Exceptional Day in Rio with Karla

We were picked up right at the cruise port by a private driver and our guide, Karla. Communication beforehand was excellent, with very clear instructions about the meeting point. Karla spoke excellent English and was energetic, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her country. At each stop, the driver dropped us off and Karla guided us personally, sharing a wealth of information, taking photos for us, and making the experience feel very customized. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Carretão, a Brazilian steakhouse, which was a highlight of the day. Karla seemed to know everyone everywhere we went. At both Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer, she greeted the staff warmly and was able to take us straight to the front of the lines, which made a huge difference. It was a fantastic day and a tour I would absolutely recommend—especially with Karla as your guide.

Our guide Meilin was very nice and informative. The Favela tour is a must for anyone who has never done it and it is safe (some are not). Gives you a good perspective of what life in the Favelas is about and also gets rid of some preconceived myths. Highly recommended. Be warned - LOTS of stairs to climb though!

Victor was an excellent tour guide

Victor is such a lively, knowledgeable and professional tour guide. We had the best time. He kept the group together and on time and did his best to give insight into all our locations in three different languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese). He made the environment fun and exciting. Excellent Tour

Recommend this tour if you have limited time in Rio. Our Tour Guide Ursula was excellent knowledge of the subjects. We had a tour through one of the favela, all the top sights and some additional ones like the maracana Stadium. It was a long day extremely enjoyable. I booked this trip the day before had regular communication throughout, highly recommend.

Spectacular guide, company and experience

Jonas, our guide is amazing, we are at the tail end of the adventure & I had to review him right now. His English is great, he took special care of everyone in our group and was very accommodating. The 4 stops we had were just what we needed to see Rio in all of its splendor. I am still thinking of hang gliding and going to Tijuca parque/rainforest. Wonderful trip with all the must-sees!
