We did kayaking through the mangroves. You can kayak at your pace as long as you stay near the guide. You do have to move away to the sides for other boats passing by. Got to experience some wildlife but not many. Overall great experience.

The kayak tour was outstanding! Our guide ‘Mega’ was knowledgeable and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. Saw lots of natural creatures!

Kayaking in the mangroves is a peaceful experience to learn about the wildlife from our guide Mega. I was hoping for an early morning paddle but it is dependent upon the tides. Our tour began midday just before the afternoon rains. Mega is some history of the mangroves. We were able to see a family of Capuchin monkeys and a curled up anteater in the distant trees. The meal provided after the tour was satisfying and delicious.

Mega was a great host! He let me share a double kayak with him because I was with 2 other people and I didn't have to lift the paddle once! The mangroves were beautiful and he was very informative. I'm a mediocre spanish speaker, and he was very good about letting me practice. He was very patient and spoke slowly with me as we had a conversation on our kayak. We saw lots of birds, iguanas, crabs etc. No sloths or monkeys this time, but that's always a possibility! It was still a great experience! Very peaceful and relaxing. The meal afterwards was also very delicious!
