We took a trip to the DR for my best friends 50th birthday, we booked this excursion and absolutley loved it, our tour guides Fransico the driver and Manny the tour guide were fantastic friendly and knowledgable. We loved everything about this excursion ziplining, monkeyland and buggie riding, we did alot in one day it was great. Definatley woule recommend and will do it again on our next visit to the DR.

PJ, Sensational, Young Boy, and the rest of the team at Runners Adventures are amazing. They make the experience over the top. Definitely recommend the 3 in 1 bundle
Worth the money. Very long day though!!!! Would suggest you get some good rest before. Not the place for small kids though.
My wife and I settled on a 4 rating because it was a 5 for the memories and experience but a 3 on the logistics of it. Let me be very clear, if you are in the Cap Cana area, this is a 13 HOUR excursion. Breaking that down, it is 4-5 hours of transportation, 5 hours of waiting and being sold various items including trip pictures and various wares, and then 4 hours of actual excursion activities (1.5 hours of zipline, 1 hour of monkey village and 1.5 hours of ATV driving and swimming). It is a major investment of time but we rated it higher because it is a lot of fun, it's just a total day and evening investment. Just know that going in and you'll be ok. We expected to be back around 4p, having left at 630a, and instead got back to our resort in Cap Cana at 8p. We write this only for you to manage your expectations...we believe it is worth it but it isn't a "short" experience nor is it an action-packed one.
The other issue is, on the zipline, they are trying to hurry you through because of the number of excursions they sell, so you only have about 25% of the people helping and clipping you in being friendly. They REALLY want you to go fast in the zipline. We wanted it to be a more fun experience, which is truly gorgeous and exhilarating, but about 3 of every 4 people you encounter "helping" you to clip in is a bit of a jerk / mean. My wife was felt to be a problem because she is short and light and they were not nice to her. They just pushed her to hurry and "stand on your toes." It was a cool experience but the people didn't make it better overall.
In the end, you spend a LOT of time being sold extras, waiting for the next experience, or getting back (or from) your hotel. Go into this understanding that, and you will be ok! Have fun and enjoy yourself.
As many other people have said plan for at least 12 hours away from the resort. It’s just the cost of participating. Gregory was our tour guide and made us feel very comfortable as it can be a bit confusing during the transportation to and from. Luciano (sorry if the spelling is bad) was our driver and we stayed with him all day. Others had to switch buses for their tour. We did zip line, buggy and monkey tour. Zip line was as excepted and professional. We have done zip lines where you had a little doubt about safety. Not here. The buggy was really fun but we had some mechanical issues that didn’t ruin the experience but did take away a bit of the fun. Pro tip… if you can get a buggy built for 4 people (even if only two of you are going) try to get that one. They are a bigger machine and have more power especially when you hit the water. PJ was our host for this and did a great job. The highlight was the monkeys. I think our guys were Albert and Diego and they did a great job of working with the monkeys to make sure each family got time holding the (more like them standing out your outstretched hands). Pro tip for this one. Take a few of your own pictures and they spend the stupid $50 for all of their professional pictures… then enjoy time with the monkeys vs trying to get your own photos. Well worth the money
Amazing experience! You get plenty of time with each activity, and each one is fun and unique. The lunch was simple but very delicious. The staff were amazing and everyone seemed to be having a great time! Special shoutouts to Angel and PJ.
Zip lines soared, monkeys charmed us, and ATV buggies raced—nonstop laughs and unforgettable fun! It was awesome!
Zipline was fun, monkeys were adorable, buggies were a little wore out and several broke down. However, everyone was helpful and they had people fixing them fast. It took 13 hours not 9 plan on a long day:
It’s a long day but worth it! Our tour guides Sexy Papi and PJ were amazing. Our shuttle driver Cielo was hauling butt to make the travel times are short as possible which we really appreciated. The zip lining was so much fun and beautiful scenery. All the workers made me feel very comfortable (first time zip liner, it’s intimidating! ) the monkeys were so cute and friendly. And last but not least the buggies were a fun way to wrap up the day, luckily the DR hadn’t been getting too much rain so didn’t get muddy! Just be prepared to be away from your resort for up to 12 hours. They had plenty of water but glad we brought extra bottles and snacks.
Food and experience was amazing, waiting time was the only thing that was not ideal. We were waiting for other people to join us again to continue

