The perfect cultural half-day tour! 10/10
We did the half-day cultural tour, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The itinerary was packed with incredible experiences: we started with horseback riding, visited an outdoor market and a food market, and then sat down to eat some delicious, authentic dominican food. We also got to learn all about coffee and cacao production and see exactly what a traditional countryside house looks like. To cap it all off, we ended the day at the beautiful Macao Beach.
Our guide, Robinson, was fantastic and kept us informed and entertained the whole time, and Teo was an amazing driver who kept us safe and comfortable throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a real taste of the culture!

Came in with with my best friends and had a great time! Our tour guide name is Happy and he was the best! He was very accommodating and he watched out for us and made sure we are ok. He never rushed us. Highly recommend!
The beach he took us was so beautiful!!

We really enjoyed this atv tour!
Our tour guide was polite, professional, and everyone we encountered on the tour was a pleasure to deal with.
First we stopped at a coffee shop where we got to taste multiple products — coffee, cacao, mamajuana — and had the option to buy what we liked. Next we went to a cave with water for a swim, which was amazing.
On the way back, I accidentally dropped my bag with all the purchases I’d made at the coffee shop. Once I realized, our tour guide immediately sent another guide with me and my husband to retrace our path to look for it. When we couldn’t find it, he brought us back to the shop and let us take the items we’d originally purchased at no charge!!!
The honesty and care was incredible. I highly recommend this

I booked this for 15 people (8 adults, 7 children). Everything was all planned out and went smoothly from the hotel pick up and drop off. They served fruits and sandwiches which were good.
There was a photographer, but he wasn't pushing at all. I told him we would use our phones to take pictures and not purchase any pictures from him. He didn't bother us at all.
I wanted to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16 since we were there. Staffs decorated the boat with balloons and prepared a cake for my daughter.
Boat was clean, has bathrooms, enough equipment for snorkeling. Slide was fun. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much!

Highlight of our week!
Lots of adventure and sights to see. Broke up our week at a resort with this tour. Not for the faint of heart or someone looking for a luxury option. But you get amazing people (guide and driver) who make you feel safe and enjoy the beauty of the country. Robinson was our tour guide and made you feel like family. The lunch we had on this tour was authentic and probably the best food we had on our entire trip. If you are looking to experience something you won’t forget, I encourage you to give this a try.

A great view of DR culture!
This was a lovely day on our vacation and allowed us a view into the culture of the DR that you miss when staying only at the hotel/resort. I would definitely recommend!
It is a fairly long drive, around 3 hours from Punta Cana. There is information provided by the tour guide along the way which was engaging and interesting. Once you get to the colonial city, the tour is a walking tour. The pace of the tour is great, but be sure to keep up when given a time limit. I lost track of time and was almost left behind in the Cathedral. A buffet lunch is provided at a local restaurant and it was really great! The beef was phenomenal, as well as the dessert "coconut candy." I'll be honest that we were a little hesitant about it by look, but it tasted so good!
The souvenir market we stopped at in the colonial city had so many options of locally made goods. Bring cash (USD or pesos are both accepted) for a significant discount on your purchase, as well as to tip your tour guide and driver!
On the way back to Punta Cana we stopped at a small chocolate factory which had a very short demonstration of chocolate making and products, and time to explore their gift shop for chocolate, bath and body products, and souvenirs (I included a photo of some of the hand-painted dolls they had here - absolutely gorgeous!)

Montana Redonda
Darwin was our private driver and he was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the morning of our visit it was a downpour and much of the experience. Good weather is important to experience. The views we still made the best of it. I would not visit the local beach, but Montana Redonda is worth a visit.

Book it!!
Super fun experience! Highly recommend!! My husband and I throughly enjoyed this excursion. Our tour guide Darwin was very informative and nice. He made sure we stayed hydrated the whole trip, which was super kind of him. He also went out of his way to get us all snacks since our group was hungry before it was lunchtime. We never felt unsafe during the tour while exploring. He kept track of all 8 of us within the group but also let us look around and explore, never rushing us.
The authentic restaurant food was super delicious!! It was one of the biggest highlights of the tour for me.
You get to horseback ride, make cigars, see how they make chocolate, see the local markets, church, school house and more… every fun packed tour compared to others..
DONT hesitant to book this: you won’t be disappointed!!

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience from beginning to end! The entire crew made sure that we were taken to our private excursion and treated so beautifully the entire time! I would definitely suggest booking this experience for you and your group. It is more than worth it.

Great day on the water!
We had such a great time on this excursion. The crew was professional and fun and accommodating. The drinks and snacks were yummy. There was plenty of places for shade and sun, the slide was fun and the boat was easy to get on and off. The photos were great, but pricey. We’d definitely do this excursion again.

Incredible Adventure & Outstanding Guide!
My experience with Runners Adventures on the Adventure Bundle: Monkeyland, Ziplines & Buggies in Punta Cana was absolutely unforgettable! The entire day was well organized, fun, and packed with adventure.
A special shoutout goes to PJ, our tour guide for the dune buggy portion — he was hilarious, engaging, and kept the energy high while remaining professional and attentive to everyone’s safety. His humor and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable.
Customer service throughout the entire tour was top-notch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Punta Cana looking for a fun and memorable excursion!

Best Excursion....everything was great...all the staff were really nice.
Bring money for tipping....Fernando is a beautiful man with a great smile...and quite professional too...everyone smiled and kept watch for us....and we had a ball...our driver on the way home was ...whew... a wild card! The sargassum at the doc stank to high hell-o but this had nothing to do with the staff or the tour...and they took us to an area that had blockers up to keep out the majority of the algae bloom...so snorkeling and chilling on the sand bar was so fun. The cenote was amazing...be careful the rocks are slippery.
