We had a great time with our three guides- Alejandro; Damien and Rasta. They were very informative, fun and talented. They were also very into SAFETY. We went with a big group aged 5-70. If you want to jump off the waterfalls they encourage it, if not it’s still fun to float around in the water and watch people jump off the waterfalls. Water shoes are definitely needed as there are uneven paths with tree stumps and rocks to access the waterfalls as well as large rocks in the water. The only thing we didn’t like was the beach. It had black sand and large waves with no where to sit.

A fabulous waterfall adventure that allows for you to pick the challenges you want to participate in. A wonderful day with great guides!

A safe and fun experience with professionals with a sense of humour. Even the coach journeys were entertaining and informative. Locations were out of the way and without crowds. An excellent day out.

Our guides, Damien, Corey, Mambo, and Fabian were AMAZING! They made us feel comfortable the entire trip, helping everyone through the waterfalls and making us feel safe as we jumped off rock cliffs. They were considerate to everyone’s needs and even made everyone palm leafs origami figures (crickets, flowers, etc) as a sweet parting gift at the end of the day. Highly recommend this tour to anyone around Manuel Antonio, great adventure!

Amazing crew, amazing views, amazing experience!! Fabulous food too! You won’t regret taking your camera to each location.

It was awesome. The guys were great (Fabian, Ismael, DK, Macho)
But we had a few members of our group who did not enjoy the water. They came because they thought there would be more hiking to the waterfalls.
This tour spends a lot of time on the bus moving from one location to the other. Which is great if you are looking to hop off the bus and hop in the water but not great if you thought there would be more hiking.
But for the water lovers and the adventurers, this was great. The guides made it easy to know where and how to jump. It's hard to get the confidence to do the jumps without experienced guys who know how to do it safely.

This is a great experience! The guides are incredible, very fun, kind, and encouraging. There's also a fantastic photographer who does an amazing job at capturing the day so all you need to do is experience it. His prices are very fair and he's very easy to work with. I highly recommend this trip!

This was an amazing experience! My husband and I had a great time. The crew was safety conscious, warm, welcoming, and informative. The crew made it possible to be adventurous and safe! Also, the lunch was local, fresh, and wood fire prepared.

Amazing experience! This tour group was wonderful. Really great guys who told us about the history of the area and some really cool facts about the country. The waterfalls were so beautiful and it was nice to see a variety. Also, I think this group seemed by far the safest. They gave us clear instructions and made sure we had the right gear to do the waterfall slide and the jumps. I didn’t see the other tour groups doing the same. Lunch was also yummy. My best meal in Costa Rica so far!

Absolutely wonderful waterfall tour in Costa Rica!!! BRING WATER SHOES. The conditions can be slippery and having shoes with good grip is very helpful. The staff on this trip were wonderful and always putting our safety first. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime adventure in Costa Rica this is it!

Our tour was during the first week of March 2024. Our group of 10 couples joined two other smaller families and we got a long great! The Paddle 9 Outfit guys were highly professional and friendly. Safety was of the utmost importance. A company provided photographer was on board! This was nice so we didn't have to have our cell phones or nicer cameras. The charge was $25 and he would take all the pictures you wanted him too. He took candid photos but would take any posed as well. We had the best time jumping off small falls into the refreshing water. Let me say, I DO NOT LIKE COLD WATER!!! It was chilly and exhilarating but once in, I got use to it and enjoyed it. You have to be brave to jump but overcome your fears and DO IT! Made me feel really alive! Without a doubt, this waterfall tour was the favorite of our crowd of all the tours we did together. The best part.....we were lucky enough to get a cliff diving show by the staff!!! One of the kids (20 something) is a cliff diving professional and he and his colleagues have been able to work together and learn more tricks! A big WOW for us. As we drove from waterfall to waterfall in our private, comfortable bus, we learned lots of history of Costa Rica. Thankfully, after a long, busy, adventurous day, on the way back it was quiet. Perfect nap time. I would definitely do this tour again!!!

Had a great time with the guides and learning about Costa Rica and its ecosystem.
Waterfall and beach times were great. Wish time in bus was less.
Guides were very good with insuring the safety of everyone on the trip… much more than what we observed from other groups.

