All around great experience!
My partner, her brother and his fiancé had a great time in Cozumel! We took the Ultramar ferry from playa del Carmen to Cozumel and the ride was smooth, peaceful and approximately 30mins. Once we arrived, our tour guide Pablo greeted us at the entrance. Pablo was super friendly, nice, and stayed with us the entire time. He drove us to the Mayan village and gave us a history lesson about the Mayan people which was a cool to learn about. He guided us throughout the village on the ATV’s, they provided eye goggles, mask and helmets. We stopped at a beautiful cento that had clean restrooms and iguanas roaming the jungle. The cenote water was clean and fresh and it wasn’t a lot of people so you had enough time and space to enjoy it. The ATV tour ended with some shopping at local shops and a tequila tasting and history lesson. Best tequila I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this experience and if you can get Pablo as a tour guide , you’ll have a great time!

whale shark experience
This was definitely a bucket list experience for our family of 4. We had our 11 and 13 year old with us; both are great swimmers. Mom was a non-swimmer. However, our guide Javier was very knowledgeable and patient. Each pair had 2 jumps and were able to see many whale sharks around us. The cerviche, guacamole, mini-sandwich and pineapple lunch was delicious. Our captain, Joseph got us to the whale shark site, reef, beach and back to dock safely. It was a bumpy ride there so take anti-seasick medicine. We also bought the photo video package; $65 for couple and $120 for our family. We highly recommend this experience.

Great tour and great pricing!
Tour was great! Our guide, Carlos was extremely informative. The Mayan tour itself was short and sweet and then we went to the beach shortly after. My advice to anyone coming off of the MSC Seascape is to walk to the far right of the port security. Then go around to the back where the excursions are and tell them you booked through Viator for Toucan Tours. I wish someone would’ve told us this or written this in a review instead of us walking all around for 20 mins! Anyway, bring cash for foods, drinks, and the mango pineapple stop the tour does as well. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

While you might be tempted to spend all your time in the Riviera Maya and the Yucatan on the beach, the region offers much more than white sand and warm water. Riviera Maya and Yucatan tours reveal a different side of the Mexican state by showcasing Mayan ruins, secret cenotes, and colonial towns. Some excursions whisk you to a world wonder or sail to snorkeling hot spots in the Caribbean Sea, while others focus on exploring the jungle in an ATV or tasting local delights such as tacos and tequilas.
