Aymeth (our guide) was engaging, energetic, responsive, and organized. She communicated the schedule and activities in English and Spanish and kept our attention with jokes, comments, and advice. Highly recommend her for other travelers to Lima. The trip overall was also really good! All the guides were knowledgeable, patient and professional. The Paracas Candelabra was beautiful, and the dune buggy and sand boarding were fun. I highly recommend this trip and feel that it’s worth the full day of travel.

Yeli was a wonderful guide, I had a great time! Definitely recommend. It’s a long trip, 16 hours, but definitely worth it. Bring a bandana for the dunebuggying!

superrrr fun and organized! made us preorder meals so there was so hassle during lunch and dinner. boris was great! he made sure everyone was ok and went from person to person to check if they needed any help. we experienced from trouble on the road and he kept everyone calm and sorted it out, they gave out free popcorn too! they did pick us up 30 minutes late tho, would appreciate more time management in that department. other than that, no complaints!
Response from Host, May 2026
Hi Sherlina,
Thank you for your review. We’re really happy to hear you had such a fun and well-organized experience and that you enjoyed the meals and the little extras along the way.

Franklin was amazing and our driver; it was a first class experience from start to finish. Franklin was very detailed and knowledgeable, he was very helpful and kind. He deserves a huge raise. The trip was unforgettable and even though the day was really long, I am glad I chose to visit Peru, this was my first time and I have to return! I didn’t get to see Macchu Picchu so that is next but the pisco tasting, Ballestas Island, Ica, and Huacachina were a marvel! Please do yourself a favor and experience this tour. The 1 drawback I would say is I’m 40 and the sand buggy is not for someone out of shape, you have to climb a sand dune to take the tour and go sandboarding which is not easy. I am writing this review the next day and my body is somewhat sore but extremely glad to do the trip. I met so many nice people from everywhere.
Response from Host, May 2026
Hi Jillian,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that Franklin made such a positive impact on your journey and that you enjoyed each stop. Your feedback about the sand buggy and the physical challenge of climbing the sand dune is truly appreciated and will help future travelers know what to expect.
As we don’t operate the tour ourselves, we’ll share your comments with our local partner.
Warm regards and safe travels,

Franklin was amazing. Kind, patient, organized, knowledgeable, resourceful, aware! . He helped in every way possible.
George, the driver, was extremely professional and welcoming.
I thourougly enjoyed this trip! It was a long trip, but it didnt feel tiring at all. It energized me instead. It fed my soul.
Christopher_z, Apr 2026
The bus is very comfortable seats recline and have charger ports. There is space overhead for backpacks. Although there aren’t many penguins we did see dolphins two penguins and plenty of seas lions. The lunch was good I had the fried rice wife had the beef dish. The pisco tasting was good and fun. The dunes very the highlight very beautiful views and the dunes buggy rides were exhilarating! As was the sand boarding down the dunes. Highly recommend!!
Sophie_D, Apr 2026
It’s awesome experience. Though it’s a long day trip (5am-midnight), it’s fun and comfortable. The bus has WiFi, phone charger, good leg space. Our guide, Aymeth, is great. She organized the big group so well. Paracas boat tour, vineyard lunch and wine tasting, Huacachina sand dune are very impressive. Dune buggy is the best. We had a wonderful day.
Natalia_S, Apr 2026
We didn’t want to rent a car going to Peru. The driving here is a bit crazy. So we just took a tours. First in plan was to take two days tour with staying overnight in oasis (I regret we couldn’t make it this one) and also flying over Nazca lines. But because of some circumstances we took this one day tour. Oasis is a total culmination of the trip. It was so much fun! The guide Franklin was amazing. And the organization of the whole tour was great! I definitely recommend
Maria_M, Apr 2026
What an exciting trip. A day trip to visit Paracas was perfect. They picked you up from hotels and drive you 4 hours away. We visited the Ballard Islands, the went doom buggy riding then went sand boarding. Awesome.
Danielle_S, Apr 2026
It was a long day but a really satisfying tour. The bus was comfortable, our tour guide Franklin was awesome and the stops were top notch. The final stop in Huacachina with the dune buggies and the sand boarding and sunset was a Peru highlight for sure ! The timing of meals was a bit wonky to me. The tour starts at 5:30am, did not include a breakfast stop (BYO snacks) and lunch wasn't until 2:00- so be prepared for that. Overall, Definitely recommend this tour!