Incredible guides from Paddle 9 and the sheer beauty. Our experience was excellent from beginning to end

We had an amazing time on the waterfall tour. Our family of six has a range of adventure from timid to no fear and it delivered for everyone. Reagan, DK, Rasta, and Matt were great tour guides. Thanks to Reagan, we now have a child who would also like to be a professional cliff diver. Ha! The Costa Rican history lesson was amazing, the tour stops were beautiful, and lunch was tasty. As a family that homeschools, this was an all-around great lesson. Definitely nothing they could ever learn from a book.
A few tips:
- If you are prone to motion sickness, take your meds before you leave
- Wear good water shoes-Amazon has plenty of choices for a reasonable price
- Bring a towel
- Just jump-I am not typically adventurous, but jumped off both places we could!

Fantastic experience from the beginning to the end. The different waterfalls and swimming spots to amazing lunch. The information given about the country on the drive was fantastic as well!

This was an awesome way to spend a day! From the cliff jumps, to the natural slide, to lunch, and to the beach time, it was well worth the cost. There’s a photographer that comes along too, offering photos of your family for purchase at the end. We were entertained by the super friendly and knowledgeable guides, and felt safe during all the activities. Definitely the highlight of our times in Quepos!

Ken, DK, and the group were knowledgeable, engaging and very safety minded. We had a great time that not even a Costa Rican downpour could damper.

We had a great time exploring several waterfalls and watering holes. The team was very safety conscious and helpful to our group of 9 (ranging from 12-81!). But what made this day AMAZING, were our guides Ken, Elliot and Rasta. They were funny, kind, and so informative. We loved this excursion and highly recommend!!

It's a bit overwhelming to write about this adventure because it was all so good! We were a group of software developers and designers who have been working remote (and hadn't really met each other) since 2020. So this was our first experience as a team with a challenge that wasn't software-related...
Gummi, our driver, was lovely. The roads were wild and I can't believe he navigated the terrain like he did. I think he even helped us climb back up to the bus after our first waterfall, which was just really sweet.
The guides (Alejandro, Matt, Ismael) were all fantastic! They were attentive and gave us a great explanation of how they check the waterfalls for safety. We all felt like we were in safe hands even when we felt anxious or scared. It also spoke volumes that they wanted to make sure other people were safely jumping in the area. It was cool and comforting to see the guides do their own dives and jumps at the end of each waterfall, too. Some of us were afraid of heights and some of us didn't know we were terrified until we were getting ready to jump, so it was helpful to see them handle the waterfalls.
During the bus rides in between waterfalls, they used the time well and were able to give us a richer history of Costa Rica. We hadn't quite received that on any other tour we booked. And we had the best lunch we had had during the entire trip at the tilapia farm. Thank you!
The only hiccup we had was Mother Nature. It rained A LOT the night before we were originally scheduled to do this excursion. We had to reschedule our tour to the following day, but it worked out. We ended up doing the waterfall adventure on our last day in Costa Rica... It proved to be just what we needed to go home with full hearts and beautiful memories.
If we're ever in Quepos again, we're coming back! And if you want a life-changing experience in all of the best ways, this is the adventure for you!

Our tour guides were all amazing—fun, energetic and knowledgeable. Though you can go to these places on your own, I never would have looked at this spots (especially the waterfall slide and the 35 ft jump) and thought they would be a good spot for a slide or jumping. They demonstrated how to do things safely and have fun. Definitely recommend. Also the food at the tilapia farm was delicious.

The night before my tour it rained pretty heavily but the morning of the tour the sky cleared and the clouds parted and it was a beautiful day. The other people on my tour canceled and luckily for me the tour company decided to take me out on my own. Many times they have a minimum and won’t take out just one solo traveler so that was already great. The guides, Ismael and Tommy, were amazing. They were very knowledgeable and made the tour safe and fun. They also did a great job taking photos and keeping me engaged. I recommend this tour company and this specific tour.

Our all-day waterfall adventure with Andres, Ismael, Wesley (aka paparazzi), Reuben, and Gumi ( our driver) was a day we will never forget! We have had many wonderful tour guides and adventures here in Costa Rica, but these guys are the BEST! Our family's age range is 53-15 and it was a perfect day for all of us. Some of the waterfalls require a bit more courage, but it was very thrilling to try something so adventurous! There were 2 other families in our tour group, with the youngest person being 6 years old. Even she jumped off the 8ft waterfall. The bus ride is entertaining and educational, with the guides telling funny stories, jokes, and teaching about Costa Rica. Safety is a priority which made us all feel much more at ease and comfortable trying the jumps. The pace of the day was well planned out with snacks and lunch at just the right time and ending the day with a relaxing visit to a beautiful beach. We would give this experience a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone feeling up for an adventure! Great job Paddle 9! We hope to see you again!
