You’ll learn about the myths and legends associated with the numerous shipwrecks around these islands, which are now an incredible destination for scuba diving. We’ll visit the 18th century Fortress and explore the caves, we can either visit the caves in a kayak or on board of a glass-bottom boat. Bring your swimsuit, as you’ll have the chance to swim along our journey, we’ll also enjoy a picnic on the beach and relax for a bit. After our adventure on the island, we’ll return to the boat and head back to Peniche. At the end of the boat ride, we’ll return to Lisbon and drop you off at your accommodation.

The Levada dos Maroços takes hikers on a fascinating journey of discovery of the cultures and traditions of Madeira. The beautiful landscapes of this route are mainly composed of agricultural land and crops carefully worked, complemented with views over the city of Machico. Along the way you can observe the residents in their usual tasks, treating their lands or animals. Certainly will be a few hours well spent in a typical environment of the island. If you are lucky, you can find seasonal fresh fruit for sale at some points of the route at a price very appealing. During the weekend all roads lead to Santo da Serra. Located at 667m high, this environmental paradise has its own characteristics. Every weekend a traditional madeiran market takes place with genuine products and plenty of gastronomy where locals and tourists get together. At this locality various Quintas (farming ranches) are available for the public to visit for free. When the market in Santo is closed we head to Funchal Farm Market to visit this amazing building constructed on 1940, here you can see all kind of fruits, vegetables and flowers the island has to offer.
