We had an amazing time! Highly recommend! They took us wherever we wanted to go and made us fun cocktails the entire time. There were 8 of us total plus the 3 crew members and we had plenty of room, much better than a public boat tour! Do not hesitate to book this tour!

We had a wonderful time. The crew were very kind and helpful to us. We were a family ranging in age from 7 to 66. We wanted to actually sail on the sailboat. Which we did to our delight! We went to Playa Norte at Isla Mujeres and swam in incredibly clear blue water. Afterwards the crew provided home made guacamole and chis and some delicious fresh pineapple. Drinks were provided and they played music on board. We finished our time with more sailing and watching the sunset. We had interesting conversations with the crew about sailing and the area in general. They were very knowledgeable. Again the crew couldn’t have been nicer. Lovely people. This was awesome and my wife and I would highly recommend! It’s a great way to have a low key time on a sailboat. We did the 6 hour tour and visited the Isla Mujeres and had lunch there, swam in the Caribbean and also sailed. The Captin and first mate were awesome. They made us snacks as we swam in the Caribbean. Also, the gave us helpful tips and tricks for the island. Truly an amazing experience.

The description and photos does not match the reality. You need to be expert swimmer (pre confirmed with the agent that we are not expert swimmers but can manage with lifevests and she said you will have nice time snorkling wonderfull places. Once you are in boat it's different story) or else you will be sitting in boat whole time and just watch no stopping or snorkling. We booked for 4 hours and got off in 1 hour. Felt cheated.

Hi, this is Eugenia( you have talked with me ), and as I said : you don't have to be an expert swimmer to do snorkel . You have told the Captain that you don't know to swim at all but you can manage to float with the life jacket. And it is not about just to float . You have to manage to get to the snorkel area and then get back to the boat. You don't have to be an expert swimmer for that but you have to have idea for more than just being able to float in the life jacket . As well, you were with two children with special needs and the Captain decide that it is dangerous for you and the family to do snorkel in that area that is 20 min away from the port. You DID NOT let us know in advance about the special needs ( I don't know why, since we do personalized and private tours ) so once on board , the Captain had to redo the plan of the day skip that snorkel spot and plan to take you to other place where the water is very calm. With the 38 Feets sailboat we can get very close to the shore and reach very nice place where the water is just wonderful and there you can swim , snorkel around , relax in the lifevest . You have spend 20 MINUTES in the boat and decide to return because we wore sailing to much time . I am sorry if you did not understand from the beginning that we are SAILBOATS not Speed boats . It take time to reach places so with 20 min going outside you did not let us do NOTHING ! The children have been challenged to enter to the boat from the first time but they made it and we wore happy to have them and made last minute plan so the 4 children can have fun moments and the 4 adults can enjoy the day as well, but you did not give us that possibility since you decide to get back. You can not reach the places in some minutes, you have to sail to it ( with te sails ON) ,,, people enjoy the views meanwhile ( sometimes you can see sting rays turtles in the way ), have drinks, try to catch some fish,,,, it is not getting to the boat and being at the anchoring place in minutes .

If you want a great sailing experience without being stuck with a bunch of strangers, this is it. My boyfriend and I took the 8 hr excursion, which includes stopping at isla mujeres for 3-4 hrs (bring cash for the dock fee). Jonathan was our captain and he was excellent. Before we arrived we sailed around and went snorkeling, where you get to swim with all the fish around a sunken shrimp boat. The peacefulness of sailing in the Caribbean and listening to the sounds of the ocean is unmatched. Also, keep your eyes peeled and, hopefully, you will get to see a giant sea tortuga pop its head out. Private sailboat tours will cost you more, but the experience of having a boat to yourself in the Caribbean is absolutely worth it.

If you are two people , you can feel it a bit more expensive , but if you are a group of family or friends if you divide the cost per person it will be similar with the cost of the shared boats may be a bit more higher but the experience will be much better . Amazing sailing experience

We had an amazing experience on the boat with the captain and the crew. They were super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable- the captain took us to two amazing spots for snorkeling and also recommended a great place for lunch at Isla Mujeres, where we also visited North Beach. The boat was also super clean, well maintained, and had all the equipment we needed for swimming and snorkeling. Would recommend it for anyone!

We had a fantastic day on the water. Perfect weather. Miguel was an amazing host. We sailed and snorkeled and then dropped anchor off a beautiful beach at the top of isla mujeres. We were able to swim in to the island and explore before swimming back to the boat and sailing some more. The crew provided soft drinks and some nice snacks which we were not expecting. Highly recommend!

A nice ride but not as described

The pictures listed for the booking did not reflect what the boat looked like. It was a lot smaller and looked older than describe. My group of 5 was a little squished in the front due to spacing. We were a little seasick but were not offered any appetizers as the listing described we would receive. Even though our boat didn't match the pictures, our crew was AMAZING! The water was ridiculously choppy on the way to Isla Mujeres so all of us were extremely seasick and laid back during the ride with 2 getting extra sick. They assisted us where needed and continued asking if we needed anything. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant with really good food and our time around the island. We were given an extensive amount of time to eat, explore and enjoy the beach.

