What are people saying about Porto

10/10 tour guide and experience
This was one of the best experiences of my two weeks in Portugal, and our guide João was by far the best guide I had on the entire trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and the areas we visited, while also being so friendly and easy to talk to.
The suspension bridge was our first stop, and as someone who is afraid of heights, it was a little scary at first—but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day. Even with some rain, the Paiva Walkways were absolutely beautiful. We then had a lovely traditional Portuguese lunch before ending the day in the charming fishing town of Aveiro. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto!

Douro Valley Excursion
We had a great day learning about the history of the Duoro Valley, Port Wine, and Portugal in general. Luis is a fun and knowledgeable tour guide, interacting with all the guests (and also a very good driver!). The river cruise portion was fun and informative. The guide (Pasqual?) made this portion of the day very enjoyable as well. Then we had a short ride to our first winery where we had plenty of time to taste wine and port while overlooking the Duoro River. Then a beautiful drive up the hills to our second winery where we had an amazing lunch and tasted more wine and port. I would highly recommend this adventure! We would do it again on a future visit to Porto!

Day trip to Douro Valley
This was a good tour, we were picked up from Porto in a small group of 8 and driven first to a boat trip, then lunch at one winery, then a viewpoint stop and ending on another winery.
There’s a lot of driving & the roads are quite high and twisty so if you’re not great with heights/edges I’d stay away. Our guide, Alex, was a good driver and personable.
The beauty of the Douro Valley and the lovely weather did a lot of heavy lifting for us.
The boat tour was fine - it was a bit slow, so we only saw a small section of the river. The guys running it were really friendly.
Lunch decent, and the second winery we visited - Quinta da Foz in Pinhão - was great, with guide Joana really making it special for us.
It’s a solid trip that gets you to Douro, just be aware it’s lots of driving.

Everything perfectly planned :)
I had such a great time on this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Porto. It’s a really easy and well-organised way to see both Braga and Guimarães in one day.
Everything felt perfectly planned — we had enough time at each stop to explore without feeling rushed, but also didn’t waste any time. The balance between guided information and free time was ideal.
The lunch was honestly perfect — a great chance to try traditional Portuguese food and relax in the middle of the day. It really added to the overall experience.
The small group made it feel much more personal and enjoyable, and the whole day just flowed smoothly from start to finish.
Overall, a really enjoyable and stress-free day trip — great value and a highlight of my time in Portugal!

Great transfer!
Joao was amazing! Our drive was complicated by rain and food poisoning from prior day and he was attentive and accommodating the whole time! He was able to give our whole family a tremendous tour and a very smooth and uneventful drive. Lunch spot was amazing! Would highly recommend a trip with him in this hugely comfortable van that fit 6 people and all our luggage very easily! He even left us with recommendations to do in Lisbon and checked in on us the next day!

Def worth it!
Philippe was an amazing tour guide and also made me laugh. He was quite knowledgeable about the areas we visited and Portugal in general. Braga and Guimaraes did not disappoint! Stunning cities in a stunning country. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area.

Very informative tour of the city of Porto. Julianna was very knowledgeable abt the town's history. She showed us the impact historical sites and told us where to go for local specialties as well. We enjoyed her company. It's like talking to an old friend. She is an amazing guide.

Enjoyed!!
We really enjoyed learning from and walking with Ruben on our 3 hour private tour. He is soft spoken yet very enthusiastic about his hometown of Porto which he clearly loves. Our time with him was a great introduction to Porto. He even sent us a follow up email with so much information about Porto plus some restaurant suggestions.

This tour was very organized. Excellent directions to where we were to be picked up. Both wineries we toured were beautiful and we learned so much! Lunch was delicious and a nice way to get to know our small group a little better. Our guide Pedro was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. Very knowledgeable and very fun!

This was an amazing tour....
This was an amazing tour. Carlos was very knowledgeable and engaging. He gave us interesting facts about the region as well as great information about the wines we experienced. The guides at the vineyards were also fantastic. The wines were great as well as the lunch we got to enjoy. To top off the day, the boat ride down the Doro River was beautiful and very relaxing. I highly recommend this tour. It is a great way to spend your day and well worth the money.

Jose was a great guide...
Jose was a great guide and worked with our group so we could adjust the tour according to what we were most interested in seeing and doing. He knows Portugal really well and his recommendations for food, etc. were excellent. We really enjoyed the convenience of having a tour tailor-made for us.

A Great Culinary night in Porto.
Erica was very friendly and knowledgeable. A real pleasure to spend time with. We went to three restaurants and all were different and very interesting. The walk is not too far and down hill. The bifana (spicy pork sandwich) was the best. Not too keen on the Bacaolo (salted cod) though. Overall a great experience in the heart of Porto which I would highly recommend.
