What are people saying about Punta Cana

Great half day excursion!
Definitely a great trip to spend half the day! If you get an ATV, you won’t get as muddy as the buggies. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip with Charlie as our ATV Guide, Cappuccino as the photographer, and Johnson as the starter. The cenote is definitely more packed on busier days but Macao beach was beautiful. Make sure to bring your own goggles or bandana to protect your face, but they will sell them to you there as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent fun!
Absolutely amazing experience! Marianna and Kazak looked after the group so well, always ensuring our safety. Great fun and really interesting to visit a local family in their home. Fantastic value for money, lovely hosts and a great way to spend a morning!

Fun!
I had an incredible time on the ATV buggy ride — it was the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and fun. The buggies were well-maintained and easy to handle, making the ride feel safe yet thrilling. The guides were professional, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable before heading out.
The route itself was stunning: winding trails through lush landscapes, splashes of mud that added to the excitement, and stops at scenic spots that gave us time to take in the views. It felt like the perfect balance of adrenaline and relaxation.
What stood out most was the sense of freedom — being able to explore off-road terrain while still knowing the staff had everything under control. Whether you’re a first-timer or experienced rider, this is an unforgettable experience.

We really enjoyed this atv tour!
Our tour guide was polite, professional, and everyone we encountered on the tour was a pleasure to deal with.
First we stopped at a coffee shop where we got to taste multiple products — coffee, cacao, mamajuana — and had the option to buy what we liked. Next we went to a cave with water for a swim, which was amazing.
On the way back, I accidentally dropped my bag with all the purchases I’d made at the coffee shop. Once I realized, our tour guide immediately sent another guide with me and my husband to retrace our path to look for it. When we couldn’t find it, he brought us back to the shop and let us take the items we’d originally purchased at no charge!!!
The honesty and care was incredible. I highly recommend this

I really liked the Tour
Me and my Niece went for this tour. They have picked me up from my resort (TAN Resort CAAP Cana) according to the time they sent before the day of excursion. I have taken the last tour of the day which started around 3pm.
I have chosen ATV. And things to remember that you need to be 18 years of age to drive either ATV or buggy.
That was mixed up paved and unpaved Road, some are muddy too. Everything was according to the time, they have not rushed for anything. There was total three stops, chocolate coffee and Mamajuana testing, cave cenote and lastly the Macaw Beach.
The total ride was excellent and the automatic ATVs are very easy to drive. Macao Beach was fun, big and strong wave and I liked a lot. Only problem is there are too much beach vendors.
I recommend, though it was through Dominican Experience but the actual company who run the buggies and ATVs name is Boogy Punta Cana.

Pros outweighs cons on this fun tour
I read the pros and cons from the various reviews prior to booking with some concern. However, I can state that on this occasion, I think it was a stand out tour event. We were picked up on time from our resort without issue AND with lots of open communication from the driver beforehand. We arrived at the starting point and got signed in fairly quickly even with a very large group there with us. I will say the music was blasting and if you have young children, the lyrics may be a bit much. But otherwise the start up portion was uneventful. The lead guide Carlos was awesome.
Once we were on the road in the buggies, we did see intermittent issues with some buggies but nothing beyond I haven’t seen before on other similar tours. The guides kept everything running smoothly.
The first stop at the Dominican ‘farm’ was nice and really brief (15 to 20 min maybe) where they let you smell various fresh ground items like cacao and coffee and vanilla. You also got small tastings of mamajuana, coffee or tea. There was surprisingly very little push on the sales, which was refreshing.
The second stop was at Macao beach, which was beautiful. You can buy lunch from the vendors there but they would watch for a bait and switch on the prices there. Otherwise it was a beautiful sight. Be prepared for the return from the beach for guys washing your feet with water and expecting a tip even if you don’t ask for it. I would recommend a firm no if that’s not what you want.
The final stop was at the Cenote outside Domitai Park. I can tell you it’s a very refreshing dip, but if you have issues with steps , be careful. And if you do jump in, you have to pull yourself out with a rope on the side as well. And it’s a deeeep dip.
Overall, a great tour. Oh, the photographer was nice but be prepared for a costly package at the end (it was essentially $25 per person in your group for about 10 pics total).

This buggy tour to the...
This buggy tour to the water cave and Macao Beach was an absolute blast! 🔥
From the moment we got started, the whole experience was just pure fun. Driving the buggy through different terrains, getting a little muddy, and taking in the views—it was all part of the adventure.
The water cave was a really cool stop—super refreshing and a nice break in the middle of the ride. And Macao Beach was the perfect way to end it. Beautiful views, chill vibes, and just a great place to relax after the ride.
The guides were great—very organized, made sure everyone was safe, but still kept the energy up and fun the whole time.
If you’re looking for something exciting to do, this is 100% worth it. One of those experiences you’ll be talking about after your trip for sure!

Have fun at the run
From beginning to end the booking, communication, customer service and pick up time get 💯 review.
Have Fun at the Run picked us up at the gate of our hotel at 7am. The experience was worth every penny for those you like this type of activity. My teens and I loved the excursion. The roads are bumpy and muddy but that is the idea of this excursion. The time provided at each stop was good enough to take pictures, take a small swim, clean up and move on to the next stop.

Best buggy tour in Punta Cana
Great experience driving the buggy and getting mud all over the place. There are rains just before our tour, we got upgrades from a "scenic drive" to a "mud-slinging adrenaline rush". Sometimes you will feel you are driving a boat instead of car, It was so much fun! Some advice: bring your bandana, sunglasses and water shoes. Or you can get one from them for about $5–$10. Wear clothes you are prepared to throw away. The Dominican mud has a unique way of permanently staining white and light-colored fabrics.

So much fun...but know these things!
It was great fun! You should know that they provide lockers with a lock and key for you to store belongings, so bring a towel, bathing suit, and a change of clothing (and crocs if you have them). You will get muddy on the buggy ride. There are outdoor showers after this activity. Ziplining was awesome with gorgeous views. You may also want to bring tip money, sunscreen, and your own drinks. (Not included) Be prepared to wait around for the next activity to begin, especially if there are big groups.

Great time
We drove the ATVs with our tour guide Alexis ! It was a good time and good break from the hotels. Got to go out on the four wheeler and go to the natural pool. It was a fun day and we went to the beach, which was a really nice time. Don’t forget a towel, sunglasses, and bandana! Our bandana was $5, so don’t worry if you forgot one!
