My family enjoyed this outing. Chris was a good tour guide and the food was quite tasty. GREAT EXPERIENCE
Jason_H, Feb 2026
Everything was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took us to all 5 activities. There was also something to do back-to-back. The market could have been skipped, but it was a good experience and allowed us to acknowledge the culture and way of living for ourselves!

I wouldn’t recommend something so strongly if I didn’t truly enjoy it. This was an AMAZING tour and experience! I really appreciate Javier, the best tour guide ever, for being so welcoming and making us feel like family.
The entire day, we felt heard and seen, and we had an absolute blast! We loved it so much that we ended up booking our other excursions through him!

The staff was very friendly and ensure we had a great time. I just didn't like the fact that we were not allowed to have our phones on the tours but we had a time

Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, we were required to pay additional fees for Dune Buggy safety gear, including glasses, masks, and helmets. In my previous experiences with ATV and dune buggy excursions in other countries, this equipment was always included unless opting for customized gear, so this was surprising and disappointing.
I also paid an extra $80 for lobster but never received it, despite showing proof of purchase. This was extremely frustrating and felt like a waste of money. While the lunch provided (fried chicken, pork, beans, rice, and coleslaw) was tasty, especially the fried chicken the dining experience was unpleasant. The area where lunch was served had an overwhelming number of flies, making it nearly impossible for guests to enjoy their meal comfortably. While I understand that nature can’t be controlled, the organizers could have chosen a more suitable dining location.Another disappointing aspect was the cost of photos. As a solo traveler, I was charged an additional $20 for my excursion pictures, while couples and groups received the exact same package at a significantly lower rate. This felt unfair and unprofessional.
Additionally, the excursion was advertised as including a “city tour,” which did not occur. Instead, we were taken to a souvenir shop to purchase tobacco and other items. No city tour AT ALL. This felt misleading and like false advertising.
Overall, this excursion was disappointing and did not align with what was promised. I would not recommend it, as it lacked transparency, value, and proper organization.

Everything is communicated and taken care of. Although there are multiple excursions within the set you sometimes get the option to choose what you would rather do. Make sure to bring everything that is said to have and make sure to bring cash. Javier was great and so was our driver. The photographer was also very good at their job and made the pictures fun.

This absolutely incredible for me, You can’t go wrong when a tour offers you free food! And a piece of mind that your travel experience is going absolutely smoothly.
You get picked up at your location
You get a free full course meal not snacks
You get exactly the excursions it promises all in one day!
Lean about the culture and coffee and coco
I had an amazing adventure on this truly.

The first few activities were kind of unneeded. However, when we finally got to zip line & dune buggies, that was great!

From pick and drop off. Everything was great and I highly recommend this company. They focus on quality not quantity.

The activity is very good and an all day adventure. You experience a variety of things. The city tour is very educational, the church is beautiful and fantastic. We are a family of four and we were fortunate to have our own tour guide and driver. Both very knowledgeable. We felt safe and we were able to take our time.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your family had such a positive experience with our all-day adventure. It's fantastic to know that you found the city tour educational and enjoyed the beauty of the church.
We're especially glad that you had the opportunity to have your own tour guide and driver. Their knowledge and professionalism are what we strive for, and it’s great to know they made you feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience.

0 star. I got confirmation email and they told me the pick up time will be 725 and our drive name is Mr. Javier and his contact information is 8498633033. we started to wait from 7:15 am and until 817 am. there is no show of Javier. I tried to call and text him and there is no response for whatsoever. I sent message to tour operator at 8 17 am. they finally reponsed at 4 pm and apologize for no show. they offered to reschedule for next day. we have to leave Punta Cana and there is no time to do it. Viator has great customer service and give us refund. the caribbean tour service also agree to refund. that was our experience. wish you guys have better luck
Response from Host, Jan 2025

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced regarding the no-show of Mr. Javier and the delayed response from our team. We understand how frustrating it can be to wait for a service that does not meet your expectations, especially when you have time constraints.
Your feedback is invaluable, and we are actively reviewing our communication processes to ensure that such situations are handled more efficiently in the future. We appreciate your understanding and are glad to hear that Viator and the Caribbean tour service were able to assist you with a refund.
We hope that you will consider giving us another chance in the future.
Thank you for your patience,.

