What are people saying about Roatan

Cheched off a bucket list item
My husband and I truly enjoyed the Sloth and Monkey experience. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. We finished off our experience at the West End beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable. I won't lie, I was a little leery about booking with a company other than MSC. This was such a great experience that I will be booking through Viator for all future cruises. The cost was much lower, and our experience was much better and less crowded than on the cruise excursions.

Family fun times
Really great time. We exited ship, walked out of port and found Roatan Ocean Adventures easily. We were assigned a private driver, Norma. She was able to share some Honduras history while otw to the sanctuary. Great time with the sloths, monkeys and parrots. We then went to a private beach. Was able to be there as long as we wanted too. Norma offered to drive us to local markets or restaurants. Overall, this was a great experience for a fraction of cruise line prices.

Roatan Vacacation - what a great memory!!!
Jodie was absolutely amazing! There was a part where I got nervous because so many people were trying to tell me who my driver was. Jodie walked over and gently spoke to me during the chaos and I realized she was the driver. After that, what an amazing day! The sloths and monkeys were so cool, snorkeling was absolutely amazing, and then the beach break. She then took us to a few shops, get some coffee, and made sure we were all good during each stop. We will come back and Ask for Jodie!

The Best of Honduras
If you are looking for a little bit of everything that Honduras has to offer, this is the tour for you. Our tour guide JJ met us at the cruise terminal exit and walked us to his van. The order of the experience was ATV first, Monkeys/Sloth second, Chocolate Factory third, and Rum last. The ATV portion lasted over an hour and we stopped at the beach midway for a short break and photos. Our guides were awesome! We also loved the monkeys and sloth and got some private time with them away from crowded groups. Our guide at the sanctuary was very nice, knowledgeable and funny. The stop at the Chocolate Factory was OK but the shop was very crowded with other tourists. We sampled the 2 tyoes of chocolate that were coming out of the fountain and bought some chocolate bars. Sadly, once we got home and ate what we purchased, we found that it didn't taste anything like what we had sampled. Once we got back in the van with JJ, we decided to skip the last part of the tour and head back to the ship for some late lunch. I highly recommend this tour and we loved chatting with JJ in the van. He was very friendly, polite, professional and knowledgeable.

Even those pressed for time will be impressed with Anchorage’s half-day tours. The city makes a fabulous home base for adventure in any direction: To the north, visitors can explore rivers and waterfalls; to the east, mountains and Alaska’s most well-known state park; to the south, wildlife sanctuaries and famous scenic overlooks; to the west, islands, whale-watching, and more. Half-day tours from Anchorage—be it by bus, car, boat, or kayak—are just enough time to sample the city’s greatest wonders, and they are indeed great.