Honestly this is the third buggie tour ive taken in the dominican republic where they have you wait HOURS before you get to the buggies. This is not fair to anyone, if you know our monkey and zipline tour finishes at a certain time, then your team should be ready with the buggies right after. It’s extremely frustrating waiting 1-2 hours in the heat, no food, no water for them to be ready to do the buggies. Then they purposely make you wait near souvenir shops and other food areas to convince you to buy things. Im genuinely sick of it and I really hope they fix it already. This isn’t just this company its almost every buggie tour. If we have to wait for hours tell us, give us a choice because for all this I would rather just go home after the zipline and monkey tour.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t as expected. During the Triple Adventure tour, after the Monkeyland activity, guests make a short stop at the tobacco area, and the group meets again around 2:30 p.m. to continue with the buggies.
In rare cases, due to circumstances beyond our control, there may be slight delays when other groups finish lunch later.
However, we never make our guests wait 1–2 hours under the sun or in stores to encourage purchases, and we’re truly sorry if that was the impression.

My experience with Runners Adventures on the Adventure Bundle: Monkeyland, Ziplines & Buggies in Punta Cana was absolutely unforgettable! The entire day was well organized, fun, and packed with adventure.
A special shoutout goes to PJ, our tour guide for the dune buggy portion — he was hilarious, engaging, and kept the energy high while remaining professional and attentive to everyone’s safety. His humor and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable.
Customer service throughout the entire tour was top-notch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome.

Overall this was an amazing experience. The day is long but they definitely keep you entertained with the amount of activities. The food was also good. My tour guide was great and very funny
The tour guide Gregory was very knowledgeable about pretty much anything you asked. PJ was great at the 4x4 experience. The zip lining and monkey land were amazing. We all loved this excursion.
Booking this all day adventure is worth it. Easy pickup and nice ride with our tour guide giving us some local information driving through the villages on the way to the location. Zip lines were great and my wife who is afraid of heights had a blast. The lunch provided was delicious. Monkeys were really cool. That said if you have done ATVs/buggy’s somewhere else, maybe see if there is a different experience you can do. (It was okay but really an out and back in town, then 15 minutes on the river. PJ was a blast). The only “negative” thing is the constant sales pitch to purchase more “stuff” after each event felt almost like a timeshare presentation. It’s a long day so just be prepared to be out for 12 hours. Water was readily available and we were given water bottles several times. Beer and snacks were available for purchase at all the stops.
Its a long day but a lot of fun. They do take lots of time between activities and try to sell you merchandise all day.
This was probably the best excursion I have been on! The staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. All three of the adventures were thrilling and I felt safe the whole time even though I was scared at first with Zip lining.

