Our guide Saul was great....

Our guide Saul was great. Without a guide we likely would not have seen anything. He was able to spot and provide information about the animals we say. With his scope we got good views of the animals and he took photos with our cameras through the scope which look great. The park itself is ok, it gets busy and I expected more animals. We did see 1 sloth, a bunch of monkeys, some lizards and crabs. The beach at the end was very nice, but got quite busy as the morning went on. This was on a holiday weekend so not very surprising.

Haviere was incredible at spotting animals and the. Getting us away from the crowds when they formed around us. We seemed to be on our own in a very busy place. Fantastic guided walk with Andrea

Andrea was our guide for the Manuel Antonio walk and she was absolutely fantastic. She was very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and shared so much interesting information about the animals and plants throughout the tour. She also took amazing photos and videos for us, which she kindly shared with the group afterwards—such a great touch! The pace of the walk was perfect and never felt rushed, allowing us to really enjoy the experience and take everything in. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Andrea as your guide!

Great excursion on the water.

A great excursion out of the marina in Quepos! We had a rental car but opted for the hotel pickup -- ride was on time and helped us get connected with the cruise staff for check-in. Note that if you choose to drive to the marina there really is a lot of free parking there. The trip itself was great -- we had perfect weather touring around the coast of the park while staff took care of us with (bottomless) drinks. Eventually we stopped in a bay for some water fun (slides, jumping, snorkelling, swimming). Visibility for snorkelling wasn't great so not many people on our trip opted for this. The slides were kind of ho-hum -- the most fun was jumping off the top deck of the boat. Water fun was followed by a great dinner: fresh fish kabobs, fruits, salads and more drinks! We puttered around a bit after dinner waiting for the sun to set and then headed back to the marina. The trip back to the hotel was just as smooth. This should go without saying but if you're taking pictures out on the ocean make sure you've got some way of securing your phone/camera and/or adding a floatation strap to your device (lots of options on Amazon). Someone on our trip was taking a picture of a friend lying down on the netting at the bow and dropped their phone -- a couple bounces and plop -- into the ocean and it was gone!

Incredible experience .

Incredible experience with our guide Eddie . Full day well worth every penny and more . Company is so thoughtful and considerate patient with children and adults alike . Food was authentic and fresh. Accommodating vegetarians . This was the highlight of our week in Manuel Antonio!! Notes to prepare , wear good shoes to hike the waterfall . Flip flops were a mistake for the staircase. Waterfall is beautiful and we enjoyed the climb and some of the shorter jumps . Kids had a blast. This company puts safety and the overall experience first .

One of the coolest things I’ve ever done

Really fun! The van picked us up from our hotel in Quepos (sent out a message via WhatsApp confirming the location). Highly recommend using that service because they bring you to the office and then to the park. Everyone who worked there was really nice and you’re never left unattended, so it felt safe, if that’s a concern. There is some walking you have to do between platforms at times - just a warning. We had no problems with it, and nobody else seemed to either. Also, there were water stations & fresh fruit between platforms! This sounds dramatic but it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The views were beautiful. THE MEAL AFTER WAS AMAZING. Probably the best chicken I’ve ever had along with rice, beans, pico, etc. & they had amazing iced tea. My boyfriend is a vegetarian and they accommodated that, asking in the beginning! 10/10, five stars, would do it again.

A fine evening on the water

Our guide Javier is a wildlife whisperer. We saw birds (potoo, pauraque, wood-rail, tiger heron, green heron, pygmy kingfisher, green kingfisher), basilisk, bats, cayman and crocodile, iguanas. Although it rained, we remained dry within the boat. We skipped the dinner (and notified them beforehand) because it is served too late for both us and our grandchildren. The tour kindly provided free transportation back to our hotel right after the cruise!

Hiring a guide is the way to go!

Touring with a guide tbrough Manual Antonio Park is highly recommended! The guides can find the animals and insects much more easily than if you we trying to find them on your own. Our guide used our phones to photograph species through his spotting scope. The best take home souvenir!

Great tour, you need a guide for Manuel Antonio

You need a ticket to enter Manuel Antonio separate from this reservation. We bought a resale ticket for $50 per person (normal cost $18/person). Tour was good. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and history. He also had a zoom lens to see creatures that were far away. We saw sloths, a toucan, capuchins and other creatures. There is a nice beach at the end of the tour, and our guide made sure we had enough time there before it closed at 3 pm.

Perfect for families

We took our 9 and 6 year old sons and this was their favorite part of our trip. All crew members were extremely helpful and friendly. Well worth the price for the number of drinks (well made!) and snack/full dinner provided. Shockingly good fish for being served out on a boat! We saw many fish while snorkeling and even though it rained a bit, the sunset was beautiful at the end of the evening.
