A Site Worth Seeing!

The drive is long but that's just part of the adventure. It was two+ hours one-way in a 15-passenger van, so four hours of riding for a two hour tour. It worked for our budget this time, however, if we were to return in the future, we would probably pay more for a private tour to have more room on the drive and not have to stop to pick up other guests. It was neat being with other guests, though! Our tour included folks from Germany, Vietnam, Canada, and the USA. Our tour guide was very polite and gave us all the details we needed. It was interesting hearing about the history of the ruins! We just wish we'd had a little more time to explore on our own after the first half with our guide. We realized too late that there was a trail on the side with all the columns that would take you to more ruins to explore! We knew ahead of time that there would be vendors along the entrance but didn't realize just how many would be around the entire place! I'm naturally friendly and hated having to ignore people as I walked by but that was the best way to reduce the amount of times people were hounding us to sell their products. All-in-all, we enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend using this company!

Amazing

This was the best trip me and my partner did in Mexico. We loved swimming with the whale sharks in their natural environment. Even though there are a lot of boats, we felt like the whale sharks weren’t crowded and only 2 people can swim with a whale shark at a time which was great. We managed to get in the water with the whale sharks 3 times and had excellent encounters each time we were in the water with them. After the whale shark encounters, we snorkelled at an area just before Isla Mujeres. This was a good snorkelling spot with a few varieties of fish including a sting ray. After this, the boat docked at Isla mujeres where the water was crystal clear. We were then served lunch which was lovely. We would definitely recommend this trip and would do this again if we returned to this area of Mexico.

What a great experience!

Truly a great experience! Not only did we have an amazing time driving the buggies but we leaned about the culture and way of life of the people. The hand made empanadas were the best I ever had! Than to finished the excursion swimming in a cave leaning about how special and sacred they are really made this a worthwhile experience!! Not to mention our guides really made sure we were well taken care of and available to answer any questions! Definitely will do again! Thank you!!

Such a great guide! Absolutely amazing! If you're interested in history, knowledge and learning a different perspective than just the European tapes we've been told, this is the tour for you. Guides we excellent and flooded us with info on Mayan history, culture, customs, and modern day happenings. The cenote was a lovely soak and the Mayan descendants, Mexican peoples, and all the staff & vendors at different establishments were fantastic!

What an incredible experience filled with adventurous, exhilarating, and exciting activities! The zipline is an absolute must, especially the water hammock zipline—it was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The ATV ride was so much fun and exceeded our expectations. We also loved exploring the caves, whether by swimming or paddling through the crystal-clear water. One of the highlights was the unlimited lunch buffet, which was delicious and had plenty of options. Everything was well organized, and the park is surprisingly friendly for both kids and older adults, making it a great destination for families of all ages. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun-filled adventure!

Wonderful Experience!

Excellent guide! Very knowledgeable about Tulum history and the cenote. You can leave your belongings in the van while you are participating in these experiences. We were very glad to see that Mexico is protecting their waters. No sunscreen allowed. One must shower before entering any of the activities. Food at the end of the experience was very generous! We would like to return to another Viator tour with more cenotes! They are so beautiful and the water is so relaxing! Our driver was outstanding! He was very patient. Everyone should do this trip!

We had an incredible experience on this trip! The mini bus arrived on time and everything was well organised! We had Jorge Luis and I’m sorry I forgot the drivers name but they were both friendly, funny and always made sure we were ok, well hydrated and not hungry! We got complimentary water and snacks on the bus! The trip itself is one everyone should do! The Mayan Ruins were incredible to see! Luis gave us a tour with lots of interesting information and then we had an hour to walk around ourselves! Then we went to the cenote! Which were stunning!!!! We had a Mayan perform a ritual on us! We went into the deepest cave we were allowed in and Luis told us the history and how it all worked! (Pre warning it’s cold but you get used to it!)! The turtles were next! We saw so many turtles it was amazing to see them in their natural habitat! The day we went it was a little choppy at sea but we still managed to see them clearly and quite a few of them! (Even a baby one!) Finally we went to lunch! It was on a lovely secluded beach and the food was delicious! All in all a fantastic trip! Highly recommend!

Pirates!

I would describe it like speedboating through the Caribbean with a bunch of merry pirates. They definitly have their sea legs as they danced and climbed all over the boat. You can tell Gabby and the crew put their heart and soul into their jobs. Even though they were pirates, you knew you taken care of and made sure you were safe. The island of Isla Contoy is paradise. Untouched by humans and the water is prestine. I booked this tour because of the high reviews. I'm going to add me to this list of satisfied customers.

We had Chilango (Cristian 2) as our guide. He was awesome! Chilango was able to speak English and Spanish for our group. Much appreciated. He learned our names pretty quickly, too! The cenote was beautiful. Water is chilly! Ziplines were fun. We did have three zipines, not five as marketed. For the ATVs bring sunglasses and a mask (or bandana) to protect eyes, nose, and mouth from dirt and debris. Mosquito repellent is a necessity. We wore repellent bracelets, but those did not work well. The last thing, bring a waterproof pouch for your cellphone to use during the cenote tour. Photos are a must inside. Lunch afterwards was ok. It was more like a kids' meal size or an appetizer.

Beautiful Park with Amazing Wildlife and Great Experiences

The park is absolutely beautiful! The animal habitats are spacious and designed to feel completely natural, with flowing streams, waterfalls, and lush vegetation throughout. We especially enjoyed the butterfly house, aviary, dolphins, and tortoises — each area was thoughtfully maintained and easy to explore. Be prepared to walk quite a bit, but the park is easy to navigate by following the colored tiles (blue, red, black, or green) embedded in the walkways. We stopped for lunch at Las Bocas Restaurant (#41 on the map), an open-air spot that turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas, which were absolutely amazing — perfectly seasoned and fresh. My husband enjoyed a cold beer served in a frosty glass, and I had their fresh-squeezed lemonade, which was refreshing on a warm day. The total was around $50 USD, which we felt was an excellent value for the quality and service. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The park also features two rivers you can swim in — one easy and one more challenging. We chose the more advanced one. The first half was smooth and relaxing, but the second half swims against the current, so you’ll need to be a confident swimmer. In most areas, you can’t touch the bottom, so I wouldn’t recommend this one for young kids or weak swimmers. Definitely bring water socks, as some of the rocks you might brush against are sharp and lava-like. Life jackets are required for both rivers, and fins are available if you want them (we chose to go without). There are multiple locker areas for towels and clothes, and you’re allowed to bring your own water bottles — there are refill stations throughout the park. They also sell canned water for about $20 pesos. We purchased our tickets through Viator, and upon arrival, we exchanged the electronic tickets for wristbands at the ticket window (photo ID required). We arrived by taxi right at opening, which was perfect because the park stayed quiet for the first few hours before the bus groups arrived. All in all, this park was a fantastic experience — beautiful scenery, well-cared-for animals, delicious food, and plenty to explore. We’d absolutely recommend it and would love to visit again!
