I booked this excursion for Labor Day 2025, and was pleased overall with the outcome. Luis Miguel was our tour guide and he was very sweet and kind with our group. He also helped us with the “hecklers” in the area whenever we would stop for an activity. I was unable to drive the atv(my glasses couldn’t fit under the goggles) but was able to ride with the mechanic which was neat. I would recommend this excursion to anyone.

Tour was a blast. Great experience outside of our resort. Guides were great. I left my phone on the shuttle and they brought it back to me the next day while they were making pickups.

Staff was very friendly and excited for the trip. We got to spend a lot of time on the ATVs which was great! Our tour guides were great and had so much fun!

We had a great experience it was a lot of fun. The beach tour was great actually my favorite part to end our excursion.

Great experience, well worth the money. The gift shops are a bit expensive, but I knew that. Overall was a great time. Will definitely come back again!

This tour was wholly disappointing, would recommend avoiding and looking elsewhere.
First impression wasn’t great when we didn’t receive pick up information and had to chase the operator and then Viator (after the operator didn’t respond). Eventually got our pick up time at 8pm the night before a 7:10am pickup.
Tour location was only 45mins from our hotel so surprised to hear our pickup time was 110 mins before the start time of 9am!
Gave them the benefit of the doubt but the Transfer then involved a coffee stop for the driver, a 20 min wait at one hotel for other guests and a detour to another where nobody boarded the bus (appreciate those may not be the operators fault but not ideal spending so long on the uncomfortable safari style truck)
When we arrived staff gave no welcome or information, just told to sit down and handed out the indemnity forms, then the sales pitches started - introductions to staff members who could sell us cigars, jewellery etc. and the photographer who we could purchase photos from.
Tour we had booked was listed as being quad bike ATVs in the description and images, that is what we wanted and were expecting but is not accurate. It was the low buggies / boogies, not what we wanted or had booked. Again, thought we’d just go with it but then given no instruction on how to drive them just had to figure it out. No safety briefing, other than being told to stay in single file. Couldn’t help but notice every other tour we passed were wearing helmets, these were not offered to us.
Looking at the traveller review images afterwards who are all on quad bikes it’s clear that they’re in an entirely different location at another ranch so am unsure whether provider has changed or whether we were somehow sent on a tour with another provider.
Tour was listed as being “approx 4 hours” but it was only 2.5hrs.
The whole thing was incredibly rushed, very short stops at the beach and cenote. Literally 10 mins but not given any indication on how long each stop would be. Not enough time to explore at all, the cenote in particular was super disappointing - a queue down the stairs, jump in, get out and then back upstairs to leave.
The coffee and chocolate tasting at the traditional Dominican house was back at the buggy ranch around the back, again very rushed and they were just pushing you to buy their products at incredibly inflated prices. Only positive was they mentioned 30% was donated to a local school…
Buggy riding between locations was pretty slow and boring, touring through the “lush jungle” it is not.
The morning was OK, and we tried to make the best of it. But I wouldn’t recommend it and was not good value, literally every other group we passed looked to be having a better time than us! Would advise looking at other providers for an ATV tour.

When you put 9 AM is your pick up time or start time of an event that doesn’t mean you need to be ready at 7:30

Tour was great and informative. tour guide was very helpful. food was awesome. The tour was worth the price.

The tour is fun. Wear dirty clothings if playing the boogie. Muddy and fun!!! Our tour guide Kitson is really nice and bring up the vibe.
Helen_A, Oct 2025
This excursion was fantastic! The communications before the trip were great as we k ew exactly what time we were being picked up and the name of our driver and van name. The operator kept us updated which was reassuring. Kitson our guide made sure that safety was paramount. We had a family of 5 with the youngest being 12, and it was amazing. The quads and buggies were great. We brought our own goggles and balaclavas which paid dividends! The cave stop was beautiful and then onto the coffee and cacao tasting. What was great was that there wasn't any hassle to buy, so you wanted to buy! Then onto Macao beach which was amazing. Then back through muddy water which my children loved! Value fir money and a great experience. We normally book excursions through our holiday reps, but took a risk this time which really paid off. Thank you to the tour operators.

Had a great time traveling through the country side. The tour guides we're very friendly and wanted everyone to have a great time and be safe. I would definitely recommend.
Steven_L, Jul 2025
Tour guide ensured we had a good time and most importantly a safe time. No complaints, made sure everyone was comfortable and felt safe even with the outside vendors wanting you to purchase souvenirs.

kitson was an amazing tour guide, the excursion was incredibly fun and just as beautiful! i highly recommend
HARRY_C, Apr 2025
We had a group of 4 who have all done ATV excursions prior in other countries. We all agreed this was the worst we'd done. It started out fine, but it wasn't very exciting & our guide spent the entire return trip yelling to someone on the phone. The beach stop was beautiful, but a hot hike from the parking spot. Not a big deal, but letting others know if a walk in the heat is an issue. Also of note as it seemed a bit shady to us, the team spends a lot of time prior to the start telling you why not to buy from the vendors at the first stop & to wait for the coffee/rum stop. The coffee/rum stop is back at their location. Not sure how the prices compare, but we found the selling tactic a turn-off.