Hello Jazmin, I am glade you had a good time and so so sorry for the confusion . As you can see , we have two different boats listed with different prices and description . We do the same activities with the two boats , the only difference is the type of the boat and the price . You had chosen the Karma sailboat, which is a bit smaller, and more vintage, but it has more affordable price than Mayan sailboat that is very luxury , big , and as well with a bigger price . To have fun at the sea, it is no need to be in a luxury boat , because you can have the same fun and enjoy the activities like you did . Karma sailboat it is good for 5 people , but it is a sailboat , not a confortable yacht where you can have padded large seats . The configuration of the Sailboats in general can be very confortable as well ,but you have to look for a spot that can make you stay confortable . I am very sorry that you had a hard time on board , and did not like the boat and you had sea sick . We always have appetizers and drinks on board . The crew says that they offered you and the group but you say NO because of the sea sick and they do not insist . Anyway, thank you for letting me know for the next time so the crew can insist more about the food , because maybe not everyone had sea sick and get hungry and our crew did not offered anymore . I am sorry for that ! I hope you can give us a second chance so you can see that in Karma you can be confortable as well ( not like in a yacht but much more comfortable than you have been ) and we will provide you the same nice appetizers hoping to be liked by all . Thank you !

Wonderful private sailing experience

Evelio and Julio were outstanding. We were able to sail for several hours both there and back and then were able to explore a snorkel spot at Isla Mujeres. The snorkeling was just okay, but the beach and water were outstanding. If you like sailing and like having a boat to yourself, this is definitely worth it.

We are on our honeymoon and it was also my birthday. Javier and Ricardo were attentive to anything we needed. We were under sail most of the time and then we got to swim and relax at Isle Mujeres. Food and drinks were great. It was a perfect day!

Evelio and Julio were incredible friendly and helpful. The boat adventure was very nice, the snacks were delicious after swimming and very attentive crew. They both help tremendously with our 5 yr. old boy who is afraid of the ocean but Julio made him feel very confident in the water. We’ll defenitely recommend to take this tour, it is relaxing and definitely a great experience for the kids.

Really friendly crew that took excellent care of us. Loved the privacy as we were able to customise the trip as we wanted. Totally recommend them. We went to do a bit of snorkelling at the beginning and then went to Isla Mujeres, stayed there at one beach for a while and after sailed along the cost of the island.

The water was amazing and the crew was super friendly. Unfortunately, I felt we spent more time navigating rather than doing activities. The water was very choppy and using sails instead of the motor might have made things worse. Overall a nice experience but I’m just not feeling we got our money’s worth

Not a romantic excursion

We booked this excursion as the highlight of our 20 year anniversary trip. Unfortunately, it was not the highlight we had hoped for nor expected, especially for the cost. If you are looking for a day hanging out with buddies this is your trip. The staff was really nice and when they spoke with us it was good conversation. If you are looking for a romantic excursion as we were, this may not be for you. There aren’t any places to layout as there are on some sailboats. It is very small. We had to sit across from one another in the well of the boat with the crew. Which makes for good conversation ability with the crew, but also makes you sitting next to the smell of gasoline. It made me very nauseous. Luckily, they only use the motor to dock and get out of the marina. There was only beer and water offered, as I don’t drink beer, this was a disappointment for me but not the end of the world. Just more calories for snacks right? But there were also no snacks. They said they could make guac but had to stop by the island to buy chips so we could eat it. We didn’t bother and ate lunch at a restaurant on the island instead. They did bring a small cake for our anniversary they offered on the return trip that we ended up just bringing back to our hotel room. The windy weather added to the frustration but that is completely out of their control. Though we still tried snorkeling (at great effort on the crew's part—thank you) it was a no go. 5 min in and we had to get out. We had also made arrangements to fish but they didn’t bring the equipment on board. So in the end, we went to the island and spent most of our paid sail time there. I truly wish they’d have brought the fishing gear so we’d have had another option as the wind was too high to snorkel. We ended the tour early choosing to miss the sunset sail. It just wasn't worth more time on board. Oh, we were not on the boat they messaged us the day before so that was a confusing start. Go expecting to chill with friends —not for a romantic session and you’ll have a good time! From one small business owner to another: Please manage the expectations of your guests. Put photos of all your boats on your website. If all you serve is beer and water, say beer and water is available. If there isn’t food available, please let people know. We hadn’t eaten lunch and were really hungry. If you say fishing will be available, have it available. Weather you cannot control but everything else you could.

Very nice crew, but the boat was different than the pictures

First I would like to say our crew was awesome and very accommodating. However, the sailboat pictured is not the one we sailed on. I believe there was a problem with the caption or something because that boat was at the marina but we were directed to another boat. Although nice, the boat we sailed on was much smaller and older. Again, the crew was very nice, no complaints there, I just wish we would have known the situation beforehand and maybe been able to adjust the price for a smaller boat.

This trip was everything we hoped it would be. My wife and I decided to have a small wedding ceremony on the boat with a few friends and Eugenia and Eric could not have been more incredible! They were truly the most genuine hosts I have experienced for a small day trip. Eugenia even went as far as being a photographer for us during the ceremony! Thank you so much for the great day out! Eugenia and Eric did a great job, and were very flexible with our children who were a bit tired that day. Eugenia went far above and beyond to make a meal that was safe for their allergies (and was very gracious when they were not as grateful as they should have been for that effort). All of this on Christmas Eve, nonetheless! Thanks again for the beautiful Christmas Eve sunset!

We sailed for a second time with Eric and Eugenia in Cancun. As much as we loved the first time, the second time was even better!! Eugenia is amazing! She was always making sure everyone was comfortable and especially looked after me when the seasickness hit! 🤢snacks were amazing and plentiful! She even shared her recipe with me! The little touches make the experience and there were plenty here. Can’t wait to sail with them again!!! Eugenia, my “Jolene” friend...until next time!!

What an experience! Eric and crew were wonderful. . .top notch hospitality! I booked this for my husband's birthday. They had everything. . .great drinks, delicious appetizers, and Bluetooth for your music. The boat is a gem! They even brought out a tasty birthday cake (it was too windy for the candle). My husband had too many drinks before boarding the boat and go really sick. They were very accommodating. I definitely recommend sailing with them. We'll be back for sure!