Hi chicos y amigos. I have done a fair number of viator tours, so I am honest about them and have perspective. Don't believe the five star average on viator. It is a really long day. And I don't think Viator did a good job explaining the schedule. You are picked up before 5:30 am and return to your hotel at around 11:30 pm. I learned this the night before when I got a communication from the tour. My family almost killed me when I informed them. Most of that time is spent on a bus. If I had it to do over again, I would have looked for a shorter trip. I thought the heavily advertised bus was like a C+. That was why I actually picked this tour because they promoted the bus so much and I knew I was going to be on it a lot. It had a bathroom - no toilet paper allowed. You have USB (no outlets). So bring an adapter because almost everyone has USB-C now. The bus will be packed. We were full. The tour organizer doesn't do much. Just takes you from place to place, sleeps most of the time (which makes sense because she is working from probably 4 am - midnight everyday). Paracas was ok. really crowded boat. We saw like five penguins and a bunch of sea lions and a lot of bird guana. Viator won't let me tell you want guana is, becuase it is considered profane. lunch was forgettable. Pisco tasting was really lame. You don't see the vineyards. You just try to some pisco. If I was looking for a tour, I would do one that doesn't have the pisco stop. Huacachina really cool. The sand dunes, the surfing, the dune buggy ride, the oasis. Really impressive. If I had it to do over again, I would probably have just found a Huacachina tour and skipped the rest. Although to be fair this was the first time I have ever seen penguins in the wild so maybe you do need Paracas too. You order your dinner ahead of time. They suggest eating it on the bus. We ate ours quickly before leaving and that was a good decision. It was fine. You will be shocked to hear we had Lomo Saltado - like the national dish of Peru. It was actually good. Then long ass bus ride back. Straight to bed. You don't need flip flops. You need close toed shoes. I saw a lot of reviews that said you need a jacket on the boat ride. Probably do sometimes. We did not, but bring a sweatshirt or something just in case. My suggestion is you look long and hard at the schedule and think about what you want when comparing to other alternatives. This is probably a 3 or 4 star tour. I never know in other countries if I can pull out a drone and use it. I assume no. FWIW, you can totally bring a drone to Huacachina. Some dude did, and probably totally worth it. He also proposed to his fiance at sunset. Well done, sir.
Maria_P, Apr 2026
I found that they book on too many travelers for the day out, which means the activities tend to be overcrowded or badly organised. Myself and my partner found ourselves squashed into the back of a packed dune buggy for the sandboarding activity. There was actually another dune buggy with lots of space that I wondered if we could be moved onto. But when I asked the tour guide if we could move onto it, he was very rude and dismissive. The lunch place we were taken to was ok but the dinner place we were advised to use, wasn’t great - the food was soggy and the container leaked everywhere. The tour don’t pay for the food but you are heavily pushed to go to the restaurants that the tour guide has partnerships with.

The Paracas trip was beautiful- seeing all the islands and rock formations. Tourists were awed by the penguins and sea lions. Sand boarding was fun. The drive across the sand dunes was simply amazing. NASCAR racers have nothing on our driver- Ramos.
Franklyn our tour guide was friendly, helpful, professional and the tour was well put together.
Everyone misses or ignores the driver- but to me he was the most important ace- getting me to and from the hotel navigating Peru crazy traffic
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Hi Jennifer,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed the full-day tour to Paracas and Huacachina and had such memorable moments from the unique wildlife on the islands to the excitement of sand boarding and crossing the dunes
It is great to know that Franklyn made your day special with his professionalism and friendly support and we especially appreciate your recognition of Ramos whose expert driving helped make your experience both thrilling and safe.

This was truly an all day activity. Got on our bus at 5:50am and didn’t get back until 11:30pm. I will say for the price it is worth it. We had a long bus ride to the first stop which was the animal watch boat ride. The bus ride views were pretty but the boat ride was very underwhelming. Saw two peguins and a bunch of sea lions. The second stop was lunch and wine tasting. Lunch was good, paid 35 S (maybe $10 US). Then we went to the best part which were the sand dunes! So much fun!! great pictures and perfect timing to catch the sunset. We also had a nice dinner which was another 35 S. Plenty of stops and shops to buy snacks, small sandwiches, scarves, and even chargers. The bus has perfect wifi but the charging ports were spotty. I recommend bringing a portable charger. Overall….Great excursion!
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Hi Chandrell,
Thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the overall excursion, especially the exciting sand dunes and the beautiful sunset. Those are definitely highlights of the tour.
Your feedback about the meals, stops, and amenities is very valuable to us and will help us continue improving our service.
Thank you again for your recommendation. Your experience means a lot to our team.

