I recently went on the Extreme Buggy Tour in Punta Cana, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, the entire experience was so well organized. The staff was professional, friendly, and always made sure we felt safe every step of the way. The buggies were well-maintained, the river cave was stunning, and Macao Beach was a dream. You can tell this tour is run by people who really care about delivering a top-notch experience. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Punta Cana! Cesar was a fantastic guide

The overall tour was good but the tour was almost 2 hours longer than described and we waited over an hour at the buggy spot as they wanted to upsell items. After the excursion we were put on a large open air bus and our driver missed our resort turn. He picked up 2 hitch hikers along the way and may have been distracted. When we arrived at the next resort I reminded him of our resort and because he didn’t want to do another U turn on his way to Punta Cana from Bávaro which is 25km from the resort we were staying at so he dropped us at the employee bus station in the back of the resort. We had no clue if it was even our resort and no one spoke much English so we walked past the industrial sections until we found someone to give us directions to the main parts of the resort. We walked for about 20 minutes and it was not pleasant. We called the contact from the Viator app and they said they should not have left us there but we never heard back or anything to compensate us for the inconvenience.

Sadly buggies were pretty beat and worn out. If your idea of an off road adventure is a pothole filled backroad then this is for you. The beach was stunning. Cave was ok. Staff and workers were very good and helpful. Make sure if you go put your backpack in a bag and wear clothes you dont mind getting dirty.

The pick up was on time, amazing people that worked there! Our guide Chris was great, he cared about our safety and made sure the group stay together. You get dirty, such a fun experience and the event was well organize and soo kind n friendly! Pls tip them! They work hard to give you great experience!

I found this experience for very cheap and I see why! Very unorganized setup and unprofessional we waited in a waiting area almost 2 and a half hours before the excursion even started with them randomly picking people no matter the time they arrived

When they take you to purchase food, do not buy any food! You don’t have time to eat it or enjoy it!!!! They also give you fish for chicken. Such a wait of money for 3 people we spent $250 and had no time to eat it.

This excursion doesn't include food, we don't sell food, If you want to buy it at the beach we can't tell you, dont do it, it's up to you, but we can't control the prices and when you arrived at the beach stop you knew already the waiting time there.

The actual tour was great, the reason why I couldn't give it 5 stars is because our driver got lost on the way to the place. From our hotel there were 13 or 14 people going, the van that they sent said only 12 would fit and the others would have to wait for another bus to come. My husband, myself and my two kids waited for the other person to arrive, he first told my husband he wasn't our driver then when we asked again he said he just found our name on the list. The whole drive there he was on the phone with someone trying to figure out which way to go and we still ended up passing the place twice. By the time we got there they were rushing us to sign the paperwork because they said we were late and we would now have less time on the tour. After everything was filled out and they explained the rules they sent us over to a table so we can buy souvenirs and handmade jewelry (I didn't understand how we all of a sudden had time to do this if we were already late) Once we actually got onto the trail it was fun, it was very dry dirt so we didn't get muddy but the ride was fun. The tastings were really good but I feel like we could've spent less time there because people were just sitting around waiting to get back into the buggies. The walk to the beach was pretty far so it might be difficult if you have trouble walking, but it was nice to cool off in the water. I probably wouldn't do this tour again because of the transportation issue and feeling rushed.

This excursion is the worst. Do yourself a favor and book through your hotel. I waited 20 extra minutes from the time provided for transportation. We arrived to the excursion and wasted another 2 hours doing nothing before it finally started. Sitting inside the transportation was very tight in a small van with 9 ppl. They want to charge you for every little thing. Don’t do it.

Do not waste your money with this excursion, you would not have fun. I was there, June 11th. The tour guide had his girlfriend.
We could not enjoy ourself. We only stay 10 or 15 minutes at the beach. It was a waste of money. Me and my girlfriend was not happy. I would never do that again and don't book it with Viator because they would not refund you your money.

very easy transportation, back and forth! tour guides were very good. best part is driving the buggy’s! You do get very very muddy so wear clothing you don’t care to get dirty or stained. Swimming cave is dark so be prepared for that! Beach is beautiful! Vendors do ask you to buy stuff but are super respectful when you say no!

I would recommend this tour for people who are looking to explore some cool areas in Punta Cana, but be prepared for some disappointments. I found it very unethical and in bad faith that upon arrival, almost everyone tried to upsell us to rent bigger engine cars. DON’T waste your money upgrading! Regardless of what car you choose, you’re not allowed to go faster than 5-10 miles per hour, as you’re stuck following the pace of the guide in front.
They advertise this tour as an “extreme ride,” but in reality, there’s nothing extreme about it. If you’re looking for a thrilling adventure, this isn’t the one.

Absolutely the worse vendor. Thank God for Amazon (1 of the tour guides) he made us feel a lot better. 1st car wouldn't start, 2nd car steering wheel was coming off, 3rd car was hot wired. The lead tour guide Cesar very rude and rush you every stop, I wish I could get my money back. We were so ready to just go back to our hotel.

I paid for photos $50 US dollars and NEVER RECEIVED!!! The main rour guide was rude by rushing everyone at each stop. Myself and others did not get to dip in the cave. Too many people in one trip. They should limit how many they take out and ensure everyone gets to do what they paid for! Where are my photos!!!!

It was the worst experience,they gave me a buggy that wasn’t working properly the wheels wasn’t taking any lock and one of the wheel was breaking off and no one wanted to change it each time I told them to, The buggy slam into a tree trunk because it wasn’t turning,my shoulder hurts because of the tightness of the steering not taking any lock. I have to act out of character that’s when they gave me an atv. The atv they gave me I ran out of gas ever gone leave me without even notice I wasn’t in the line. Someone else assisted by transferring gas from a buggy that fail a guest to my atv that is how I proceeded after along while the tour guide realized and turned back for us.

Buggies kept turning off the entire ride had to switch numerous times. We were pressured to buy the entire trip and pose for photos.

Greatest memories.. disappointed 22 times buggy broke down then recharge again again. It’s not fair for my son. He want ride all the way not stop and stop. But heavy raining more fun but not the same our expectations.. I would like money back but worker said no you don’t get money back after wasted 22 times

The whole trip was fun. The buggy ride was a blast. We drove through as much mud as we could. I know some people complain about the buggies not working and they are broken down. With the abuse they take on the trails I can see why. If they can't get you restarted, they always had another one available. The beach you go to is beautiful and the cave was a unique experience. Would definitely recommend
