Top Peru Sandboarding

We had a wonderful experience at the Choco Museo making our own chocolate bars, and learning about the entire process from bean to bar. We also got to taste a wide variety to chocolate from Peru, and several types of chocolate based drinks. We had such a fun time and would highly encourage others to do this. You even get 10% off in the shop after the class, where they have more chocolate and tea mixtures. Super worth it!

I have nothing but good things to say about this experience. As someone who was pressed for time and late booking activities, this was an exceptional find. Although they do not highlight it, this is more of a private tour with an incredible introductory lesson for a fun and relaxing day. I would highly suggest booking this experience as they have a private sand dune they use that is much closer to the city of Lima. The complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off service was extremely easy. My driver was excellent company and arrived on time with constant communication. They make a stop right before the sand dunes and another afterward at local bakeries that are exceptional, giving you every chance to use the bathroom or ensuring you have something to eat. The guide was exceptional and his instruction was flawless. The ride was extremely comfortable, and we were on a private sand dune with no one else around. It is a great experience if you want to go sandboarding in a more private setting, with a quarter of the travel time compared to other bookings. Other sandboarding experiences are not private, have much larger groups, and involve travel times of around 6 to 8 hours round trip to a public sand dune. This was private, with excellent service, great instruction, friendly staff, delicious food, and the benefit of taking the time to change and clean yourself before heading back into Lima traffic. It was an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Lima. If you are wanting to go sandboarding, I highly suggest you book this activity now!

This experience is so fun and the host is great. I didn’t feel rushed at all like other excursion groups. Everybody was friendly and we felt like one big family at the end. They are also very safe, I didn’t want to wear a helmet for the dune buggies but I understood it lol. They also accommodated my pick up as my hotel was not listed (Ibis Budget Inn) but was still in Miraflores. I would def pick them again!