First and foremost our booking was change from 9am to 12pm. And that was not cool, because we had this book and confirmed since we left the states/home to be exact.
But overall excursion itself was fun for me and my wife we wanted to ride ATV individually to get that experience.
I will recommend , make sure to bring some googles which you can buy from Amazon , and if your riding ATVs buy some motorcycle gloves only because your hands will get sore from holding onto the handle bars. My hands were bruised because I bruised easily. And make sure to buy a mask I will suggest an entire mask to go over hair if you don’t care too just my recommendation.
We met another couple which I think maybe it was a reason it happen to be change which was cool.
So book and don’t regret !!!
Oh yeah and the pictures they take you can buy which aren’t bad at all I got all 93 pictures for $80. Worth every penny !! You can’t get that on a cruise ship or back home.

Beautiful lush scenery and a lot of riding. Fun. Pictures were not very good and were overpriced. Felix was a great guide and the stops were quick but good. At the end I witnessed the staff stealing money from a tourists fanny pack. Disappointing.

- The ATV was amazing fun!
- Avoid the buggy as you'll drink all the stagnant puddle water (it stinks)
- You need a bandanna. They are $5-15 onsite, so bring it with you if you can. Yes, you need one!
- Your clothes will get muddy, and it's not something you're getting out in the hotel basin, so expect a wear-on outfit.
- the guy selling photos at the end wants $80 for a handful of poor photos - he's not interested in a deal and is pretty rude. They do this bit after they ask for your review (shock!)
Overall, I had a brilliant day - I'd do it again

This experience was a great way to start the trip off. If you are looking for a great way to get an adrenaline rush but also view the local spots around the city. I would highly recommend this as a great excursion.
Ester_C, Oct 2024
So much fun. The team, Kitson and his crew were very entertaining. I loved how concerned for our safety they were. The photographer took great photos! I didn't plan on buying photos, but they were really good, and it wasn't easy taking pictures while on the ATV. I would do this again.

This tour was GREAT! we had the best time, great activity to add to our honeymoon trip. our tour guide Felix was amazing, he really made you feel comfortable, spread good vibes
and showed us a great time.

10/10 fun and safe! A great way to see parts of Punta Cana outside the resorts. Crew is very professional and knowledgeable. Tip; bring cash with you if you plan to buy souvenirs or food along the way (negotiate pricing) the excursion is approx 2.5-3hrs and makes 3stops.
Jerry_S, Sep 2024
Great time into was great guide and excellent experience. Would recommend it to do it while your visiting
Bridget_H, Aug 2024
We enjoyed the ATV tour! Kitson was funny and safety conscious. We stopped at a cave, chocolate/coffee tent, and the beach. The cave was cool. The chocolate/coffee tent was less educational and more of a sales trap. The beach was really pretty. The ATV ride does get a little muddy on your legs so wear older pants/shoes and sunscreen. There is a rinse-off station & water fountain back at the facility so that was nice.
PEGGY_C, Aug 2024
1st time on an RV and it was amazing! I loved it. My only regret is that I wore water shoes instead of regular shoes or sneakers. Lots of walking on rocks. But my RV was nicely, I would definitely book this again.
Firdows_M, Aug 2024
Francisco was a great tour guide! The route was very bumpy but we drove through multiple neighborhoods. Would definitely recommend, just be prepared to get a little muddy!
Crystal_K, Jul 2024
Francisco was very friendly and personable. Very bumpy roads but overall a great time. Would book again.
Raul_A, Jul 2024
Great trip from pick up to drop off! Everything was on time and tour Guide (Francisco) was great. ATVs were all in great shape also.
Michael_C, Jul 2024
This was a pretty good experience. I would really say there was a chocolate tasting. You got to taste a couple of coffees and a hot chocolate. It was not what I expected in that regard. You can pay extra for the photos taken on the tour.
Vince_B, Jul 2024
The tour guide, Kingston was awesome. The photographer took awesome pictures. My rating is based on the fact that I paid $179 for 3 adults (2 shared a quad and one single unit). Once the tour started, I was advised that I had to pay an additional $50 and no one could explain to me what the additional charge was for. I feel that this was very unprofessional.
