Had a great introduction to Porto on our private walking tour with Antonio. He grew up in the area, so could share personal insights on how Porto has evolved over the years. He’s also a genuinely personable individual, who is passionate about the city. We covered a lot of ground and learned a lot in our 3 hours together. We went on a three hour walking tour with Mayinka and it was amazing! Despite it being a Sunday when many things are closed, we never felt like we missed anything and she made sure to point out other places for us to check out.

Mayinka was great. She started my messaging me a few weeks ago to ask what my group was into and then based the tour on that. Religion? Art? Food? She hit the ground running, calling audibles and ducking into shops the whole time. We absolutely loved walking Porto with her. She sent us some wonderful restaurant recommendations for one of our group with a dietary issue.

I can confidently say this was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. My partner and I booked a three-hour private tour in Porto with Mayinka through City Unscripted, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

My guide was Cátia who was absolutely fabulous. I was 22 weeks pregnant when I was on the tour with her. She was very considerate and was able to adapt to my comfort level since it was a walking tour.
My husband and I enjoyed all the stories she told us about Porto and each site we visited. We learned a lot since she has a wealth of knowledge as a city planner of Porto. Cátia was so sweet and I want to recommend her to my friends who are coming to Porto this summer.

Amazing tour with Sophia as a guide! She showed us practically the whole city in 3 hours and was so informative with history and architecture of Porto. We did everything at our pace and even took the time to go into the Cathedral with us. I would highly highly recommend taking this tour with Sophia!

Mayinka was the best! We did a tour of Porto during the rain after a day of travel. We were so tired but Mayinka helped us make the best of it. After her tour we felt familiar with the city & checked out many places she recommended the day after. Also she is a great photographer. Highly recommend!! Wear comfy shoes & be prepared for steep inclines before you take on Porto!

After spending a week in Lisbon, I wasn’t sure I really liked Porto, but Simon won us over with the true hidden gems of Porto. Of course we hit the highlights, the cathedral and the churches, but then we ventured into the hidden side streets, where the real people of Porto live among the ghosts of the past. From the people, and friendly cats to the colorful homes and narrow passages, we were charmed. The magic of Porto even has me writing a very lyrical review.!!

This was the worse tour Ive booked through Viator.i did not feel at all that Simon really understood our interests as we stood and chatted about his past life for quite awhile before starting. Then once we started he admitted he doesn’t know any dates of many events. I felt like this tour was going no where and had no plan nor information of any interest. Disappointed in viator with this. We stopped the tour in an hour !