The only thing that the company could do better at is communicating about pick up and drop off. There was a lot of confusion around the pick up schedule as the transportation was more than 30 mins late picking my party up. While waiting for transportation myself and hotel staff attempted to contact the company via email and phone. Never heard back by email and over the phone was never provided with an update as to when the transportation would arrive. Due to this this, my party and I missed the opportunity to eat breakfast because the pick up was before breakfast was offered at the hotel. If we knew we would be picked up later, we could’ve eaten. Also, the time from lunch to drop off time was extremely too long to not offer another meal or snacks. Only water was offered during this timeframe. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Start to finish: AM pick-up was scheduled for 0730, arrived @ 0740 & we left, stopped at a gas station (central meet-up location for company) & sat for about 30 mins. Drove to the location & it was fun to see the small neighborhoods & how real life in Punta Cana really is. Arrival - straight to get ready for zipline experience which was awesome & my favorite part of the day. I felt safe & educated on what to do. Staff was great & there for take-off & landing at all 12 lines. We were given the option to pay for photo’s which was 35 (varies) in total and for a group of 2-3 was $35 for all pics delivered digitally. Received photos in less than 5 minutes. Lunch - was amazing! Authentic Dominican food cooked by locals & it was better than the resort food we’ve been eating. 10/10 would go back just to have more. Everyone in the group agreed! Monkeyland - it was pouring rain at this point so entire group purchased rain ponchos and glad we did. This was fun and my family loved it, but I personally wasn’t a fan of the pee/poop happening on our heads/shoulders and glad I had a poncho on for that reason. We were given the option to purchase pics and they were great pics, but 18 in total for $40 and we declined. Staff was not pushy or irritated when we didn’t buy. Buggies - SO FUN! It was still pouring but I planned on getting soaked anyways, so we didn’t let this bother us. We do high speed/thrill stuff at home, so we were kinda annoyed at the slow-paced slinky that kept occurring…but by the time the ride was half-way everyone seemed to be more confident in their driving and we were able to drive faster and really hit some BIG puddles hard which was super fun to see the pics afterwards of our big splashes. We unfortunately couldn’t swim in the river, but we had so much fun and were ready to get back to the bus and head home. We saw our photos, but didn’t feel like spending anymore money on pics. 10/10 stars!! Don’t make early dinner plans. This is truly an all day experience. P.S. Sammy was an awesome guide. He was funny, informative and overall great representative for the company. He communicated well and I always knew where to go and what we were doing since we were being moved from place to place. Nelson was a great driver and I felt safe having my child being driven around through rush-hour traffic. I’d give them both a raise if I could!! One last thing: We did also do a cigar shop tour and the chocolate house tour, but the highlights are above.
Fabulous experience. It poured for the monkeys and ATVs, but all of the guides made it so enjoyable. Honestly all 3 activities were so much fun. Our main man Sammy was so knowledgeable. I highly recommend all 3 activities.
They basically scammed me out of my monkey land photos that I paid for. They never sent them to my email. And I’m still trying to contact them.

We had a wonderful day with Sammy and Samuel. The drive out into the e countryside was beautiful (after you leave the busier areas) and everyone involved with the tour was so helpful. We were worried that zip lining would take forever as we had a huge group but they were so fast! The monkeys were a highlight and lunch at Maria’s was tasty and a unique experience. We finished with the buggies and my husband had a blast driving ours. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone (but bring lots of tip money as there were tip jars everywhere).
Jesús and Danielle were our guides! They picked us up and dropped us off on time and pleasantly. They were very caring, very funny, and overall so accommodating. They always made sure we had water and gave us a really great experience. We started out at the zip lines which was such a beautiful jungle to explore and zip through. The staff were so positive and helpful while explaining all the signs for a successful ride- a great workout. Shortly after, we had an authentic lunch on a ranch with chickens running around, fresh fruit and a beautiful staff. The food was incredible and very filling. Afterwards we made our way to the monkey sanctuary where, Aris was our guide. Aris was AMAZING! He’s super funny and made the entire experience worth every penny. The monkeys are so precious and very interactive. Considering we were in a large group we felt like the time spent was perfect. To end the day, we rode buggies all through the jungle where we got to experience the rush! I was able to watch the cows and goats walk around and enjoy the scenic views of the mountains. PJ, our ATV guide was hilarious! He made the whole process fun and light! I highly recommend the triple adventure pack! Worth every penny and you get to experience the Dominican Republic and all the beauty its culture has to offer.
We truly enjoyed ourselves. All activities were close in range. I really enjoyed the food and our transportation guide Gabriel!! Monkey land was truly my favorite!!

We had a blast and our tour guides Jose, PJ (momma and papa) were amazing the way they made sure we knew exactly what we were doing and were very attentive and interactive with us all. Along the ride to the park we got cultural history about the Dominican ans we passed by local ateas and it was great not having to sit awkwardly silent on a bus like some excursions we went on. Only thing that was not so great was there is ALOT of walking/stairs and the picture packages were outrageous priced and each activity you have to pay for pictures separately. My advice would be to them is have a total picture package for the entire excursions not sell them separately.
I just didn’t like the idea of switching boats numerous of times other than that it was ok other than the sun
