Excellent tour guide and...
Excellent tour guide and experience. Zbyszek was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable. I wish he kept talking the whole time in the shuttle ride! (he talked maybe 20% of the shuttle ride). He also gave an excellent explanation outside of the camp before we went in. Also, this viator booking was able to successfully get us tickets in when even the official Auschwitz site was sold out already.

The trip to and from was flawless. Alex took great care of us from pick-up, drop-off, and getting us where we needed to be to enter the museum. He found us on our break to give us our lunch bag we pre-ordered and when we came back from the last stop. We never searched for him - he always magically appeared. I highly recommend this group for the tour.

Unforgettable - for the right reasons!
Our Kraków–Zakopane tour with Mirek was nothing short of incredible. He messaged us the night before with clear pick up details, and from the moment he collected us to the moment he dropped us off, he was exceptional. A true fountain of knowledge with brilliant humour, great stories, and the kind of warmth that instantly puts you at ease.
We began at the UNESCO wooden village, where Mirek told us all about the storks — even pointing out two nesting right above us. Then came the cheese, vodka and wine tasting, arranged with absolute precision. We even got a fantastic photo of my wife and me dressed as Highlanders, which we’ll treasure.
From there we headed into Zakopane, where snow had started to fall — turning the whole place into something magical. Mirek explained how unusual it was for the season, joking that ‘winter had returned’. He advise on the best the shops, local foods, and traditions before we took the funicular up the mountain for stunning views and a wander through the market stalls. We also tried a recommended selection of Polish soups, which were absolutely delicious.
Finally, we arrived at the Chocholow Baths. With the cold air and falling snow, the outdoor pools were honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The mist rising from the water made everything feel dreamlike, and with so many pools to explore, we tried them all.
I would recommend this trip to absolutely anyone — and if you can, ask for Mirek. He turned a great itinerary into an unforgettable day.

Exactly as advertised
Everything was coordinated perfectly. Driver picked me up precisely on time and delivered me to Auschwitz. He helped guide our group to where we should be for the group tour and delivered me safely back to the hotel afterwards. The day was quite moving and I’m so glad I was able to have this experience.

The organisation of the...
The organisation of the visit was excellent. Communication from the company was very good, sending messages to confirm booking, pick up times and advising the name of driver and a picture of the vehicle. Contact details for the driver also provide.
The visit to Auchwitz and Birkenau, was an experience I won't forget anytime soon. It is difficult to describe, as the tour will resonate differently to each individual.
The actual your guide was knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions. The audible headsets were very good and helped to hear everything being explained.

Auschwitz-Birkenau - it’s a must if you visit Krakow
A very well organised trip with a friendly guide called Bob (aka Peter)
Our original meeting time of 11am had been changed to 12.25-12.40 at the same meeting point. We had read about lots of cancellations and were concerned that ours might be, but I have to say the coach arrived on time and even waited for a few late arrivals!
Journey took approx 1.1/2 hrs. Going to Auschwitz-Birkenau is a must if you are able to do lots of walking and climbing up/down stairs.
I would recommend to book through Viator as we were kept well informed of any changes via email and WhatsApp.
Experienced and knowledgeable staff who were very helpful answering any questions that anyone had.

Lovely scenery
Thoroughly enjoyed this whole experience as did the rest of our group. Picked up at our hotel and driven through the countryside to the various stop offs. We were in a group of 8 in a minivan. Very scenic. Great guide (Peter) who explained everything to us as we went. Loved Zakopane town and the views over the mountains were out of the world. We were told this is very busy during the winter season but there in March it was great with no long queues for the railway up and down the mountain. Dropped back at our hotel afterwards and overall had a really lovely day.

Lovey day out
Enjoyed the day from start to finish, booking the trip was easy and had regular updates reminders throughout the booking process. Our driver was brilliant arrived on time was very approachable and kept us informed,he ensured the group was at the correct meeting point and was waiting upon return.
The salt mine tour was very informative and our guide knowledgeable and friendly.
The break could have been a little longer to ensure the older members of the group had more time to use the facilities.

A truly unique experience
This is a truly unique trip. Our driver Connor was extremely helpful, efficient & ready with recommendations. Out tour guide on the mine was truly amazing, very knowledgeable, informative & very happy to answer any questions, felt like he just gave the right amount of information. There are a lot of stairs but we definitely got our steps in for the day!!

Great and Eye-Opening
The pickup from the hotel was on time and the driver was great. The tour guide is not the driver but you meet the guide at the location in Auschwitz. The first part is a tour through the buildings and then you drive to the second location in Birkenau with the same guide. Such a fascinating experience and sad all at the same time. I went in the winter, so it made me think about the conditions at this time they must have gone through.
I was staying in Krakow so it’s about an hour and a half drive each way.

Salt mine
Amazing experience visiting the salt mine, you need to see it to appreciate the work and sculpture , going back over the centuries. The guide was very informative and interactive. It’s a lot of walking but well worth it. The tour company had excellent communication re pick up and was on time . Very friendly and again informative.
