What are people saying about Punta Cana

I felt the description...
I felt the description was broad so let me break it down: 1. Horse back riding - about 10-15 minutes we opted out and they were okay with it 3. Church - you have to cover up, (they provided coverings) women can’t wear revealing clothes and you have to pay $1 to get in otherwise it was beautiful 2. Farmers market - least favorite spot, smelled horrible, raw meat just out everywhere definitely got a taste of the culture there and we stopped at a gift shop 4. Lunch - the food was AMAZING, everyone loved the Dominican food and the fresh avocado 5. Dominican house/cocoa - the house and the cocoa process was very interesting and entertaining. I did buy stuff then found the same stuff cheaper at the gift shop so that was confusing. Also need bug spray for this part. 6. Cigars - that was fast and fun, they took videos of us rolling which was a fun experience to have 7. Macao beach - AMAZING so beautiful I wanted to stay forever, no seaweed, clear waters, only issue was the vendors they are asking OUTRAGEOUS prices, like $300 for a couple bracelets. Don’t let them get you. Overall I felt it was a great cultural experience, it was a long day and we were so tired after but we saw so much. Not sure how to upload photos

One of our best days!
While staying at an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, we wanted to go outside the "hotel zone" and experience more of beautiful Dominican Republic. This 3-in-1 excursion let us do just that! The stop at Montaña Redonda was quick, but included a thrilling ride up the windy mountain road, then amazing panoramic views of the valley below. The boat ride through the canals of Los Haitises National Park, lined with mangrove trees, was fun and beautiful. Then, the hike through cool caves with ancient petroglyphs was something special. And the last stop, at the Rancho Salto Yanigua Waterfall was the perfect end to the day. Our guide, Carlos, had told us from the start that "everyone in the DR is family" and that's the kind of welcome we received. The food was amazing, the swim in the waterfall pool was cool and refreshing, and the climb up to Tarzan's Treehouse was exhilarating. It was a long day, but the bus was air conditioned and pretty comfortable. Our driver, Jimmy, was great with the sometimes not great roads and all the "sleeping police" we encountered (Carlos' name for the MANY speed bumps!). It was great learning from Carlos about the history and culture of the Dominican Republic throughout the day. It really added so much to the experience. ♥️🇩🇴 We highly recommend this excursion!

Amazing!!
We were picked up in a timely manner and dropped back off at our resort. Marianna and her husband are definitely the A team. The equipment is well maintained. Instructions are very thorough even for riders with no experience. The ride is easy enough for new beginners and still fun for the experienced. The views were amazing and the visit to the coconut grove was very informative. This is a well oiled operation. So glad the reviews did not lie! Thank you!

Great day experiencing the island's culture!
Danilo was an awesome tour guide and was very informative. He made the day fun and interesting. The stops we made were great, horseback riding the church at Higuey, the sovenier shops, the walk through the market, the local food by the river, cigar shop and the best part the beach all made the day worth it. Would definitely recommend!! Definitely no mickey mouse thing lol