Prepare for a looong day. But the bus is extremely comfortable and the seats recline so you can sleep during the ride.
Paracas and Ballestas Islands were incredible. We saw Humboldt penguins, so many sea lions (lots of babies too) and even a whale on the way back! If you love animals, this is just superb tour.
We had Pisco tasting and lunch. There are several options for lunch and it was tasty. The only suggestion I would make is if it's possible to move Pisco tasting *after* lunch. Because without proper breakfast, just whatever you brought with you on the bus, and with heat and sun, it's a bit of a shock to the system to try five different types of alcohol before proper food.
Huacachina is magical. Prepare for adrenaline rush. Buggy ride is more like a rollercoaster experience. It was fun.
HUGE kudos and thanks to our guide Yeli. She kept us all well informed, with all necessary info both explained personally and sent to WhatsApp group, and she made sure everything runs smoothly and on time. A true rockstar!
Parnel_A, Apr 2026
Nilo was an amazing 10/10 host. He knew everything about Peru. Gave us recommendations and answered every question we had. Paracas was a little underwhelming as it’s just a boat ride. The Pisco tasting was a really good experience. Huacachina was the highlight of my Peru trip. Gustavo was our driver and wow the guy is loco(in a great way). Highly recommend doing the buggying/sandboarding. It’s a non stop roller coaster. The sunset was beautiful too. We spent about 3 hrs here and it was so worth it.
I recommend sitting in the front if possible. Wear sunglasses and a buy a bandana for 5 Soles. I will remember this experience forever.
Peru Hop took care of everything from picking you up to dropping you back off. The bus is also super luxurious with bed type seats.
Sai_N, Mar 2026
Premium option with this tour only allowed us to pre select seats in the bus but didn’t get any free cocktail as mentioned in the booking details. So, a regular booking should just be fine if you are OK with seating as first come first served basis.
Tour with Peru Hop was amazing. Itinerary was followed as mentioned without any hiccups. Tour guide Carlos did a fantastic job explaining stuff, accommodating food and cheering us up.
Definitely recommend Peru Hop!!

This was a once in a lifetime experience. We got to see so much and all the views were amazing. Paracas was beautiful and the sea lions were super cute. We also went to a local vineyard and tasted traditional pisco sours. I will say that a lot of our group’s orders got messed up, but other than that it was good. The buggy experience was the best and so was sandboarding. Arturo is the best tour guide!
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Hi Victoria,
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful feedback! We’re thrilled that you enjoyed the breathtaking views, adorable sea lions in Paracas, vineyard visit, and the unforgettable buggy and sandboarding adventure. We’re also delighted to hear that Arturo made your journey extra special. We’re sorry to hear about the mix-up with your group’s orders in one of our partner restaurants. Thank you for letting us know, as we’re always working to improve.

Highly recommended when staying in Lima. It seems like a lot to do in one day, but it is well organized and at a manageable, enjoyable pace. From the boat ride to see the sea lions to the dune buggy and sand board, it was all fun.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Hi Aldo,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for recommending us! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the well-organized pace and had fun from the boat ride with the sea lions to the dune buggy and sandboarding. It’s fantastic to know we could help make your Lima adventure memorable.

What a great tour! Diego was amazing—everything was very organized and the communication was excellent. He added us to a group chat, which was really helpful for staying informed throughout the trip. The food was amazing as well.
The only small issue we had was during the boat ride in Paracas when my husband and I got separated. That had nothing to do with Peru Hop or Diego, the boat company was trying to keep the larger uneven groups together instead of the smaller ones. It was a little frustrating at first since it was an anniversary gift , but we enjoyed the sea lions and boat ride.
The sand dunes were definitely our favorite part of the trip. The bus was comfortable and exactly as described. The description mentioned that a movie would be played, but that didn’t happen. We still got our popcorn though and honestly, everyone ended up sleeping afterward anyway.
Overall, it was a great experience and we had a wonderful time!
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Hi Guadalupe,
Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear you had such a wonderful time and that Diego made your experience even better with his organization, clear communication, and the helpful group chat. It’s fantastic to know you enjoyed the delicious food, comfortable bus, and especially the sand dunes, they’re always a highlight!
We’re sorry to hear about the moment you and your husband were separated during the Paracas boat ride. As you mentioned, this was arranged by our local partner to manage group sizes, but we understand how it could be frustrating, especially for your special anniversary trip. We really appreciate your patience and are glad you were still able to enjoy the sea lions and the experience together afterward.
We truly appreciate you choosing to travel with us and sharing your experience.
Warm regards,
Peru Hop
DeAnne_B, Mar 2026
We had a blast on this tour! We enjoyed seeing the sea lions however due to the wind we were not able to have the complete tour. What made this tour worth it was the sand dunes. If you are an adrenaline junkie this is for you! Our driver took us through the sand on the dune buggies, then we slide down three large sand mountains. Diego was our tour guide, he was very accommodating, he sent us pictures, and communicated throughout.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Hi there,
Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you had a blast exploring the sand dunes and enjoyed the adrenaline of the dune buggies, even with the wind affecting the sea lion part of your tour. We’re especially pleased that Diego made your experience even better with his friendliness, great communication, and by sharing photos.
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us!
Warm regards,

This was a long day trip so rest up the night before. But such a great way to see so much in one day. Went as a solo traveller and our guide was Arturo. He was lovely. Definitely recommend this day trip!

Diego was my guide for the day. He was amazing. He made the day fun and interesting. You can ask him anything about Lima...from food to culture. I made friends on this trip also.

10/10 experience. The bus has reclining seats, there’s WiFi on board, a bathroom. No waiting at any of the activities. Truly a breeze. It’s a full day. Be prepared for the long drives