The trip did not go as planned. Let me start by saying the tour operators were great. The driver and tour guide was awesome. However, we did not get to do the five things as planned and paid. Horseback riding was a muddy mess. The horses were not trained and I’m not sure you can call that a ride. They literally held the reins of the horses, trekked us through 5 inches of mud for about 15 minutes and called that a ride. No one on the trip was impressed. We were supposed to go leave there and go for a “city tour” and lunch. We were told when we loaded in the van there was a change in plans that we were now headed to ziplining and buggy riding.
This is where things turned bad. We got there and had about 30-45 minutes of down town. We sat doing nothing waiting on another group to finish. Then when we finally got our turn and finished. The workers had to take the other groups horseback riding and buggy riding so we waited another 45 minutes or more. I asked our tour guide why were there groups that came AFTER us taken on their experiences store is and the most I got was we all had different tours.
Finally our turn for the buggy and we were told since we had to wait we would be given more time. But that didn’t happen. We had about 15-20 minutes on the buggy’s and that’s it!! Totally not worth TWO HOURS of doing nothing!
Finally lunch time and that was nice.
After that NO CITY TOUR. We were taken to see the outside of a church and that’s it!
We did t do the Eco Farm and we didn’t get to see a typical Dominican family life/culture as told because it had gotten so late.
I have three stars because we did enjoy the zip lines and the few minutes on buggy’s well as the good. This was totally not worth the amount of money I paid.
Response from Host, Dec 2024
Hello,
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, both positive and negative. It's valuable to hear what aspects of the tour worked well and what areas need improvement. We're glad you enjoyed the zip lines and the brief time on the buggies. However, we sincerely apologize that the horseback riding, city tour, and cultural experience components of your tour did not meet your expectations or the advertised itinerary. The issues you described with the horseback riding, particularly the short duration and muddy conditions, are concerning. We also understand your frustration with the unexpected changes to the itinerary and the extended wait times between activities. We will address these concerns with the local operators to ensure a better experience for future guests.

This review disheartened me to write. But, if it’ll save other tourists from the experience we had, it’s worth it. I’d like to start out by saying I have been on many many excursions and tours throughout all of my travels around the world. Some with large groups and some just my friend and I. Nevertheless, every time I went on one, the person who picked us up did so in a car, van or bus with some sort of decal or branding signifying they were indeed the accredited tour we booked. Most times, they would even wear a shirt or hat with company branding. Not this time. As we walking out of our hotel area looking for our “tour” we were met with a man and his small, personal, red car. There were excursion buses and vans all around and something in my gut didn’t feel right. So I asked “are you taking us to a location with a bigger bus and we’re meeting the group?”, which has happened before to me. To which he said “this is it! You get a private tour today”. My boyfriend who has never gone on an organized excursion thought it was great. But I didn’t feel 100% comfortable. To back up for a second, we paid $260 total for an excursion that took us to do 5 different experiences. As the day went on, I started to relax a bit more as we got to know the driver (who says he is the owners son) and he kept calling us family (yuck). It wasn’t until the second to last excursion when I noticed he started to drink mamajuana freely. As if he wasn’t working. I don’t know if this is a cultural thing or if he just didn’t care. But, by the end of the tour when he went to drop us off, he was visually not as “put together” as the beginning of the tour. We still tipped generously since he took us all over the place and overall, we did have a nice time. Minus a few red flags.
He mentioned over and over how he wanted to “hang out” again at no cost to us the next day or before we left to go fishing. We didn’t give it a second thought until we were on the beach we were staying at and sourcing prices to go snorkeling. At that very moment, he messaged us. And we thought “oh. Maybe he has a tour since we already went out with him”. We asked him and he assured us that he did. We once again exit our hotel and look for the small red car. While I was still not comfortable 100% with this, we had just gone out two days before and maybe this was just the norm here, right? Wrong. As soon as we entered his car you felt a sense of dread and like something wasn’t right. We asked if everything was ok and he immediately said “family, I have a big favor to ask you. I need $100. I can even go to my house and get you my laptop to hold until I bring you the money tomorrow morning.”
Here we are, in a foreign country, with little to no cell service in a local man’s car and we had no choice. We tried to say we didn’t have money but then he said we can Zelle his brother. When we said we didn’t have service he was quick to turn his hotspot on for us to be able to send it. We don’t know this man at all. I felt the only safe option was to send the money seeing as what else could we have done?! Thankfully we are ok. And back home in the states. But he has promised over and over “I’ll talk to my brother. I’ll talk to my client. I’ll send the money in 20 minutes. I’ll send the money in an hour” and now it’s been 6 days. We know we won’t get our money back. And at the end of the day, this isn’t even about money anymore. This is about a scam, warning others and principle. He got $100 or DOP 6,020. I warned him I would write this review if he didn’t pay us back and he begged me not to. Obsessively video calling, texting and voice noting us telling us he was sending the money soon. Luckily and thankfully we are safe. And with this we will warn everyone against going on their tour and being scammed out of your hard earned money. There were lots of tour options to book from. DO NOT BOOK CARIBBEAN TOUR SERVICE!

Transpiration was very easy, horseback riding was great timing it lasted about 30 minutes, then we did cigar tasting, the buggies were fast and easy to drive, I recommend taking someone to hold your phone because there’s mug flying everywhere, halfway in the buggies we got into a river so be prepared for that, the zip line was so fun and they had great views. Also the food was buffet style and I loved it.
Danny_G, Oct 2024
The entire experience was great! This tour gives you a taste of the real DR. All 5 tours were fun and memorable. The lobster with lunch was great! Overall, this is an experience worth having.
Winicarm_M, Sep 2024
One of the best excursions possible! Our tour guide Javier truly gave us a VIP experience with each activity & throughout the day, and our photographer Thomas took absolutely amazing photos! Highly recommended.

The activities were fun but the city tour was extremely long and boring. Overall I definitely enjoyed myself.
