sloth that was actually very active. So adorable! We then went into a monkey enclosure. We formed a circle and the monkeys played duck duck goose as they around the circle on our heads! LOL Kelab poured a little water into our hands and monkeys drank out of our hands. The monkeys checked our pockets for anything. Fortunately, we had empty pockets. We were with the monkeys a really good amount of time. So adorable and cute! Then we went to the bird area and great big Macaws landed on our heads along with Amazon parrots. We had ample time with the birds as well. There was no rush. It was hot and humid but very enjoyable. If you are an animal lover this was a great excursion.
After the animal sanctuary, Joe took us to a private area where we caught a water shuttle that took us over to Brady's Cay (jkey). Beautiful white sand beaches and beautifu differentl blue clear water! It was a great day!

Must do in Roatan
Darren our driver was genuinely one of the best drivers we’ve met across many countries. He was not just punctual, but he was personable, gracious and thoughtful. Our guides, Austin and Omarion were also five star class service providers. They make sure that we were comfortable doing all the snorkeling activities, explained what we were looking at and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a wonderful time.

Great beach resort.
The resort was clean, the staff was very helpful and spoke English. The beach had white clean sands, with vendors selling fruits, massages and activities. Our driver Kenitza spoke English very well was polite and helpful. The price for what you get here is 100% worthwhile.

The animal park was...
The animal park was wonderful, it was very busy but we all got time with the Parrots, Monkeys and Sloths.
West Beach was also wonderful, a beautiful beach with warm, clear waters. Again it was very busy but this was to be expected on port days.
Our guide Kyler was very personable, helpful and let us run the day to our own schedule.

Well worth the time and money.
This was a wonderful trip. We had an amazing personal guide who was very patient and attentive and made sure that it was fantastic. I can’t say enough about Johny and how helpful he was and how much fun we had on every part of this adventure. It was our best excursion on our trip.

Fun for the whole family!
Our family absolutely loved the Roatán Anderson Zip Line and Monkey Tour! This was easily the most fun excursion of our trip so far.
The zip lining was a blast, and getting up close with the monkeys and other animals made the experience even better. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made sure our family had a great time from start to finish.
If you’re visiting Roatán and looking for an excursion that’s adventurous, fun, and great for the whole family, we highly recommend Anderson’s. Definitely one of the highlights of our vacation!

Fernando was amazing
We had a great time in Roatan, Fernando was our driver and he was really great. He spoke English really well and offered a lot of insightful information about the island. I would recommend Victor Bodden and specifically Fernando if you ever find yourself in Roatan

Incredible Island tour
Vincent was a fantastic, energetic tour guide. He provided us with a complete tour of the island, which we loved. We had plenty of opportunities for photos. We were able to interact with macaws and capuchin monkeys as well as several sloths. Although we weren’t able to hold the sloths, we were able to get really close and take photos with them. We then went to a chocolate factory and learned about the process from cocoa pods to chocolate bars. The chocolate was so good and we purchased mini bars in a variety of flavors. Our next stop was a rum factory for rum tasting. I wasn’t a fan of the rum, but it was a beautiful place which had what I considered to be one of the best views in all of Roatan. Vincent ended our tour with photos in front of the iconic Roatan sign. I highly recommend this tour and request Vincent!

It was so nice to get out...
It was so nice to get out of "Cruise world" and into the real world with a local who could support our day's adventure. Michael picked up immediately on the types of experiences we wanted to have with our day for our family and young kids. He provided exceptional suggestions, and helped make it all work together seamlessly. We also learned a lot about life on Roatan.

Best Snorkeling Trip Ever
We enjoyed our boat and snorkeling excursion in the West End of Roatán so much! We explored the Blue Channel, the Aquarium and Turtle Crossing. Right from the start we had a great experience. We signed up through Viator and immediately got a response from Dani the guide coordinator.
He was very responsive and stayed in communication with us throughout the entire process. He sent us all the information we needed to meet our driver when we arrived in Roatán and disembarked from our cruise ship.
Our driver Daysi was there at the cruise ship port waiting to pick us up and she was very friendly and talkative. She told us all about the island and life on Roatán as she drove us over to the West End.
We got onto the boat and headed out into the bay. All three snorkel spots were amazing! So many fish and other coral reef wildlife were everywhere. The water was warm and the snorkel gear was solid and didn't leak or get too foggy.
My wife and I had the best snorkeling experience of our lives in Roatán and we are already planning our return to that island. When we finally get back there we will be booking this exact same snorkel excursion with Dani and Deysi as well as the two boat operators, who were also fantastic!
This was a 5-star experience and we would highly recommend you book it if you're able to snorkel while on Roatán. Cheers!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Even those pressed for time will be impressed with Anchorage’s half-day tours. The city makes a fabulous home base for adventure in any direction: To the north, visitors can explore rivers and waterfalls; to the east, mountains and Alaska’s most well-known state park; to the south, wildlife sanctuaries and famous scenic overlooks; to the west, islands, whale-watching, and more. Half-day tours from Anchorage—be it by bus, car, boat, or kayak—are just enough time to sample the city’s greatest wonders, and they are indeed great.
